You: “You’re kidding no explain this again” Your stomach clenched at what Bobby had just said and

You could see Siyoung looking just as confused and quite frankly disgusted as you

Mino: “The CEO is doing everything for it not to leak but I don’t know how forgiving dispatch are gonna be”

Siyoung : “But why would he-“

Mino: *sigh* “I don’t know, he was drunk, really drunk”

You: “He was fine when I left though?”

Bobby: “After you left he started drinking, a lot...and they say I’m bad” he said shaking his head

You: “” you said aloud your palm firmly placed on your hand in distress

Lee Hi: “This isn’t a good year for us, any of us, the media has been on our backs since that whole Minho and Y/N thing”

*Ring* *Ring*

Your phone vibrating on the counter top diverted you from your aimless glare out of the window

Minho: “Y/N, it’s Hanbin, answer he hasn’t been answering anyone else”

You looked round seeing everyone staring at you, clearly wanting you to answer the call, complying with their stares angrily you grabbed your phone and walked out of the room resenting all of them for using you as a default to talk to BI

 ON THE PHONE

You: “What!” you send before he had a chance to say anything

B.I: “Are you ok?” he asked confused at your snappy tone

You: “Mm I’m fine. You?”  you replied trying to calm down and not let the sickening feeling you were currently experiencing overcome you

B.I: “We need to talk”

You: “We?” Really are you sure?” you replied bitterly

B.I: “Y/N I need you right now”

You: “Dont come to me with this bull!”

B.I: “What’s wrong with you!?”

You: “Me. ME!”

The others could hear you from the room at this point, the glass walls making no effort in shielding your conversation

B.I: “I need someone to talk to not an argument!”

You: “Fine lets talk, what happened after I left”

B.I: “ ...nothing”

You laughed

You: “You’re pathetic”

*Silence

B.I: “You know? Y/N come on I was out of it I dont remember anything”

You: “Stop just stop” you said your voice beginning to crack and your eyes with tears “I cant keep doing this”

B.I: “Y/N youre my best friend, please.”

You: “Best friend. Hanbin are you sure because it sure doesnt feel like that”

B.I: “Y/N you know you mean way more to me than that so please” his voice tendered “Y/N please trust me”

You: “I have. I have always backed you through everything but-

Hanbin: “Y/N we made a promise”

-Last Year-

You: “So you read gossip now?” you laughed causing him to turn away from you

B.I: “Everyone knows that gossip is always based on some truth” he spoke muffled as he put his hoodie on

You: “So, I’ll tell you the truth. No I don't like Minho”

B.I: “I never asked” he said raising an eyebrow trying to seem uninterested

You: “But that's what you were thinking” you grinned

You saw the corners of his mouth lift which he tried to hide but with no luck

You: “Ahhh see now you're relieved, you were worried I liked him”

B I: “And why would I be” he exclaimed putting up a defence

You: “I don't know, ask yourself that?” you laughed

B.I: “Hmm nope I dont have the answer” he said with a mocking look of confusion

You: “Remember when you guys were promoting in Japan”

B.I: “Mm that's when you first met Minho”

At that point you guys were still relatively new and just going to debut you're not sure how but you and Minho got close. His phone was broken and for a few days as it was being repaired he would use yours to talk to people. And one message always replayed in your head

-TEXT-

Minho: When are you guys coming back to seoul

B.I: Were promoting a month longer than expected so idk

Minho: Aah ok

Dude Y/n playing the drums in the practice room it's so funny 

B.i: You two are getting close right

Minho: Idk kinda

B.i: Minho do me a favour

Minho: Yh

B.i: Take care of y/n

Minho: Yeah of course dude

All the messages were in hangul but seeing your name made you question what they were talking about, which you found out as your Korean improved. 

You: "Take care of y/n"

B.i: “You read that?!”

You: “Hanbin, you were messaging from my phone, I read everything”

B.i: “Fair enough” he laughed

You: “Ok well from now on we believe each other when any gossip or rumour surfaces” 

B.i: “Ok but promise me this”

You turned to him

B.i: “Trust me. Before anyone else promise you'll always trust me”

You: “I promise”

-Present Day-

Hanbin: “Trust me”

You were holding your phone so tight it was trembling in your hands

You: “How. Tell me how. Cause right now thats the hardest thing for me to do.”

