"Sorry again for what happened..." He rubbed the back of his neck, pacing back and forth beside the bed you shared with him.

She laughed. "Don't worry about it... It was only a stupid mistake."

"Sorry, she can be pretty careless sometimes."

"Don't worry about it Oppa, it probably won't happen for a while. I gotta go get ready for bed now, bye!"

"Alright, bye." He hung up the phone, letting out a deep frusturated sigh as he turned to you, his girlfriend whom he had been dating for the past 5 years, sitting on the bed with your legs crossed, staring at him with your big eyes which he didn't bother looking at. "I'm going to get water." Mingyu bluntly said. You quickly rushed to the door.

"I'll get it." Coming back with a glass of water, he was already in bed pretending to sleep. You slowly placed the glass of water on the night stand and waited silently.

"Don't look at me." He grumbled. You slowly walked away to your side of the bed, getting in the blanket and faced him. He turned his back away from you. You were shocked honestly. Ever since the two of you had first slept in the same bed together, neither of you ever turned your backs to each other. You let out a barely audible sigh. Of course you did wrong, but was it completly your fault? No it wasn't. You were his girlfriend, not some girl whom he had been calling every sinlgle night for the past month.

Tonight was the night he was supposed to see her again. However, the both of you had accidently grabbed each other's phones before heading out to different places. Since Mingyu always had his phone on silent, you couldn't hear the ring in your bag. Usually, he would feel the vibration from his back pocket so it wasn't necessary for him to constantly check his phone.

You on the other hand had always put your phone's ringer on loud. Since you never really look at your smart phone, which Mingyu bouth you as a 4 year anniversary present, you usually brought it everywhere with you but in a purse filled with candy and other neccessary items that had apparently muted the vibration sounds of the phone. There were times where you had forgotten your phone.

You couldn't get Mingyu's yelling voice out of your head. It was the first time he had actually yelled at you.

You saw the sun starting to set as you exited the cafe after meeting up with your friend Soonyoung, or Hoshi which he goes by. He had baked you a cake for your birthday which was today. The cafe was starting to get busy, so Hoshi had to get back to work. Hoshi had offered to drive you home which you accepcted, but soon declined because of how busy the cafe was getting. They really needed him to work and couldn't afford for him to step out for a second.

You fished your phone out to call Mingyu to pick you up since he was the one with a car. "How stupid of me!" You stared at the phone in your hands. "How could I have taken his phone by accident?" You shruggged it off and turned the screen on. Your heart dropped at all of the messages and missed calls from 'her', Mingyu's new girlfriend that he has been paying a lot of attention to lately, not caring about you one bit.

You scrolled through all of the messages on the lockscreen.

'Oppa! I'm so excited for tonight!' 'Oppa! What do you want me to wear for our date tonight?' 'Oppa! Why aren't you answering my phone calls?' 'Oppa, are you ignoring me?' 'Ooppaaaa~ng' 'I'm getting mad oppa'. 'Oppa, our date was supposed to be 30 minutes ago!' A tear rolled down your cheeck as you scrolled through what seemed like endless messages.
