"In-Na ah! Wait for me!"

"Areum ah, neo waegeurae?"

"Emmm... In Na... Because it's Friday and tomorrow is Saturday... and obviously everyone shouldn't be working too hard in Saturday..."

"So what?" I said trying to make her talk a little bit faster because I was late for my work.

"Do you want to eat dinner with us in our restaurant?" she asked me unsure about her own question.

"But, it's Friday? We always have dinner together in Sunday, right? Ah arasseo, I won't ask you. Well okay, goodbye Areum! I'm late for my work!" I kissed her forehead and wave my hand to her.

"Eeeww gross!" she said while touching her forehead.

[Flashback]

Ever since my father got , everyone in my neighborhood started to pity our family. Trying to make me feel better with their smile, and sending me lots of food every week. But it didn't last long, and I knew that it would happen sooner or later. Everyone has their own problems, and they all got busy, and I accepted that for a reason. Everyone, except Areum's family

They taught me things. How to take care my father, to wash my own laundry, to cook, and others. But most importantly, they taught me to be stronger, because I'm the one who's responsible for my family, so I have to be stronger than a girl in my age. It took almost a year to adapt with all the circumstances. But after that, I started working in Areum's family restaurant for 2 years because I'm still 13 years old, and started working in another café until now because I have received more than enough compensation for all this years and I need to pay them back someday.

Besides all the part-time jobs I took and ignoring all the hardships I went through, I finished my high school year, I took the National College Entrance Examination, and fortunately I got accepted in a pretty good university with a scholarship. I knew it was my signal to continue pursuing my dream, and my opportunity to make a better living after I graduate.

After I got accepted, I knew that I need to study harder to maintain my scholarship every semester. Because all the adaptation trying to do my part-time jobs, studying to maintain my grades, and taking care of my family, in my second semester I didn't get the scholarship and it felt like hell. I worked harder even in holidays, but didn't forget to study even harder. And finally, I got the scholarship in my third semester.
