You guys hadn’t been very busy lately as your last comeback was in the summer and the end of the year was fast approaching. However these were the times which you appreciated the most, when the normality you once had came creeping back and you were able to have fun knowing that you wouldn’t have to go to wake up early the next day to film a CF, or be on a variety show every other day. You got to relax and take time away from your idol life and hangout with your friends, boys and girls alike without the media skewing it into something it wasn’t. You were also able to go out under your managers supervision when not so many people were out on the streets and shop with you group. Despite this however there were times when you couldn’t wait to just perform on stage again and live out your dream. You knew that tomorrow you would be discussing your come back with the management team and hoped for a soul like feel this time as you wanted to show fans and haters alike that all of your members have talented

*"Whats the point in Y/N and Jisoo even being in the group, they never sing anyway"*

*"Yh, they should have just debuted in a dance group"*

*"Mira Unnies vocals are to die for, but I feel like Y/N should stick to what she calls dancing"*

*"Jisoo, D.A just stop your voices !"*

*"Interesting "singing" from the maknae line here"*

You: “Jisoo its fine" you said hugging her as she began tearing up at the comments

Siyoung : “Yh everyone in the company knows that our group has one of the best vocals in the industry”

Jisoo: “The fans don’t think so though,” she replied her puffy eyes drawn to the screen as her voice began shaking

You: “They’re not fans Jisoo, trust me” you said as you softly rubbed her back

To begin with SCD was meant to be just a vocal group no dance, no rap, just vocals. You guys excelled as trainees in the vocal field despite most of you not being recruited as vocals.  Your individual voices were constantly praised by your sunbaes for your own individual uniqueness but, the company then decided to introduce rap and dance to the group, lessening the focus on the rappers and dancers to continue singing. You guys still had great voices but the lack of lines in songs and concepts which rarely displayed your talents caused lot of backlash for “YG’s Rising Girl Group”.

You: “Jisoo put it on MBC, WGM starting soon” you said as you jumped onto the couch and snuggle next to the maknae under the blanket

Siyoung: “Guys its starting" she yelled so the rest of the house could hear her as she too went under the blanket and wrapped her arms around you, letting her head drop on your shoulder

You all stretched out the blanket and cozied next to each other. Autumn was almost over in Korea and winters were brutally cold!

ON THE TV : AT A CAFÉ MAKING CAKES FOR CUSTOMERS

Jackson: “Wait wait no,no,no you have to turn it” he laughed

Mira: “No, it’s not done yet didn’t you hear what the owner said” she laughed flicking flour at his face

Jackson: “Do you really wanna start this” he raised his eyebrow as he smirked at her

Mira: “Bring it on Wang” she said flicking more flour at his face

D.A: “Why are you guys so cheesy” she said scrunching up her face as she cringed

You: “Shhh” you said as you lightly smacking her knee, to invested in your Unnie and Jackson’s relationship to want to miss even a second

ON THE TV : AT “HOME” TALKING AT BREAKFAST

Jackon: “Today my mom’s flying in from China”

Mira: “Really that’s so nice, you must be really happy”

Jackson: “And I thought maybe, you could meet her” he said looking deep into Mira’s’ eyes

Mira: “Really, are you sure"

Jaxkson: "Yh she said she wants to meet you too"

Mira: "Ok yh I think it’ll be good”

Hayun: “You met his mom” she loudly asked in shock as none of you had known about this

Mira: “Yeah” she replied shyly

You all gave eachother the omg look you guys created in your groups as a secret to use in variety shows so people didn’t know what you were saying. It could signify lots of things but in this case… What the Hell!!

Mira: “yah don’t give eachother the look ok, I invented that look... it was on the show no biggie”

Siyoung: “huge biggie!”

Jisoo: “look, look!”

ON THE TV : PRIVATE INTERVIEW

Jacksons Mom: “She’s such a pretty girl, and so genuinely kind, she’s very good for Jackson, I wish that she was actually my daughter in law” she chuckled

Mira: “I had a feeling she would like me, even with the language barrier I’m glad that she didn’t misunderstand who I was”

All: “Awwwwww” you all said looking at the screen with puppy eyes

Jisoo: “What a cute episode!”

