Just a boring chapter~ T__T

“Appa, where are we going?” The little Daehyun asked to his father who was driving. The middle-age man glanced at the back before focusing on the road again.

“We are going to Busan, dear. We will playing at the beach later. Are you excited?” The father answered his little boy while smiling warmly to him.

“Really? Wow~ Daedae loves beach! Are they have many foods there too, appa?”

“Of course. Appa and mommy will buy any foods that you wants. Except seafood.” His father chuckled at his son’s obsession towards food. Like himself. Meanwhile, his wife was rolling her eyes as she couldn’t believe their son takes after his father.

“Ah why~~? Daedae was planning to eat crab. Daedae’s friends said they was good!” He whined as a protest.

“You can’t, Daehyunie. Or else Daehyunie would have trouble later. Mommy didn’t want that happen at the first place.” This time his mother talked as she gives her son a warning.

The incident was still vivid in her memory where Daehyun accidentally eats seafood when he was 4 at his nursery. The little boy was having trouble to breath properly and being admitted to the hospital almost a week. It was relieve that nothing happened other than it. She thought she would losing her own child when the owner of the nursery called her along with a tense voice. That was makes her to take a final decision to stop working and be a fulltime housewife just to raise Daehyun. Her husband couldn’t said no as he also worried to death about their child.

“Mommy~” Daehyun pouted and begins to sulk at the back. He slumped his shoulder while fidgeting with his teddy bear in the car. His mother sighed seeing this.

“How about cheesecake, Daedae? You likes it a lot, right? Appa will buy for you if you’re obedient to your mommy.” Hearing his favourite cake making Daehyun’s eyes lit up in seconds as he smiled brightly.

“Really??”

“Honey… there’s no good with too much sweet.”

“Just let him be. He can’t eat seafood and now you forbidden him having cheesecake? How cruel mommy, right Daedae?”

“That’s true, appa! Mommy~ Let Daedae have cheesecake? Please, please, pretty please with my lovely cheesecake? Mommy also the most beautiful woman Daedae ever met!”

His father couldn’t hold his laughter as he swears that Daehyun was too cute right now and become more cute when he begged to his mother over something that he wanted badly. He even dare to praise his wife like that.

“Aish… you’re no different with appa. Cheesy!” His mother huffed in defeat. Too much cheesecake until it rubbed to their mind with the chessy talking. The little Daehyun was cheering loudly before he leaned forward to the front and kissed his mother’s cheek with full of love as a thanks. His mother chuckled at him as she returned the kiss while smiling to her son.

Daehyun was walking peacefully to the market nearest his house as he wanted to do some grocery shop or else he might die in starvation. After being busy with his school and works, he doesn’t have a time to check on his fridge whether he have anything to eat or not until this morning. He found nothing inside the cabinet and didn’t wait too long to change his clothes before goes to find something to eat.

As he reached there, he immediately makes his step towards the instant food section and taking out some packets of spicy ramen. Daehyun then walked to the fridge to purchase a few milks to drink later. He closed the fridge back but a little force stopped him doing that. He averted his gaze on his side and found no one as he frowned.

“Hyung! Can you get me the milk up there?” A little boy’s voice managed to get his attention as Daehyun looked down and wore a surprise expression when he recognized the little boy.

“Jaehwanie?”

“Hyung~ Jaejae want that milk”

“Oh… sorry. What’s milk, little boy?” Daehyun crouched to his level and put down his basket on the floor.

“Strawberry milk! Jaejae love strawberry milk!” Jaehwan beamed excitedly while Daehyun found he was too cute and feels like wanted to pinch the little boy’s cheek which he did.

“How about hyung held you up and you get them by yourself?” The blonde boy held out his hands. Jaehwan was immediately agreed as Daehyun lifted the little boy and helping him to take out one of the strawberry milk.

“Jaehwan-ah? Where are you?”

“Noona! Jaejae is here!” Jaehwan shouted to the voice that calling for him.

“Jae- Oh? Daehyun?”

“It’s you Barbie. No wonder I felt familiar with the voice. You know Jaehwan?”

“It’s supposed me to ask you, stupid Busan. How the hell Jaehwan in your arm?” Youngjae threw the question back to the blonde boy.

