Two of Us
I Knew You Were TroubleRyeowook moaned feeling the warmth from the sunlight streaming into the room. His eyes darted opened, eyes glancing at the ceiling above him. His mind felt fuzzy and Ryeowook blinked a few more times before he groggily pushed himself up. Ryeowook yawned and stretched his hands, tilting his head from one side to another and then paused.
Ryeowook’s eyes scanned the room painted green. The bedroom was small and cramped, having only a bed and a dresser. Despite that, clothes were scattered everywhere. Nothing about this room was familiar. In fact, this was the total opposite of Ryeowook’s bedroom. Ryeowook scrambled off the bed, panicking. Where the hell was he? He looked down to his body and thankfully, he realized that he still had on yesterday’s clothes.
Wait a minute.
Oh . Ryeowook frowned when he finally remembered how he got here. Donghae! That blonde bad-boy had asked him out for a drink and brought Ryeowook to a bar where they ended up drinking a little too much. Ryeowook was wasted pretty badly last night. He couldn’t even remember the rest of the night. He hoped to hell that nothing else happened and that Donghae hadn’t taken advantage of him. Speaking of the bad-boy, where was he?
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and Ryeowook glanced at the door. Ah, speak of the devil. Donghae appeared at the bedroom door with a silly smirk on his lips. He had a towel around his waist and nothing else. His tan skin glowed against the sunlight and Ryeowook’s eyes widened at the sight of those damn muscles on his arms. Hot damn.
“Morning,” Donghae greeted, voice low and rough. “You slept okay?”
“I… Uh…” Ryeowook stammered. How was he going to speak when he was so damn distracted by that gorgeous body?
Donghae walked into the room, strutting past Ryeowook to the dresser as he rummaged around. He pulled out a black sweatpants, turning around and facing his back to Ryeowook and to Ryeowook’s surprise, dropped the towel around his waist. Ryeowook yelped as his eyes caught sight of Donghae’s bare bottom before quickly turning around. He heard Donghae chuckling. After a minute, Ryeowook felt hands on his shoulders and then he was being forced to turn around. Donghae had put on the sweatpants but he had no shirt on which really made Ryeowook uncomfortable.
“Let’s get breakfast and then I’ll send you home.” Donghae suggested, winking teasingly. “Just like how I promised.”
Ryeowook nodded. “O…Okay.”
Donghae handed Ryeowook a clean towel, “Here you go. The bathroom’s down the hall.”
“Th.. Thanks.” Ryeowook then awkwardly shifted his weight from one foot to another. He had something he wanted to say but he didn’t know why he suddenly felt so nervous.
Donghae watched him and then raised his brows, “What’s wrong?”
“I… Uh… I don’t remember… What happened.” Ryeowook admitted shyly. “I… Uh… How did I get… Here?”
Donghae gazed at Ryeowook and then smirked, “You don’t remember anything?”
Ryeowook shook his head.
“Well, let me see…” Donghae tapped his fingers against his chin. Then he hung an arm over Ryeowook, “You were pretty drunk last night.”
Ryeowook pressed his lips together hoping that nothing embarrassing happened last night.
“You started walking funny and when I wanted to send you home, you told me that you didn’t want to go home, you said that you wanted me to stay.”
Ryeowook closed his eyes in embarrassment.
“You also said that I was hot.” Donghae grinned, clearly satisfied being able to tease Ryeowook.
“Weren’t you drunk as well?” Ryeowook asked, eyes avoiding looking at Donghae.
“Nah, I couldn’t get myself drunk since I knew I’d be responsible for bringing you home.”
Ryeowook’s lips curved into a smile. Aww. That was sweet of him.
“You wouldn’t tell me where you lived and you were falling asleep so I just brought you home.” Donghae then pointed at the bed behind Ryeowook, “You fell asleep the moment you entered my apartment so I had to carry you all the way here.”
Ryeowook’s cheeks turned pink.
“Other than that, I don’t think you embarrassed yourself that bad.” Donghae winked playfully, “Except maybe that one time when you called my name in your sleep.”
Ryeowook’s jaw fell wide opened. “No, I didn’t!”
“You totally did. I heard it.”
“Why were you even watching me sleep?” Ryeowook accused, pouting.
“Duh, because this is my room.” Donghae told Ryeowook, and then walked closer to Ryeowook leaning down and whispering, “And I slept next to you.”

They had breakfast at a small café where Ryeowook insisted to pay for their meals this time. They ate in silence, Ryeowook stealing glances at the blonde who looked like he was absorbed in the pancakes he was eating.
They spent an entire night together and yet, Ryeowook still knew nothing about Donghae other than how his looked like – And boy, were they fine! Their conversation from the night before were just full of banters of what was going on and neither asked each other about their lives. Ryeowook wondered if this was all just a one-time thing. Donghae probably had the same thought as Ryeowook – That they were too different. But still, that didn’t stop Ryeowook from wanting to know more about Donghae.
“Hey Donghae,” Ryeowook called out.
Donghae looked up from his stack of pancakes, “Hmmm?”
Ryewoook offered him a sincere smile. “I… Uh… Thank you for last night.”
Donghae smiled and then continued eating, not saying anything else. Ryeowook’s heart skipped a beat at that handsome smile.
“Do you have any plans after this?” Donghae randomly asked Ryeowook.
Ryeowook shook his head, his heartbeat slightly beating faster than normal. Was Donghae going to ask him out?
Donghae nodded, “Good, you should get some rest.”
Ryeowook mentally sighed. He had his hopes up just for a second that Donghae was going to ask him out once again. He knew it. Donghae was trouble, trouble for his weak heart. Ryeowook was the type of person who easily fell for someone as long as they were nice to him. Of course, he was always also the one to get dumped first. Ryeowook’s poor heart was always broken by his past lovers and now, i