Mira: “So guys, I’ve got something to tell you” she said turning off the T.v

“What” you all said suspiciously smiling at her

Mira: “umm… me and Jackson”

“Yes” you all said starting to get excited

Mira: “Are kind of… umm…dating”

“WAHHH!” 

“Omg!!” 

“What is this!!”

“Finally!!”

You all screamed elated for your Unnie

Siyoung: “When did this happen!!”

She began telling you about how after filming last week they met up and he drove her to the place they first met and first started filming WGM, Seoul Forest, and asked her if she wanted to be his girlfriend.

Hayun: “So were you two meeting up before that?”

Mira: “Yh when we were free we’d meet up”

D.A: "So all this time I thought that you were just going to the studio to practice, you were secretly on dates with Jackson, ok I see how things are" she laughed

Siyoung: “I’m sorry but moms found a boyfriend” she said causing all of you to laugh and cringe simultaneously

Mira: “Y/N wake up we have the meeting with our management team today”

You: “Huh, oh nae” you said a you lazily started getting ready, you all finished quickly as you just threw your hair up and wore comfortable clothing with minimal makeup

You: “When’s the meeting starting”

Siyoung: ”10, weren’t you listening to oppa when he was telling us last week”

Mira: "no remember she was daydreaming about S.coups"

You: “haha” you replied sarcastically

D.A: “Who’s picking us up?”

Hayun: “I think Han Unnie is”

D.A: “What, no”  she said annoyed

You: “Why do you miss Yuk Oppa”

D.A: “Pfft, no” she replied unconvincingly

You: “Yh, sure” you said returning to your phone

D.A: “I mean it’s been only a week why would I miss someone after a week you know..”

You: “uhuh” you said secretly smiling but trying to seem uninterested in her mini rant

Manager Han: “girls are you ready?” she said coming into your dorm

D.A: “oh great” she rolled her eyes when she heard the woman’s voice

IN THE VAN 

D.A: “So is this job like a permanent thing or…?” she said talking to Manager Han from the back seat of the van

Manager Han: “Well it~”

D.A: “Because you can’t even speak Korean that well so how are you supposed to be a mana-“

You: “Unnie drop it”  you said nudging her 

English

You: “I'm sorry about her” you said looking over Mira’s seat to see if your manager was ok, through the rear view mirror

Manager Han: “It’s fine, she'll change her mind when she gets to know me” she smiled winking back at you

You arrived at the YG building and started leaving the van, the premises was surrounded by fans who were constantly about trying to see there idols

Fan:“Mira Unnie your so pretty!!!”

Fan: “Y/n noona I love you”

You all bowed and waved at the fans before going in, the buzz coming from them making you want to start recording and releasing music immediately. You always felt relaxed in the YG Building as it was the place where you practically grew up as a teen.

“Floor three” you said as you saw your manager tried to find out which floor management was on from her pre-made notes on her phone

“Thanks” she whispered

You began walking towards your managements office which was right next to Black pinks one. 

It saddened you when you saw BigBangs room as it reminded you of your cheery sunbaes, who were now doing there service, and who always no matter what supported there juniors in every way they could. You specifically were very close to Taeyang, you featured on his last mini album before entering the military, your name however was not disclosed to the fans. He even took you to a Korean bbq spot (with Jennie and GD) weeks before he left, in which he left you his words of wisdom before your debut since couldn’t be there to see it happen… 

Taeyang: "Remember stay humble, and love what you do cause not many people get to live this, make a legacy that you’ll be proud of when your my age and for the future foreign idols to aspire to follow  cause your opening so many gates right now and breaking so many stigmas about foreigners. There will be thousands of international fans out there looking up to you so do well and have fun okay”

You: "nae" you said as you respectfully bowed to him before going back to the studio to continue preparing for your first comeback

PRESENT DAY

You went in and started discussing your new comeback with your management team, along with Teddy as well, as he was eager to be a part of all your comebacks. The meeting lasted around two hours with discussions and creative differences arising from everyone about your new music.