“Noona! Jaejae asking hyung to get strawberry milk. Hyung help Jaejae.” Jaehwan showed Youngjae the strawberry milk in his small hand happily.

Daehyun was squealed at his cuteness. The princess approached them as she silently amused seeing how Daehyun smiled sincerely towards the little boy in his arm. She also was quiet amazed how comfortable Jaehwan in those muscle arm when it usually hard enough for new people to get hold on her uncle’s son.

“Jaejae-ah. You’re not supposed to trust any stranger. What if he have a bad intention? He helped you and bring you to other place. Jaejae wouldn’t met appa and mommy anymore.”

“Are you saying I’m bad people, Barbie?”

“I’m not. I was teaching him, stupid. Fortunately, it was you that he met.”

“No. Hyung is not bad people. Appa said that if someone help Jaejae, he was a good person. And Jaejae should thanks to him. Hyung is not stranger too.”

“Why? You had met hyung before?” Youngjae frowned. Daehyun was smirking to the princess.

“Jaejae met hyung at hospital. Hyung making Jaejae cried because Jaejae fall.”

“He made you cried?! Then he’s bad people Jaejae-ah~”

“Yah! I promise him an ice cream in return and I was going to buy now.” Daehyun said to defense himself when Youngjae looked at him with an accused face.

“Whatever. Let’s go Jaejae.”

Daehyun set the little boy to the ground on his small feet to let him walked by his own as he takes his basket just now. Then he walked to the counter to pay his things. Youngjae followed him soon while holding Jaehwan’s hand as she also needs to pay the things she got for the toddler and her mother’s grocery list. The cashier was smiling towards the couple as she scanned the things carefully. 

“Is she your wife?” The cashier purposely started the conversation with Daehyun which later making the blonde boy widened his eyes.

“W-what? This girl? My wife? No way!” Daehyun had pointed to Youngjae who was standing beside him with Jaehwan in her arm, playing with his toy. Obviously didn’t noticed the question as she was too focus on the little boy’s talking.

“It’s no? Ah… I’m sorry then. I thought she was your wife as she held the cute boy there. He looks like you.” The cashier apologized. She handed Daehyun his plastic bag.

“No. I’m high schooler. There’s no way that boy is my child.” Daehyun frowned as he takes the plastic bag while chuckling a little. He thought the cashier was saying nonsense thing. He nodded a bit as a sign to leave as she proceeds with Youngjae’s thing. He waited for them at the outside.

“I thought you had leave.” Youngjae appeared. Both of her hands are full with the plastic bags while she told Jaehwan to hold the hem of her baggy shirt.

“Where are you going after this?” Daehyun asked.

“Home. Why?”

“Let’s go to the park. I have to fulfill my promise to Jaehwanie.” Daehyun crouched down to the toddler’s level once again.

“Jaehwanie… come here. Hyung gives you a ride on my shoulder.” Jaehwan cheered loudly as Daehyun raised him up to his shoulder and asking the toddler to hold his finger tightly.

“Hey, you know. He can walk.” Youngjae interrupts.

“I’m afraid you lose him if you asked him to hold your shirt.” After saying that, the blonde started his walk to the park, leaving Youngjae no choice but to follow him. Jaehwan giggled happily when Daehyun spinning around playfully.

Youngjae was silently watching the handsome boy played with Jaehwan as Daehyun keep using the spoon like an aeroplane to feed the toddler with the ice cream that he bought. Then he would smooching the toddler’s cheek when he couldn’t help but to fall on his cuteness which making Jaehwan returned the kiss on Daehyun’s lip. At first, the blonde was startled and managed to make Youngjae burst into laughter with his red tomato face. As the princess explained that it was kind of Jaehwan’s affection towards the people as it means the toddler likes him, he was soon get adapted with the kiss.

“I think you will be a great father later.” Youngjae commented her observation. Daehyun turned to look at the princess and frowning.

“It’s weird but thanks for the compliment.” Daehyun chuckled.

The princess was rolling her eyes but soon returned with a happy smile. The blonde was stunned as he thought Youngjae was looks more beautiful with those smile on her gorgeous face. He would not dare to admit it but he secretly likes it in his thumping heart. What's wrong with me, huh? On the other side, Youngjae was looking down on her lap because she feels her face would become bright red if Daehyun continued to stare on her like that. She cleared loudly.

