Day XXX

"hey fany?"

you turned around with widened eyes, i could tell you were surprised that i approached you this time.

"what's wrong?"

"i-i just.." i shifted my feet. "could you stay with me until i fall asleep?"

you looked at the window and saw that it was storming outside,

making you let out a smile.

"its cute how you're scared of the lightning."

you carefully carried me; bridal style, laying me down on the mattress.

you tucked me into bed, sang me to sleep, caressing my hair ever so gently.

and when i was about to drift off to sleep, i heard you whisper,

"sleep well, tae. i love you."

kissing me softly on the forehead.