You: “I was thinking more soul music rather than Hip-hop this time though" you said addressing one of the managements ideas

Teddy “Yh that’s a good idea actually, really show off your vocals this time round” he nodded “give the fans something more deep and personal”

Hayun: “Won’t that be too boring though?”

You: “No its something new that not a lot of idols do, or do well”

D.A: “I say we just stick with what we’ve been doing so far”

Lydia(song writer): “No that’s too safe Dao”

Mira: “Well its worked so far”

You: “That’s why we should do soul its new, its fresh” you replied to Lydia's comment trying to get her to agree with your idea

Hayun: “Look the soul vibe won’t work, it’s not what’s popular right now”

Jisoo: “We haven’t even tried it yet”

Teddy: “Since when have you guys followed what others do?”

You all debated what style to do and in the end decided on a fusion of Hip-pop R&B and Soul, despite arguing you guys knew it was just business and didn’t let it affect your friendship, knowing that as soon a you walked out of the room all tensions would be dropped.

Manager Han: “Should we go get lunch?”

Siyoung: “Yh I’m starving, should we get food from the café?“ the leader asked you all

All: “Yh sure” you all said.

At this time of day it would be full, so your manager went and collected what you guys wanted whilst you went to one of the hangout rooms in the company.

“Dao?” The male said as she approached you guys from the corridor

“Minho Oppa!” Jisoo smiled widely as she gave him hug

Mino: !Y/N ughh how have you been!” he said swinging you around happy to see you again after over a year

“Good!” you squealed as he swung you and the carefully dropped you back on the floor

Hayun: “When did you get back?”

Mino: “Yesterday” he said as he yawned and sat down with you guys

Mino had been intensively promoting in japan especially with a new underground rap group which sky rocketed his fame over there causing him to temporarily move to Tokyo. You and him were once thought to be dating by dispatch, due to the fact that you would often comment "cute thing" on each other’s social media ,which started off as a joke, and were seen hanging out in the same group of friends, in addition to that more fuel was added to the fire when his solo comeback album was released, it included a track titled "They don’t know" in which he rapped about a secret love, the English part caused the most speculation as to whether you two were dating because as he said...

"Yh I love her, yh she's foreign, no not asian,

I’m her prince charming,

We belong to the same family

but don't trip, we keep it clean"

Many fans speculated it being you due to previous ‘evidence’, and they assumed the family he was talking about was YG Family and the only non-Asian idol there was you. Your company discouraged you guys from commenting on each other social media as well as hanging out together for the sake of business, despite them themselves knowing that you two were just friends. 

You: “What were those lyrics about” you asked as you him as you him and Dao and Taehyun sat at the YG café in the evening when not many people were around

Mino: “It’s not about you pabo” he laughed as he chucked rice at you, aware about what dispatch and fans were claiming

You: “Yh I know, it’s about Geo” you bluntly replied reminding him that you knew of his relationship with his model girlfriend

You: “But what was the family bit about”

Mino: “I asked her to marry me” he said as he continued to eat his Bibimbap

You and D.A: “What!”

You: “You’re kidding right, you’ve been together for what 3 years!” you asked him shocked

D.A: “He’s kidding right” she asked Taehyun laughing in disbelief

Taehyun: “Nope” he chuckled

D.A: “You're gonna marry her?” she asked in a tone of disbelief and sadness

They never ended up getting married and one of the reasons he stayed in Japan for so long was to forget about her

“How have you guys been?” he asked as you all but specifically looking at Dao when he did

All: “Good” you all replied

Mino: “What about you?” he asked noticing that she didn’t reply

D.A: “I'm great” she said giving a meek smile

Manager Han: “Here’s your food”

Mino: “I've, uhh..." He looked at Dao who was just making circles on the table with her finger, "I've got to go now were discussing new promotions and all that so... um I’ll see you guys later” he said as he rubbed his neck and bowed at the manager coming his way.