“Uh… Have you ready for the competition?” Youngjae tried to make the situation less awkward. The blonde held a breath before letting it out slowly.

“I’m not sure… but hey, let’s try our best hmm?” Daehyun said. Youngjae nodded to that as something caught on her eyes on Daehyun’s neck which making her curious about it. She never saw it before and suddenly feels nervous if Daehyun had a girlfriend or not.

“It was beautiful necklace there. Who give it to you?”

Daehyun who was playing with Jaehwan on his lap, stopped whatever he’s doing as he frowned in confusion before Youngjae gestured on the necklace around his neck. His hand unconsciously touched the silver necklace which engraved ‘JDH’ on it. He flashed his charming smile to Youngjae without knowing it makes the princess’s heart beating in a fast way.

“I don’t know. I wore it since I’m a little boy. My parents… maybe?” Daehyun said unsure while titling his head. The necklace managed to get Jaehwan’s attention as he played it with his small fingers. Daehyun had to prevent him from putting it on his mouth by holding Jaehwan's hand before wiping the necklace that coated with saliva using the tissue. Youngjae let out a quite laugh when the toddler tried his attempt once again and Daehyun warned him with his eyes. But the toddler just found it was funny as he giggled.

“Don’t you want to find them?”

“Of course. It’s just I don’t know where to start. Korea is a big country, you know. But…”

“What?”

“Lately… I’m always dreaming of someone. And I’m sure it was my parents. Sadly, I couldn’t see their face. It’s my first time after this years… and I…” Daehyun doesn’t know how to describe his feelings right now as he was confused. Youngjae put her hand on his shoulder and squeezed it a little in comfort.

“Hey, don’t push yourself. You will remember them one day. Trust me. Maybe you’re Jaehwanie’s brother. Who knows, right?” Youngjae joked as the blonde rolled his eyes before he laughed.

“Jaejae, do you want hyung become your brother?” The princess asked to the toddler playfully. Jaehwan looked up from the necklace that he played to Youngjae and then turned his eyes to Daehyun. The blonde decided to hear his answer as Daehyun watched it amusedly.

“Isn’t hyung Youngjae noona’s boyfriend? Daehyun hyung can’t be Jaejae’s brother. It will hurts noona. Jaejae doesn’t like it.” The toddler formed a pout on his mouth cutely. Meanwhile, the couple were flustered hearing the boyfriend matter.

“Aigoo… you’re kind boy. But Jaejae-ah, Daehyun hyung is not noona’s boyfriend. We are only friends. Like Jongup hyung and Naeun noona.” Youngjae explained as she tried hard to mask her nervous expression. It kind of hurt her heart a little, not be able to tell the blonde that she had other feelings towards him.

“Really? But Jaejae wanted Daehyun hyung become your boyfriend. He’s a cool and handsome! He played with Jaejae well. Jaejae loves Daehyun hyung!” The toddler beamed happily before his mouth let out a yawn. He blinked as the tears formed in his eyes because of the sleepiness. Being a 3 years old baby, it was normal if he was tired after playing so much with Daehyun.

“Aigoo… aigoo… Look at you. You’re sleepy.” Daehyun cooed at the cuteness. He lost counts how many times he squealed looking at the cute toddler. He can’t help because he loves kid so much. Youngjae glanced at her watch which showing it was 11 in the morning.

“It was his nap time. No wonder. Let’s go home, Jaejae.” Youngjae said as she stood up and straightened out her baggy shirt. Daehyun agreed as he stood up too with Jaehwan put on his head on the older’s shoulder comfortably before his eyes dropped sleepily. His small fingers was gripping on Daehyun's black shirt for support.

“Are you okay to carry him? You had been holding him since the market. He’s heavy.” Youngjae asked with a concern face.

“It’s okay. He’s not that heavy. Plus, my muscles doesn’t make for nothing, Barbie.” He smirked as the princess scoffed at the nickname and taking Daehyun’s thing on the bench. The blonde laughed seeing the annoyed face of Youngjae.
