What happens when your heart breaks.
Dear Kimmy''God if you hear me right now, I'm happy,'' Aileen murmered as she sat cross-legged on the cold hard ground, her umbrella lay forgotten nearby as the rain poured. She was cold but she was already numb.
''Correction---'' she hiccuped.
''She's not in pain anymore from the needles and the chemo...-- ''
''She doesn't have to suffer anymore...but I've taken her place.''
''I'm suffering now.'' She grabbed the edge of her coat as her teeth began to chatter violently.
Kimmy was gone.
Kimmy who wasn't even 21, barely 18. Left her.
She cried as if she were a mother losing a child.
In a way she was, her friend was a child, she hadn't been 18 that long.
She screamed.
'This hurts so much ...'' She sobbed clutching her chest,as if a hot poker was driven through it.
''Kimmy...why'd you have to go...''
''We didn't get to go on the epic road trip to Europe...''
''You said you'd never leave me.'' She whispered.
''It's time to go honey.'' Her mother appeared next to her and held her by the waist as she wobbled dangerously on her legs before standing up.
Her weight on her mother, she was led by to the car as her father kept his front , so she wouldn't see the tear stains on his face.
