Ba-Chan

Dear Kimmy

'It's so wonderful tonight.' Her earbuds blasted her KPOP playlist. Currently she was listening to B1A4 Wonderful Tonight.

She reached into her satchel and grabbed her new journal, courtsey of her mom, who always encouraged her writing ability.

''Miss, would you be eating the chicken or fish?'' the stewardess inquired.

''Chicken.'' She said automatically before focusing back on her  book.

'How do I start this?'

'What would I write her?'

'It's not like she'll get the letter, ...unless Heaven accepted letters.' She bit her lip and banished the immediate thoughts away.

She wouldn't get depressed now, she was on her way to Seoul for a new start.

'This has to go well.'

She looked out the window and marvelled at the vast clouds.

''Ai-chan..'' was all she heard before she was smoothered in another hug.

''Ano Imu.....Su Mae Ba-chan...nice to see you.'' She grinned. The woman was 5'6 , light brown hair cut in waves and wore a blue dress.

''Come on...I have your room set up at the condo...you'll be living with me at my place in Cheomdamdong...you'll love it''

Aileen's mother Yuki Sora met Kim Su Mae their first year at college. They were both foreign exchange students whom, due to influx of freshmen, were in the male side of the dormitory. They had travelled hundreds of miles to attend Cambridge university, Yuki was majoring her Masters degree in the Arts, mainly Literature while Su Mae was focused on the Sciences, she was a pre-med student.

Kim Su Mae didn't have any children, but she was a passionate doctor who was the director of one of the prestigious hospitals in Cheomdamdong. Aileen loved writing and learning about the anatomy, her father was a doctor himself, who owned his own private practive.

It was by coincidence Ren met Yuki through Su Mae at the campus coffee house.

''Your parents tell me you've been in the emotional hole.'' Su Mae deadpanned.

Aileen smiled and followed her Aunt to the conveyor belt, grabbing the red suitcase before walking to the exit of Incheon Airport.

''A lot of things have happened Ba-chan, I just want to forget it.'' She murmured.

''No worries kiddo, I'm sure I'd be like are, if I ever lost your mum. She's been my bffl for nearly 25 years.'' Su Mae hugged her goddaughter and pulled her towards the Bentley that awaited them.

Ai gaped.

Su Mae chuckled. ''We always travel in style kid.''

She shivered as she stepped out into the cool air.

'Time to start my life.'

Chapter 9: I will miss this story ,it was soooooooooo good! I love how she wanted to keep in touch with her best friend even if she was gone ,it must have really helped in the grieving process for her by writing to her about what was going on in her life and it helped her a lot . It's sad when we have a part of us die but we need to go on with our life and that is what she did by writing to Kimmy .Glad that everything has worked out for her and that she can move on ,she will still miss Kimmy but the hurt is slowly going away<3

Chapter 4: Interesting story and I Like it so far ...We all have that one person in our lives that know everything about us and has shared all kinds of adventures with us and it is hard when something happens to them and they are not there anymore and when good or bad news happens the firs thing you do is either call or test them but then realize they are no longer there :( I think the move and her writing letters to her friend will help in the grieving process...Looking forward to reading more ...
