There’s glass spread around them everywhere. Their fights are always so violent yet neither of them are trying to fix it.

He knows they should, that they’re going to cause harm one day. That one day the neighbor will knock on their door and notice the blood stains on the wall, that one day someone will call the police when yet another vase is smashed against the floor and cracks in two.

But Minseok doesn’t have any energy left in him to bother fixing it. It’s a minor flaw of theirs. They could be working on better things such as their next case, but they aren’t.

Luhan is leaning against the small table in their hallway, cracked mirror above it. Minseok is staring at him from the door way.

“Why?” he asks, voice low but steady. Luhan doesn’t say anything but reaches out his arms towards the smaller man. “Why do you always play with the police as if they can’t find you?”

He takes a step closer and Luhan lifts off the table to grab his hand and bring him in closer. Minseok is standing in between Luhan’s legs, staring at him as Luhan leans back again. For once, Minseok is the taller one, only by a little.

They’re staring at each other, eyes reading features and a faint smile appears on Minseok’s lips. Luhan places his hands on Minseok’s waist. Minseok is standing still.

“I promise I wont get caught,” Luhan says. “I’ll make sure you’ll be the one to kill me.”

Minseok’s small hands gently traces his jawbone as they fall into place under his jawline and lifts his head slightly so he can kiss the other’s full lips. He stays close when he lets go.

“Don’t be a fool,” he says and kisses Luhan’s lips once more.

Their fights are always so violent but at the end of the day, nothing comes between their love.
