Breathe.*Somewhere unidentified.*
Papers were scattered on the floor as he threw his hands around angrily.
“WHERE IS HE!”
The head scientist shouted with rage. Won Geun. The owner of countless nicknames. None of which were good. “The crazy scientist. Mad man, Ice-box.” The scientist who was rumoured with having no compassion on experiments; be it human or animals. They compared him with Frankenstein. No one wanted to anger him and yet there he was. He rarely raised his voice. He rarely spoke but when he did people feared him.
“HE SHOULD BE BACK BY NOW!” Four scientists stood head bowed in front of his desk. Scared to meet his eyes, each one not knowing what had gone wrong. Knowing that Won Geun was shouting, they knew they were in deep. They watched as the mad scientist sat on his chair with his arms crossed and ragged breath. He closed his eyes and inhaled. Holding it for 5 seconds before exhaling. Calming himself down, he turned to meet his underlings.
“Explain.” He addressed the captain of the four, Shin Jin.
“Experiment 8888Kjy has vanished. There have been no sightings. No new Information. His tracking device has been disabled. The last sighting of it would be in Jeju where he had undergone his latest test of pain resistance. We do not know what has happened.” Shin Jin kept his eyes directed at the floor while Won Geuns jaw twitched in impatience.
“We need to find him. Use whatever means possible.” The four scientists bowed once and filed out the door while the crazy scientist sat silently. Thinking of all the possibilities of who could be a traitor.
“I can’t lose it.” He thought. “I’ve invested too much time in it.”
*Somewhere… in Daras’ boutique*
“There’s your change Miss, have a lovely day”
Dara smiled at the retreating customer. Business had always flourished in her little boutique however today… it seemed a little too busy… Dara scanned her customers and noticed that majority of their gazes met at the same corner of her boutique. A corner where a boy in all black were sitting with his expressionless face. Sighing, Dara glanced at him too. Several girls hovered in front of him, a few- she congratulated them mentally- tried to strike up a conversation with him. His reactions were always the same. He didn’t flinch at the sound of their voices or at the proximity of their closeness. She also noticed that he never made eye contact but always settles his gaze downwards. She sighed.<
