Act of Uncertainties

Hidden In Plane Sight

“I don’t know why I have to do this.” Chan Yeol crossed his arms in front of his chest fumingly. He leaned against the caged fence door of the extremely slow elevator, glaring slightly at Yerin who was staring at him with some sort of superiority he couldn’t fight against.   “Because what you did and said to Jimin was really uncalled for. And I am pretty sure you wouldn’t want to apologize in front of the others, so might as well do it in private,” Yerin answered, feeling the elevator touch the ground floor. She pushed Chan Yeol and herself out of the elevator and entered that eerie area once again.   “I don’t even see the need for an apology, but since we’re down here anyway-” Chan Yeol turned to her with a grin, ready to turn on his charms.   Yerin was still focused and did not let Chan Yeol’s firm biceps or his luring lips distract her. She quickly pushed past him to keep track of what she should be doing. “Park Jimin!” She called out loudly, just to make it clear to Chan Yeol she wouldn’t fall for his temptations.   “You don’t have to scream. He can hear you,” Chan Yeol said with a lazy eye roll. Until he suddenly realized a body lying on the floor near the luggages. It closely resembled the Park Jimin they were looking for.   “Yerin, stay here-” He was about to keep her safe, but the girl’s journalistic instincts had gotten the better of her, and she rushed to the body instead.   “I can’t get a pulse,” Yerin said as she placed two fingers against the wrist of Jimin’s left arm. His body laid flat on his stomach as his face was physically ruined. Something weird had happened around the skin of his eyes, like the surface began to sink and left holes of semi depth. But his cheeks left a bigger hole.   Chan Yeol watched as Yerin tried inspecting the corpse, and he found himself scanning their surroundings. This was obviously the work of the killer who was at this floor. Was there anyone who went downstairs while Jimin was roaming around?   “We should put his body in the freezer with the others. Now that both police officers are gone, we don’t have anyone to do the inspecting,” Yerin said, but her eyes kept watching and searching for any clues.   Chan Yeol wasn’t sure why she wanted to dispose of the body quickly instead of letting someone else do it. He continued being on the lookout anyway, and soon found a weapon lying on the ground. After confirming that Yerin was too focused, he quickly sidestepped his way and nonchalantly picked up the gun before putting it away in his shoes behind his socks.   “Let’s put him with the others,” he then replied to her statement, and proceeded to pick Jimin’s dead body up. Yerin aided him by carrying the corpse’s leg, showing her surprising strength. He guided the way verbally and took careful footsteps, making very sure the gun he carried won’t get exposed.   The process went much quicker than expected - probably because none of them could stand the cold temperature. They saw all the other corpses and placed Jimin’s corpse on top of Seollin’s. The temperature was too cold for them to properly arrange the positions, not that they cared to that extent anyway. They closed the big door by its rotating wheel and quickly felt their body adjust to the heat outside.   “You know what I noticed?” Yerin said as they headed back to the elevator to go relay the news to everyone.   “What?” Chan Yeol gave her a dumb look.   “Sung Yeol’s body wasn’t there.”     Seong Yeon was looking frantic all by herself, fiddling her fingers together, wondering how Sung Yeol was doing. She wanted to go down and check, but after hearing from Kyung Soo that Chan Yeol and Yerin had gone down, she had to wait. She wanted to talk to Mira about this, but tried to make their partnership less obvious.   “Just relax, will ya? You look like you’ve killed a person,” Hyerim spoke, placing a glass of water in front of Seong Yeon’s table with some force exerted.   Seong Yeon looked up to the flight attendant who looked rather annoyed than worried at this point. “Did I kill Sung Yeol?” She asked with a small whimpery voice.   “No, but if you don’t stop acting like this, I might just kill the both of you,” Hyerim said annoyed. If this was said by anyone else, suspicions would’ve been raised. But this was Hyerim and they had already gotten accustomed to her cool, couldn't-care-less attitude.   “Thanks. I was just worried, that’s all,” Seong Yeon said, taking the glass in her hand and taking a sip from it. “It’s really nice!”   