I think with you, I knew it was love. I knew it was love because I wasn't lonely. I wasn't desperate to look for a lover. I was honestly content with my dreams and visions for the future, completely focused on what the tomorrow hold, being in perfect order.

But everything became so abruptly disrupted when life and fate and the universe decided to bring you along into my little life. At first, of course you were the sunshine. The one to mend my bad days and to up my downs, giving source to my growing garden and light to my darkness. And then you became the world, and not until later I realized that the world came with its storms and rainfalls and volcanoes ready to explode and lightings waiting to strike.

It wasn't too late. I could've left, I really could have. I didn't, though. I stayed for the potential rainbows and of all people I knew there were going to be butterflies and flowers and falling stars and wishful dandelions, moving mountains and the beautiful oceans. I was willing and able to take it all in, take all of you in.

When you left, I was left with nothing. I never actually died, even though I wanted to. Yet, time has passed and I have learned to reconstruct a new world from the ashes of my broken pieces, one without you in it. I would like to believe that I have moved on, but all the love in the world is still about you.
