“Should I call police to get the thugs arrested?” Shownu looked at you, worried. You shook your head, smiling, “no need, I don’t want to fuss you. Besides, they were just thugs; dealing with police will make it complicated.”

You pressed an icepack on the back of your head, wincing in pain. Everyone was gathering around you and you kept convincing them that it was not a big deal; but they disagreed, especially Shownu.

“Thankfully you only got a bruise,” Kihyun sighed, “I can’t imagine if they killed you,” he faked a sob. You laughed at him; he looked like an eomma who almost lost her daughter. You patted his shoulder, grinning, “I won’t die easily, eomma.”

“You can’t say like that when you’re already in grave, noona,” Changkyun spoke in sarcastic tone, crossing his arms. You clicked your tongue, “shut up.”

Hyungwon patted your shoulder, “you should thank him, Yoora-ya. If he didn’t notice you earlier, maybe we wouldn’t be there.”

“He did?” you raised one of your eyebrows.

Hyungwon nodded, “the siren trick was his idea too, I suggested to call police but it didn’t seem to be a good idea.”

“That’s right; it would take a while until police arrived. Fighting the thugs with bare hands would be risky too,” Jooheon added. “And I can’t imagine Hyungwon fighting. The thugs would break his bones in the first 5 minutes,” he cackled, gaining a whack from Hyungwon. “I know I'm skinny but I’m not weak!” Hyungwon frowned.

Minhyuk cleared his throat, “so… Changkyun is today’s MVP. Chukhaae!” he proclaimed, making a proud smile appeared on the maknae’s face. The others gave him applause while you just sat there, rolling your eyes.

“I’m the hawkeye!” Changkyun danced with weird moves, making everyone laughed. You shook your head, laughed a little. “Maknae is being a maknae,” Wonho commented, shaking his head in amusement. You nodded at Wonho’s remark, and then looked at Changkyun who was still dancing with hyper Minhyuk. You bit your lower lip, thinking how to return the favor.

Next morning.

You were tying your shoelaces when you felt a tap on your shoulder. You turned around to see Hyungwon behind you. Your heart skipped a beat, and your face warmed. “Morning,” he smiled.

“Morning, Hyungwon,” you smiled back at him.

“Do you mind if I walk you to office?” he asked you out of the blue, making you puzzled. You scrunched your brows, looking at him with “are you sure?” look.

“I don’t mind, actually… but don’t you have any schedule this morning?”

Hyungwon shook his head, “our schedule will be started at 11, so I still have time.”

You chuckled, “thanks for the offer but I can walk by myself.”

“What were you thinking? This is a golden chance but you just turned it down?” you thought, mentally facepalmed. Actually you were happy but you tried to keep your feet on the ground.

“Remember what happened yesterday?” he raised one of his brows, “for today, let me walk you to your office, just to ensure your safety.”

“Well… alright then,” you nodded, couldn’t refuse this time. A wide smile formed on your face, and then you walked with him to your office. It was another beautiful morning for you. The snow was falling slowly, cold wind blew towards you, but you felt warm. For a moment, you wished that your office was a little further.
