“Sooyeon-ah”

     That voice, the voice that brought so many butterflies in her stomach, that brought flushes to her face and tingles down her spine. The voice that kept her up at night because she missed it so much. It once brought her so much joy to hear her voice say her name. Now, it only brought on heartache of what could have been a year ago. The moments they could have shared in that 1 year.

    “You know her, Sooyeon?” Mirae asked, as a weird tension brewed between the two girls who were still staring at each other at the door. The two girls in question just stared at each other, taking in everything about each other that they have missed.

    Eunbin’s cheek had sunk a little, missing were the baby fats that Sooyeon used to love to poke and sneak teasing kisses on. Her eye bags were a little heavier than before, and Sooyeon had to clench her fist to restrain herself from asking her why was she not taking care of herself.

    Sooyeon also grew more mature in the one year. Her eyes no longer had the sparkle that Eunbin loved to look at whenever Sooyeon was reading. She looked a lot more tired than before, and Eunbin just simply wanted to hug her.

    “YAH, GET OUT OF THE WAY! The corridor is narrow as it is, stop blocking the way! If you want to go in, go in! If you want to stare at each other then go somewhere else” a girl shouted as she tried to maneuver her way pass E