B.I: “Why are you doing this”

You: “I don't want to talk about this now, I- i need to think”

B.i: “Fine” he said coldly hanging up

You: “” you scream out causing an alarm from those inside

You were more than angry and more than upset a confusing mash of those two coiled inside, you felt that you could pass out at any moment and quite frankly you wouldn’t mind

Siyoung : “Do you wanna go home?” you hear a familiar voice say as you crouched back against the wall

You nodded your head

You went to get anything you’d left from inside the room before going back

Bobby: “Y/n” he said concerned, protectively and immediately walked over as you came in and pulled you by the shoulders into a hug. You buried your head in his chest trying your best not to cry

Siyoung : “We have to go, we still have our schedule and it’s not good to be dealing with this right now for any of us you heard her saying to Hi and Mino in the corner of the room

Mino: “Take care of her”

She nodded before coming your way

You still holding onto Bobby who was a great comfort at this point in time felt him loosening his grip on you, signalling the end of your hug which you reluctantly agreed to do so as well

-In the morning-

You were sitting at the kitchen counter where you had stayed the whole night watching dumb videos on youtube and scrolling through social media accounts

Siyoung : “You didn't sleep all night Y/N, we’re practicing the dance again today and we need to catch up,  you need the energy” she said taking a eat next to you and your head caringly

You: “I'm fine” you replied zombishly

Siyoung : “Honestly, I was thinking about it and it doesn't seem like something he would do, since when would hanbin ev-”

You: “But he did” you said cutting her off

Siyoung : “She could be making it up we don't know?”

There was a pause in your conversation in which neither of you wanted to continue but at the same time wanted to get your thoughts out

Siyoung : “Do you not trust him” she asked genuinely questioning what happened to your friendship

That word that somehow made it way back into conversation, ‘Trust’. The same word that somehow tied you to Hanbin

You: “You want me to be honest with you. I do trust him. I believe what he tells me over anyone else... anyone. I trust him more than I trust half our ing company Mira! ”

Siyoung : “So what has been happening with you guys lately,not being funny but you had such an amazing friendship and all of sudden it changed to you constantly being at eachother throats for petty reasons?”

You: “I don't know ok. I-i- don't know” 

Dao: “Admit it you like him” you hear her say as she comes into the kitchen startled by her entrance

You: “Uh you scared me!”

D.A: “Good” she smiled

Siyoung : “Were you listening to our conversation?”

D.A: “You weren't being very quiet”

You: “Just don't tell anyone Dao”

D.A: “What?,  That Hanbin potentially ually assaulted one of Korea's biggest girl group members, hmm not my kind of gossip thanks” she says going to the cupboard to grap a cup

Siyoung : “No one even knows if it's true”

D.A: “So why were you guys in the CEOs office then?”

Siyoung: “Rumours, gossip the usual

You: “And guess who's somehow centered around it all”

D.A: “No one believes half of what they say anyway don't worry about it”

You: “Mmm yeah” you replied in fake agreement

You: “”

Dao and Siyoung gave each other confused looks

You: “Yesterday he wanted to tell me something but I forced the conversation onto the party. What was he going to tell me? It seemed important or else why would he call me so late”

Dao: “That he's been secretly in love with you ever since you joined the company.”

You glared at Dao whose unnecessary comments were beginning to annoy you “How's Mino have you talked to him since you know he came back” you smirked

D.A: “Really funny, why don't you focus on this mess you've made of the company not what my non existent communication is with Mino”

You: “I didn't do anything to the company ok, no one here let's idols have any freedom and since i'm the only foreigner it's easy to put me in right?” you said finally letting out how you'd been feeling about all this bad media exposure

“Guess what i'm ing sick of it, try always being the one sticking out of the mass of thousands of idols during awards shows, where everyone waits for you to make a mistake to blow it up out of proportion. On top of that having one of my best friends being accused of being a ual predator, 3 other people in because we decided to be regular people and go out partying AND preparing for comeback which i can't even complete one freaking track of because something always comes up. So yeah, sorry for bringing the company down!”

Mira: “Give it a rest! All you guys do is argue!” she said coming into the kitchen to mediate the argument  

Mira: “Y/N Manager-Yuk Oppa called yesterday whilst YOU two were gone to say they're gonna start filming today for WGM”

You: “Today, thanks for giving me time to prepare, do you know who I’m paired with”

Mira: “No, you find out when they start filming, they're trying to be super secretive this time”

You nod in agreement kind of excited to have something to take away the thought of the terrible night you just had
