9 year old Ahn Younghee sat in the backseat of her dad's car.

Her parents, divorced, sat in the front seats. Although they lived in seperate houses and juggled Younghee back and forth, there were those special days where they would put their problems aside and come together for the sake of their precious daughter.

The three were headed to a festival that Younghee had been dying to go to, even though her parents showed it to her last week. Excited, Youngmi just couldn't stay still. The car ride was long since it was far away from their hometown.

The atmosphere was different, Younghee didn't know why, she only knew about the different feel. However, she decided to shake it off. Being the bubbly girl she was, she smiled and giggled in her seat. She softly sang and hummed her favorite songs.

"Will you just be quite and sit still for just a moment?! God you're annoying..." Her mom mumbled the last part.

"She gets this from you, if I didn't have that thing with you then I wouldn't have such an annoying hyperactive troublesome burden..." Her dad spat back. Younghee's parents were bickering 'quietly' again. She softly sighed to her self.

"Ne," she replied. Although they though they were quiet, she could hear them loud and clear. Her parents occasionally said things in that same context, but nothing ever too harsh like what they just said. And after, they would immediately apologize and try to liven up the mood. However this time, none of that happened.

After another hour of driving, her dad pulled up to the back of a convience store that seemed as if it was in the middle of no where. The two adults looked at each other. "Let's get icecream before we continue the drive to the Dragon Festival!" Her dad spoke. They all got out of the car and walked to the front of the store.

"Ah, we forgot out phones and wallets in the car, Younghee, sit here on the steps and don't move until we come back okay?" Younghee's mom said. Younghee nodded and took a seat on the steps of the store. The two adults quickly walked back into the car which was behind the store.

They never came back.

The car drove off, leaving Younghee, alone.