Hyerim rolled her eyes. “Don’t over exaggerate. It’s just water and mixed with a pill I got from Chi Yeon that can calm you down,” she spoke and walked away.   As Hyerim was about to go back to the kitchen, she was passed by Yerin and Chan Yeol who were running with determination towards Seong Yeon’s seat. This could only mean trouble, so she decided to watch.   “Where is Sung Yeol?” Chan Yeol asked loudly, deliberately catching everyone’s attention. Yes, he wanted everyone to witness the mystery surrounding this hooded girl.   “What are you talking about?” Seong Yeon asked calmly, casting an unnoticeable glance towards Mira and Hyerim.   “We went downstairs just now and found Park Jimin dead,” Yerin declared.   The others gasped, but at this point, finding a dead body no longer became a surprise. It was a matter of how many more people had to die before the killer would stop.   “Someone must’ve killed him in the span of the past few 15 minutes when he went down by himself,” Yerin concluded. “If only I didn’t have to waste time trying to convince Chan Yeol over here, we could’ve gone down sooner and save him.   “But all of us were up here. Who could’ve done such a thing?” Baek Hyun remarked, gazing at everyone one by one to remember everyone remaining in their seat.   “Exactly. And when we went to place his body in the frozen room with the others, we realized that one body was missing,” Chan Yeol spoke, glaring hard at Seong Yeon. “Lee Sung Yeol.”   “But I thought Sung Yeol died,” Seul Yi said bluntly without filtering her words.   “That’s what Seong Yeon and Mira told us,” Woo Hyun reminded them all of the main suspects.   “So Sung Yeol’s death was fake and he just stayed there to kill anyone who comes down by themselves?” Myung Soo asked, remembering the plot in his comic book.   “No… Sung Yeol didn’t kill anyone,” Seong Yeon said.   “How would you know? And how could he? Since he’s dead, right?” Sohee asked, seemingly on Seong Yeon’s side, but really just stating the obvious to see the dilemma sinking in the other’s face. It was easy to tell something was off.   “Yes, he’s dead!” Mira confirmed. She was able to say it boldly since she did not have any emotional attachment to the guy the way Seong Yeon did. But her statement did not convince anyone.   “It would be better if Sung Yeol did fake his death though. At least he could explain and defend himself if he wasn’t the killer,” Hyun Mi began with a shrug, trying to fish out the truth from the other.   “Yeah! He could have a good reason,” Chi Yeon nodded along with a small shiver. Her voice was so soft that anyone could barely heard it.   “Or you guys are all being paranoid,” Hyerim chimed in, knowing they were trying to attack Seong Yeon by belittling Sung Yeol’s reputation and turn him into the killer. The girl should not falter, no matter what.   “But since we don’t know, we’ll just assume Sung Yeol was the one who killed everyone,” Hyun Mi continued with a casual shrug, trying to pull out the truth from the other.   “We should first confirm if he’s dead or not,” Chi Yeon retorted quietly.   “Can we put him in jail once the plane lands?” Seul Yi asked.   “What a psychopath,” even Hee-Jin muttered under her breath.   “Stop! It wasn’t him! Sung Yeol is innocent. He is too hurt to even move,” Seong Yeon confessed.   Some of the others did not look all too surprised, while a collective group of others still let out some small gasps.   “We thought he was dead,” Sohee spoke, though she was never convinced since the start anyway.   “Didn’t Woo Hyun kill him?” Seul Yi asked, ignoring the guy in question protesting from behind.   “No... We actually faked it,” Seong Yeon began, seeing the worry on Mira’s face, and the evergrowing frustrations on Hyerim’s. This stupid plan was never meant for her to begin with.   “I was the one who stabbed Sung Yeol because we tried to fake his death. But instead he is hurting and waiting down there all by himself. And there is nothing I can do for him... And I just feel so useless…”   The girl could not continue and buried her face in her hands. Tears started to stream down from her eyes.   “Why did you do it? To frame me?” Woo Hyun asked.   “Yes…” Seong Yeon admitted, still sobbing as she turned to look at Woo Hyun with hatred. “You know everyone’s secret, so we had to turn everyone against you.”   “Well congratulations, you turned everyone against you instead,” Hyun Mi spoke with zero empathy in her tone. She turned away from the crowd and returned to her seat, not interested in any of the boo-hoo festivities.   