A Solution for Jealousy

Alljong One-Shot Collection (Song Based) {DISCONTINUED please look @ "About Me" in profile for further info}

"Hey Sungjong, who do you like?"

"Huh?! Where did that come from?!" Sungjong yelled back, blushing bright red.

"Well? Spit it out!"

"No way! Why would I?!" Sungjong tried to run away from the bombarding teasing from his two friends but ended up getting cornered between said friends, his desk, and a wall. All the poor boy could do was blush and retort against the teasing.

Honestly, Myungsoo found the conversation irritating. 'If the boy didn't want to spit it out then leave him alone!' he wanted to yell but in reality he was listening to each and every single word from that conversation.

He was curious, it couldn't be helped that he wanted to know who his crush liked. Maybe Sungjong has never had a crush, or maybe he was stuck in unrequited love like he is. Questions flooded his mind but he could never ask them, so he ended up grumbling into his scarf.

If the latter was true, then jealousy was really hitting him hard right now.

"Dude, you okay?" Woohyun asked while walking over to his desk.

"Just... peachy!" Myungsoo said through gritted teeth, when really he wanted to scream 'no'.

"I did it!"

Myungsoo paused from his game of volleyball with his friends and looked over to the otherside of the court.

"Good job Sungjongie!" Sungjong's friend congratulated as they continued playing tennis. Sungjong smiled and did a v-sign with his right hand before joining back in. He couldn't help but smile at the cute sight before shaking his head and sighing.

Sungjong was too innocent and cute for his own good! He could be snatched away from Myungsoo at any moment and all that he could do would be nothing. Myungsoo knew that he had to confess soon for that reason.

"I... love you..." Myungsoo practiced by murmuring, but he could already feel his face burning.

"That's no good...!" he sighed in defeat.

"Myungsoo! Get it!"

At the shout, he looked up dully only to get a volleyball smacked right into his face. The impact was hard enough to cause him to fall down onto his back and get him a bloody nose.

Stupid stupid stupid jealousy! maybe call it an over-exaggerated thing to do, but Myungsoo honestly felt like crying, making him cover his eyes with his arm as his nose bled.

He doesn't exactly remember when he fell for Sungjong but the way his heart constricted painfully at the thought of the boy dating someone else only told him that he fell hard (talk about coincidental). Now if only he could gather the courage to confess to him and make him his boyfriend...

"...y gosh, are you oka-?! Wait, why are you crying Myungsoo?! Does it hurt that much?!"

"Am not! Shut up Hoya!"

"Ooh, better get you to the nurse."

He suddenly felt himself get lift up like an airplane jokingly by Hoya and Woohyun and yelled at them to stop it.

Sungjong blinked at what just happened on the volleyball court, wondering just what the heck is going on as Sungyeol and Dongwoo chatted away.

"What are they doing..."

"I dunno, it looks kinda fun..."

Myungsoo was never a morning person. He would always walk to class while yawning. Although when he reached the entrance to his classroom, he saw Sungjong walking there too with a cowlick on the side of his head, pausing right behind the closed doors to yawn (adorably).

Now this was a rare sight, seeing how Sungjong was always bouncing with energy in the morning. He inwardly shrugged it off, thinking that it was just studying for today's test getting to the boy.

"Good morning, Sungjong. You got bedhead," Myungsoo said, pointing to the side of his head to act as a mirror to Sungjong. He felt proud for finally saying something to him for the first time.

The younger blinked innocently before reaching to the side of his head and blushing a light pink at the discovery of the cowlick.

Cute... Myungsoo couldn't help but smile and stare at the way Sungjong fixed his cowlick in a hurry. Then the boy did something extremely unfair.

"Oops... it's our little secret, okay?" Sungjong giggled shyly with a finger over his lips. He made a 'shh' sound before entering their classroom, leaving Myungsoo to feel like a complete weirdo as he felt his entire face burn, making him cover his face to try and hide it. The weather was no longer freezing.

His mind went into complete fluff mode as he imagined dancing around with a cute cartoon panda and a cute cartoon polar bear.

He has always thought about the 'what if's when it came to thinking about if Sungjong liked someone else.

Well, jealousy would always get to Myungsoo and he would just wish whoever Sungjong liked ended up dating someone else. Was that horrible? Well obviously Myungsoo could never disagree with that.

I guess that I'm that hopeless, horrible kind of guy that would wish your relationship with whoever it is ends up with a terrible break up and you would never love them again... but images of a crying Sungjong flooded into his mind, so he could never wish that.

Even though jealousy ate him away, he could never wish for Sungjong to end up crying and begging for the one he loved to come back, He could never wish for that kind of unhappiness.

Myungsoo pouted as he continued to think about all the possible scenarios when in reality school was over and everyone in the classroom had left, in fact, clubs were almost over now too. That's when it struck him.

The courage he so desparately needed to confess to Sungjong.

If he didn't want Sungjong crying over an unrequited love or a broken relationship, he needed to gather up every bit of courage he had and confess to him now.

So he did.

He stood up from his desk and ran out of the classroom. Myungsoo ran around the school building, trying to look for Sungjong and finally finding the boy walking out of a classroom on the floor below their classroom's floor.

"W-Wait! Sungjong!" he slowly came to a stop and didn't realize how out of breath he was.

Sungjong stopped and turned around, blinking innocently, "Myungsoo? What is it?"

Myungsoo regained his posture and spoke with a clear voice.

"I have something to tell you after school tomorrow at 4:10. Please come to this classroom!"

He blinked innocently again before nodding.

If, just if, maybe even a huge if, we go out, I would make you happy everyday. You would smile more than if your went out with someone else.

Myungsoo looked at his watch, seeing that it was five minutes before they would actually meet, but he couldn't wait. He heard shuffling in the classroom and wished himself good luck before opening the classroom door.

"Am I not good enough?"

I'd like to make a request :)
Perfect by One Direction
Pairing: MyungJong
Prompt: What really happens behind the cameras. (Like even though MJ shippers feels that MJ lacks interaction in Showtime and they look like they're growing apart, things are completely different when there aren't any cameras anymore)
