“So what was that all about?” Mirae asked as she spooned a mouthful of rice into . “You were awkwardly silent when you met Eunbin, and since it is you, it was really awkward. Don’t tell me she was one of the bullies that forced you out of Seonam. Because if she is, I swear, I will come armed with toilet paper rolls and I will unleash the ungodly force of toilet paper all over her side of the room” Mirae exclaimed, sending droplets of doenjang jjigae soup at Sooyeon as she swung her spoon up into the sky.

    Picking up a piece of tissue paper to clean away the remnants of the soup, Sooyeon laughed at how candid Mirae was. When she moved to another school after the Seonam episode, she was prepared to just spend her last year in high school alone with no friends, simply preparing for her college exams. Mirae quickly sensed her aura of unbridled pain and proceeded to use the whole of 3 months to try to befriend Sooyeon. She broke down Sooyeon’s wall brick by brick, and finally found out that she was bullied in Seonam, thus resulting in her transfer. She never found out the details to the bullying, but only knew that a group of underclassmen helped Sooyeon out.

That situation was my fault’, Sooyeon sighed inwardly. Sensing that Sooyeon no longer wants to talk about the past, Mirae quickly shifted the conversation onto another topic.
