Day XVIII

i had a nightmare.

i was sweating nonstop and panting so hard like i would run out of breath.

i sat down, holding my head as i try to breathe normally again.

"taengoo?"

i slowly opened my eyes, looking at where the soft and delicate voice came from.

"hey, its okay. i'm here."

she sat down next to me, caressing my hair with care.

"what are you doing here?"

i quietly asked, resting my forehead on her shoulder.

"shouldn't you be handling your company?"

i felt her holding my hand, gently rubbing her thumb on the back of my hand every once in awhile.

my uneasiness quickly faded away.

"come on, taeng" she let out a soft chuckle. "you're more important."
