(Third Person P.O.V)

“This isn’t a date, okay?”

Yoongi just nodded his head at what Jimin had said as he ate the food that he ordered, but the younger one can see the amusement playing on those pretty shining eyes of his. Jimin sighed and took a bite of his own food. He doesn’t really get why it seems to him like they’ve gotten really close in the short amount of time that they spent with each other. It was unbelievable as he kept of thinking about it.

They were currently sitting inside a fast food chain, one where Jimin completely begged Yoongi to go to, both stuffing their face with food until the older noticed the other looking around uncomfortably.

“If you say that it is not a date, then it’s not. Don’t worry your pretty little face about something insignificant as that. I wouldn’t find this situation strange at all.” Yoongi said, a playful smile playing upon his lips. A tingle of something was sent all throughout Jimin’s body when his eyes landed on those tempting lips. The younger guy swallowed the lump starting to build up in his throat. “I was the one who asked you to spend the day with me, after all. So, you don’t have to worry about anyone seeing us together like this, Jiminie.”

Jimin nodded his head the just looked away from the older one’s lips and kept quiet as he continued to eat his food. After a few seconds, he was back into staring at his face again. Jimin was glad that Yoongi was busy with eating his food that he didn’t notice him staring freely at the other guy. That perfect jaw line of his, adorable nose, that pair of wonderful, shining, tantalizing dark brown eyes of his that seems to put him into a trance every time their eyes meet, and that tempting lips of his.

Why is it that everything about him makes me fall deeper for him? Can’t he just avoid me and let me forget my feelings for him? What am I even thinking about this? I know that I wouldn’t be able to do it, I’m just fooling myself if I think that I can easily forget Yoongi-hyung…

“Should I give you a quiz later?”

“Huh?” That voice made Jimin snap back into reality. “W-what do you mean, Yoongi-hyung?”

“Well, with the way how you study my face. I think you’ll get it perfect.” Jimin couldn’t help but look down, his face blushing furiously as the other gave him a playful smirk. The amusement was still on his eyes, that it made Jimin feel a little more nervous.
 

Just why was the other guy making him feel this way?

Jimin pouted unconsciously making the other guy start laughing at how cute he currently looked like. He frowned and crossed his arms again on his chest.  “Hyung! Stop laughing at me! Stop it!”

“S-sorry, Jiminnie.” Yoongi fought hard to contain his laughter. “You just looked too cute when I said that you were studying my face. The surprised look on your face was just epic.”

“In your dreams, hyung.” Jimin tried to retort back to him, trying to hide his cheeks that were already tainted red and the wild beating of his own heart. “W-why would I even s-study your face?”

The younger swallowed the lump on his throat again, before sighing. He can’t even look him in the eyes now, for god’s sake! A moment of silence passed between them until he heard Yoongi sigh that made Jimin look up to him. There was something on his face that the younger couldn’t even describe.

It was a look that would want to push Jimin into making him laugh or just even smile for a little. It was a look that he wouldn’t want to see on his hyung’s adorable baby face.

“Can I ask you a question? I want you to answer me honestly.”

“O-okay…”

“Do you think I should forget about Sunmi and look at someone who is more worthy to pursue and look at, Jiminie?” That question has caught Jimin off-guard, making the drumming of his heart beat much more wildly than he would’ve have wanted to. It was so loud that he couldn’t even hear his own thoughts.

It was Yoongi’s effect on his poor little heart.

“W-what do you mean, Yoongie-hyung?”

He sighed again. “Do you think that…”

“T-that?”

“That…” Jimin swallowed for whatever-time already because of how intense Yoongi’s gaze was on him, it was as if he wants to say something rather really important, but he can’t – or more likely don’t want to tell Jimin for the moment.

Yoongi sighed again. “Uh… never mind… Just forget that I ever said anything about it. My mind’s just in a mess right now.”

“If you really want her back just do everything that you can, hyung. Nothing’s really unachievable for people who wants to work hard to get something that they want, right? Fight for things that you know that could make your life happier, because that’s the only way you can remain happy and content with what you’ve got.” Jimin couldn’t help but sigh and place a hand above Yoongi’s. “You must know that if you keep on thinking about how other people would react or even what they will think about you, you’ll just be pressured to give up the things that could make your life happier. Everyone would really be reluctant to give up the things that makes them happy, right?”

“That sounds pretty selfish, Jiminie.”

“No. It’s not ‘selfish’ but being ‘possessive’ of what you believe should belong to you. If that’s what makes you happy then why would you be willing to give it to somebody? That’s like throwing away your favorite food instead of just eating it. If you get my logic.” Jimin said jokingly, but his little heart meant it very seriously, that it was sort of aching at this moment.

He may not say or even show it, but everything that he said were based on his experience after loving Yoongi for such a long time. The kind of love where he doesn’t really expect him to give it back, instead of just being happy seeing his Yoongi-hyung happy. Because to Jimin, Yoongi’s happiness is also his happiness. No one would ever want to see the person that they love being miserable now, would they?

Yoongi chuckled even though his smile didn’t reach his pretty, tantalizing eyes. “It’s still the same. That still sounds pretty selfish to me.”

“I totally disagree. For example, if I am involved in a big and really serious relationship, is it selfish if I expect my partner to be completely faithful to me? Or if ever, wouldn’t I want my partner to love only me and expect them to not look at someone else?”

In a blink, sadness passed by Yoongi’s eyes that made Jimin feel a little guilty about what he just said. But it was too late to take it back now. “We’re talking about past relationship…” then the older guy’s eyes returned to the way it usually is. “How about you, Jiminie? Would it be okay with you to share the person that you love with someone else, if ever it happen to you? Or if you had been my lover, if ever, would you expect me to be truly faithful to you and trust that I wouldn’t look at someone else?”