The others soon followed her and returned to their seat, not even asking for an explanation. It was pretty clear: Woo Hyun kept accusing her, and in turn she tried to frame him as a killer by stabbing Sung Yeol. But the plan was too flawed to begin with anyway that the only outcome was its failure.   “Now that everyone knows, we should bring Sung Yeol upstairs,” Mira whispered to Seong Yeon, being the only person who remained by her side. “He can get better treatment up here.”   “That is true,” Seong Yeon agreed.   The two girls got up from the seat and made their way to the back of the plane. They passed Hyerim who was looking at them with disappointment. Disappointment was actually an understatement. She never should’ve gotten them to execute the plans.     “How did you not know it was a trap?” Hyun Mi asked, slapping Woo Hyun’s arms once with a frustrated yet worried sigh. If it was this easy to trick him, what would happen if he became a victim of the murder?   “I saw the knife right in his skin, how was I supposed to ignore that?” Woo Hyun asked back defensively, looking at several others who nodded in agreement with him.   “Wait, you saw the knife in his skin?” Seul Yi asked.   “Yeah, in his skin,” Woo Hyun emphasized, marking the placement on his body.   “Even I could tell that was suspicious. If a killer stabbed him, he would’ve done it immediately over his shirt. Who takes time to lift up the shirt first and then stab him?” Seul Yi laughed.   Her theory made so much sense it surprised everyone.   “Wow! I suddenly became smart!” Seul Yi cheered for herself, followed by the others applauding for her outstanding observation. But nothing made her happier than Myung Soo lightly squeezing her hand to congratulate her.   “I was focused on helping him, I did not have time to make such analysis,” Woo Hyun folded his arms together and frowned cutely.   “I know, I know. You are just too kind to see the fault in others~” Hyun Mi over exaggerated her speech and grinned at him sarcastically. Half of the problems wouldn’t have happened if he did not meddle with other people’s business. For once, his adorable antics did not work on her.   “But he was the one who pointed out Mira and Seong Yeon as the suspects. And didn’t he also mention the corruption Jong Dae was doing which led to the guy’s suicide?” Baek Hyun pointed out the way Woo Hyun found faults in others.   Woo Hyun flattened his eyes as Hyun Mi simply laughed at him for not getting her sarcasm earlier. “Thank you for the reminder,” she said, seeing Baek Hyun wink back with pride.   “You’re very welcome~”   Woo Hyun stared at Baek Hyun and noticed the way he kept looking at Hyun Mi with some sort of awe. It was definitely not the way one should be looking towards a woman who was about to get married soon. “Unbelievable…”   “If it was indeed a suicide,” Sohee muttered under her breath. The more she thought about it, one could not have committed suicide based on guilt alone unless he was dealing with many other external and internal factors.   At that moment, their talk was interrupted when they saw the others reappear; Sung Yeol had his arm around Seong Yeon for support, placed pressure on his wound with the other arm, and limped his way to lean against one of the seats.   Everyone hurled a glare at him, too upset with the ridiculous plan to even feel sorry for him. He wasn’t welcomed back as a glorious hero, but he couldn’t care less. He only had one thing to relay to them all.   “I saw the killer when he attacked Jimin," Sung Yeol declared. "I was Kim Suho."   “Huh... And why did he let you live?” Ho Seok asked skeptically.   “I was hiding. I think that was when Yerin and Chan Yeol came down, so maybe he ran away in fear of being busted,” Sung Yeol explained. He noticed the others did not look all too convinced. “It’s up to you whether you want to believe me or not. But I saw Kim Suho.”   “Well, we have always been wondering about his whereabouts,” Hee-Jin began softening up to this likely theory.   “Did you see his face?” Chi Yeon asked curiously, slowly starting to believe in this possibility too.   “Not exactly, but I know it was a male. The only male missing was Kim Suho,” Sung Yeol argued, but was soon uncertain as he saw the weird looks on their faces.   “This may sound weird, but I think it might be Dong Woo or even Jong Dae,” Sohee suddenly said.   “What?!” Hyun Mi’s voice stood out above everyone else who expressed similar disbelief.   “Well, we never confirmed whether the dead body was Suho or Dong Woo, right?” Sohee began.   “But Hyun Mi already checked and confirmed it was Dong Woo,” Hee-Jin said, proving the theory wrong.   “Unless I got it wrong, and Kim Suho had similar physical attributes?” Hyun Mi questioned the unlikeliness of the possibility, but somehow trying to brainwash herself to accept this new possibility. “But if you are right Sohee, then my brother is still alive? He’s not dead?”   Sohee felt a little guilty for giving any hope if her theory turned out to be wrong. But she was pretty solid on her reasonings and gave a small nod, seeing the tears build up in Hyun Mi’s eyes immediately.   “If it were true, then he’d be the killer though,” Min Seok reminded her.   “My cousin is not a killer,” Heejin said with a frown at the accusation, folding her hands in front of her chest. Min Seok looked guilt-ridden at once and gently caressed the side of her arms, muttering a soft apology.   “To be honest, Min Seok is also suspicious,” Sohee continued.   “Why?” This time, Hee-Jin got more defensive at the accusation.   “Two of the deaths were caused by an Elleaf product. What if Min Seok was working together with Eun Kyung? And since Elleaf would obviously be a main suspect, people start to assume it wasn’t Elleaf because that would’ve been too easy,” Sohee said.   “So then Eun Kyung killed herself?” Chi Yeon asked puzzled.   “Maybe it was another fake death? As proven by Sung Yeol, it is possible,” Sohee shrugged and continued to her next theory. “What if Jong Dae’s body next to Ji Hye was just a dummy? The physical detail is too covered up by the icy particles to differentiate a body from a mannequin.”   “So we have come to a point where even the death are suspicious and might still be alive?” Chan Yeol asked, getting a headache from all this.   “Fake zombies,” Chi Yeon commented quietly.   “Don’t say that! You didn’t even see it for yourself. The way she suffered was certainly not a fake death!” Mira came to Eun Kyung’s defense.   “We actually did see everyone in the frozen room though. No other corpse was missing,” Yerin pointed out.   “Maybe Seong Yeon performed plastic surgery on them? That’s her occupation anyway,” Woo Hyun suggested.   “How would I be able to do that? There is no time to do that here without proper equipments,” Seong Yeon raised her voice at his ridiculous theories.   “Maybe it’s a mask like in those spy movies!” Myung Soo said excitedly at the new possibility.   “Oh yeah, the world is very advanced now. It could be,” Seul Yi agreed at once.   Myung Soo unconsciously stared at her, smiling as she always took his side no matter what. Despite the horror going on, he could still see some goodness left that kept his spirit to keep on living.     Sung Yeol hissed when his bandage got replaced by a new one. He was surprised to see how much blood he lost, seeing it all soaked up into the white bandage. The thought itself was kind of frightening.   “Why won’t the wound close?” Seong Yeon asked, seeing blood continuously spewing out, but at a lesser amount. “I did not accidentally hit your arteries, did I?”   “Let’s hope not, cause that would put me in great danger,” Sung Yeol chuckled with an attempt to joke. Seeing the shock on Seong Yeon’s face made him laugh harder.   “Here, drink this,” Hyerim appeared with a glass of water and placed it in front of Sung Yeol.   “Thanks.” He drank everything up in a gulp, seemingly dehydrated from being down there for too long. He even finished with a loud “ah” to show his satisfaction. “So what exactly happened? How did they see through our plan?”   “They didn’t. Your girlfriend over here came clean,” Hyerim said with definite annoyance in her tone.   “They were accusing you as the killer. And I know that it’s not you. So I had to defend your name at least,” Seong Yeon tried explaining her actions. She knew it may seem foolish to many, but she had grown too attached to Sung Yeol to do otherwise.   “I can handle some hate. It’s not the first time,” Sung Yeol said, hissing again as Seong Yeon continued treating his wound. “I deal with it all the time at the hospital.”   Seong Yeon wasn’t sure what he meant with those words. All favoritism aside, Lee Sung Yeol does seem like a reliable doctor, if he was willing to help. She was sure he had a good reason for not helping those who were injured and killed the moment the flight started. Maybe he had some kind of collision with those people? Maybe he disliked them enough to let them die?   “Sung Yeol, what would you do if I die?” She randomly asked.   