Chapter 2

My Unusual Fangirl Life

Unlike any other fangirl, I have managed to keep calm and keep my mouth shut until they announced EXO's concert. As expected, at the announcement of the concert date, EXO-Ls are ecstatic. They gave different reactions, most of them exclaiming their lack of money to buy tickets and that they are going to see their husbands soon. My social media accounts' feed are full of reactions about the concert, and I was happy because I am now able to spazz with them. Keeping the announcement to myself is torture. The desire of wanting to spazz with my friends on Twitter is now released, as I keep on typing against my keyboard. This feels awesome. I can now breathe.

"Hello?" I said as I answered my phone.

"Ohmygodaimiexo'sgonnahaveaconcerthereohmygodwe'regonnaseethem!!!" My best friend, Sandra said through the phone, with me only catching the words exo and ohmygod.

"Sandy, I can't understand you. What?"

"I said we're gonna see EXO! OHMYGOOOOOD!" she squealed on the other line.

"Yes, ohmygod we're finally gonna see them! I can't wait!"

"I hope Minseok will notice me! I'm gonna make sure he does!"

"I'll make sure you, no, we do. Remember my parents?"

"Ohmygod! I forgot that they own AML! Are we having backstage passes?"

"I hope so, 'cos Dad said he'll make sure that I'll be present before, during and after the concert. Aaaaaahh!" I screamed. The excitement is getting in my system. I really couldn't wait!

"So that really means you're going to see them up close! Tag me along please!"

"Of course! I'll make sure you're with me because I don't know what might happen if I won't have someone to spazz with!"

"I'm so excited!!" she shouted on the other line.

"Me too! And oh, please don't tell anyone we'll be having backstage passes, you know how some people react," I laughed.

"Yes. You're the best! I hope Chanyeol falls in love with you at first sight," she teased.

"As if that'll happen! But I hope so!" I think I'm blushing. This isn't normal.

"We all hope so. Who doesn't want that to happen, right?"

"Right. But that's something that happens only in fanfics, Sandy. And the language barrier separates us."

"Then let's learn korean so we could talk to them," she said like it's the easiest thing to do.

"Well...." I hesitated. But I think it's worth the try. If we would want to interact with them, we should know korean, right? "Okay," I agreed.

"I'm going to tell my mom! The concert is still less than 2 months away, we can do this!"

"Okay then. I'll hung up now. See you!"

"Okay. See you!" then the phone call ended. This will be quite a difficult journey.

It'a been a month since EXO's concert was announced, and it's also been a month since we started taking Korean lessons. It was hard, since their way of speaking and sentence structure is entirely different from ours. Good thing I already know hangul, so writing wasn't that difficult. Our instructor is also an professional, so we understood a lot and now, Sandy and I could now converse in Korean. It might be different, but since we are determined to learn and that this is what we want, we easily mastered the basics. With only a month before the concert, we should take this seriously if we wanted to talk with the boys.

And yes, only a month left before the concert and every EXO-L in the country's getting hyped up. My Twitter timeline is going wild, along with different reactions from fans. My Instagram feed was filled of photos of concert tickets, in which the people I follow purchased. It was a once in a lifetime experience, everything should be saved for memories sake. As for me, I already got my concert ticket, and I thank my parents for putting me in the VIP section, with Sandra of course. My parents have gotten busier, and I miss them already. They are barely home, and when they are, they make sure to spend time with me. Mostly having family dinners and chatting when they're just lounging in the living room. I miss them already, but I know this project of theirs is important, I know, because I am a fan of their next act, and I am so sure that SM Entertainment gives the best concerts so I think the preparations for this are not easy to organize. Everything should be perfect, no mistakes are to be made.

I've ordered different EXO merchandise online, which I'll be using on the concert day. I bought EXO's official lightstick, which won't be sold here because they'll just be selling EXOlu'Xion lightsticks, which is just a regular lightstick. I'd also buy that, but I'd still want the official lightstick since it is prettier, for me though. Anyway, they're both EXO lightsticks so there isn't any problem with that. I also bought an EXOlu'Xion shirt, which has Chanyeol's name printed at the back. I also bought a Chanyeol blinking headband, which is just a crown with Chanyeol's name on it. Sandra and I also bought a Minseok and Chanyeol LED banner, which I do hope they would notice.

If my parents wanted the concert to be perfectly organized, I, as a fan, wanted to be prepared and ready for the concert. This is the first time I'm going to see them, so everything should be perfect.

It's the 19th of January. Only 4 days 'til EXO'luXion. I am getting anxious because in 2 days, they're gonna arrive, and I am going to see them then! My parents organized a dinner for the boys and the head of our company, and I am included in the invited guests. I guess that was what Dad meant when he said that I am going to be present even before the concert. The thing that made me more anxious is that Sandra cannot be there, since only executives and the boys and their staff are allowed. Since I am the daughter of the company owners, I am also invited. I normally have no interest in those things, but since it's EXO, I am going to attend this dinner and meet the boys. I AM GOING TO SEE THEM EARLIER THAN EXPECTED. OHMYGOD. I thought.

I woke up at the sound of my phone ringing. I checked the time on the clock on my bedside table. 8:35am. What the hell? I thought. I took my phone and looked the name of the person who ruined my sleep.

Mom calling...

I grunted.

"Mom, it's too early," I said through the phone.

"I know, but I would want you to know that the boys are here." And with that, I jolted awake. I sat on my bed. My heart beat is past the normal rate.

"They're here already? Ohmygod moooom!" I squealed.

"Now now, you go get ready if you want to see them. Or I'll let you sleep and just meet them for dinner," she calmly said. How can my mother be calm with all of this?

"I would like to see them now, Mom."

"Then go get your off your bed young lady and bathe!"

"Ma'am yes Ma'am! Tell Chanyeol, your future son-in-law to wait for meeee~" I happily said.

She just chuckled. "See you later Aimi."

"See you Mom!" The phone call ended, but I'm still stuck with what my mom said.

I'M GOING TO SEE EXO!!!
