GD could feel the darkness take over him. He was willingly giving into that fmailiar blackness that he was taught to give into. He knew that if he applied just a little more pressure and with a quick flick of his wrist that Shin Jin would stop breathing. He had done this many times before. He had read and studied and executed all the knowledge on real life test subjects. He had all that experience and had never once felt hesitation because he never had the leisure of deciding whether or not he wanted to terminate someone. However, for the first time in his life GD finally wanted to kill someone... and the little shaky hand on his arm was causing him to hesitate. 

"GD-ah" He heard Dara whisper. "Lets go home eoh?" 

Dara was tugging on his sleeve but GD couldn't move. Shin Jins eyes were closed and his face was bloodied... but the small rise and exhale of his chest and the slow beating of his pulse from the side of his neck was a clear indication that he was still alive. 

"I need to kill him" GD's grip tightened on Shin Jins collar. "He knows you're alive and that you're important to me." GD's eyes met Daras worried ones "I need to protect you. If I don't kill him, they wont stop until they find you" Daras hands were still shaking and she used her good arm to caress the side of his face. 

"Do you trust me?" 

"With my life Dara" 

"I trust you with mine too GD. So if they do come after me, you'll be there right?" Dara softly smiled at him before removing her hand from his face and softly placed it on GDs hands which were choke holding Shin Jin. "Remember what I told you when I gave you Gaho? We need to do to others what we want them to do to us and even if that may cause us harm or heartbreak, we need to let life take its course. I promised to protect you. I know you dont fully understand now but this is my way of protecting you. Let's go home eoh?" Dara now placed both of her hands and encouraged GD to let go. 

GD just kept eye contact with Dara and he felt the darkness around him dissipitate as he stared into her innocent eyes. 

She makes the darkness go away. 

GD let go of Shin Jin and grabbed Daras hand and began to run. As they finally rounded the corner and came to the main road, GD led the way by turning left. 

"GD!" Dara huffed. "The way to our house is right" 

"We can't go home, they'll be there." 

"What?! What about Gaho?" GD slowed his pace as he heard Dara puff in exhaustion behind him. "And who's 'they'? " 

"They're called the eyes" GD took another turn. " They work under a man named Won Geun. He is a crazy scientist and i'm one of his eperiments. We call them the eyes because they see all. They are all connected one with another." 

"But how's that possible? I mean they all belong in different bodies." 

"They're smart. There's a formula which one of the scientists produced that allowed whoever consumed the elixir to be connected to anothers thoughts. They are a walking, living and breathing network." GD kept leading Dara down roads she was not familiar with and she noticed how he was keeping in the shadows. "Shin Jin. The man you did not permit me to kill, he's the head of the network, So although he was knocked out, those who are connected with him can see everything he sees. Like they are another version of him. They've all seen your face and