Sung Yeol stared back with an absurd face. “I wouldn’t let that happen.”   “If… Please just answer it.”   “I’ll try to save you. Then find out who did it, and avenge you.”   Seong Yeon smiled as she continued treating his wounds. The blood kept flowing despite her attempts to stop it.   “Satisfied?” He asked with a grin.   “Satisfied.”   Hyerim shook her head as she headed back to the kitchen. She thought they were tough, but the two were way too soft because of their feelings for each other. This was the main flaw of their plan.     Myung Soo had called in a private gathering between several of the males left on the plane: basically anyone but Sung Yeol since he was a little suspicious right now. Plus he was too wounded to come to the very front of the plane anyway.   “So I have a theory which I discovered after reading Death Note,” Myung Soo began, grinning sheepishly at their flattened eyes. They must be doubting him for referencing his manga. “In the comic, Death Note was used to kill people. But not just anyone; the people being killed were all criminals of the law of some sort.”   “So what are you saying? We’re gonna get killed because we aren’t law abiding citizens?” Min Seok asked.   “Maybe,” Myung Soo nodded unsurely. “Just like how Woo Hyun knew about the corruption with Jong Dae’s Chen Charity, perhaps the killer knows of all our wrongdoings.”   “My records are completely clean though,” Baek Hyun said proudly.   “You may have paid the police officials to erase your records, but it doesn’t hide what happened at your hapkido academy,” Woo Hyun told him sternly.   The proud smile faltered from Baek Hyun’s face, and he now frowned at the other. “You speak like you’re the defender of justice. Since you’re the only one who knows of our so-called crimes, wouldn’t that make you a high suspect?” He began gritting his teeth out of anger.   “Calm down. Let’s not draw any conclusions,” Min Seok quickly stopped them from any physical fight outbreaks.   “But if this theory was right, are you saying the killers are actually the good guys and that we are the bad guys?” Kyung Soo questioned after keeping his silence for the longest time.   “That’s nonsense!” Chan Yeol spoke in an uproar.   “Yeah! No matter the reason, they are still killers.” Ho Seok clenched his hands into a fist, more sensitive towards this subject. “People who takes away someone’s life is...”   “Lower than dog poop,” Baek Hyun continued the line for him.   Myung Soo was in quite a daze when the guys suddenly began arguing among themselves about this new idea he proposed, which was just based off a comic book. He quickly calmed them down, unwilling to attract any attention from the girls. In fact, he had another reason for gathering them together.   “I’m asking you as a brother to another brother…” He began when the arguments had subdued, pursing his lips together and nervously swallowing his saliva. “How do you ask a girl out?”   “Seul Yi?” Min Seok asked, not too surprised at all. He smiled when Myung Soo nodded his head in embarrassment.   “Dude, you’re handsome. Just smile and don’t say anything at all, it will make her go crazy. You look uglier when you speak,” Woo Hyun said.   “Do you even have time for this? Aren’t we kinda on the lookout for the killer?” Kyung Soo asked.   “This can be good distraction,” Ho Seok said, rubbing his chin with his fingers. “Maybe I should make a move too.”   “Just be yourself. Seul Yi already likes you anyway,” Min Seok nudged Myung Soo with a wide smile.   Somehow, the scary plane ride didn’t seem all too scary anymore when they were talking about the things they loved and wanted to protect. It was just a temporary bliss to keep their mind away from the actual horror, and they were willing to accept it.     Seul Yi looked up from the magazine she was reading again for the 3rd time that day, just to distract herself from all the horror. She made a face when she saw Myung Soo sitting besides her in Aemi’s old place, just smiling at her in a rather creepy way.   “What’s wrong, oppa?” She asked.   Myung Soo did not say anything, and instead flashed his teeth through his charming smile.   Seul Yi looked more confused than ever.   “No teeth, dude. Close your mouth!” They could hear Woo Hyun hiss from the side with a loud whisper.   “It’s not working. She looks annoyed,” Min Seok whispered.   “But she looks annoyed all the time anyway,” Baek Hyun remarked.   “She has the ice princess aura,” Ho Seok agreed.   Seul Yi turned to the side, seeing Woo Hyun, Min Seok, Baek Hyun, and Ho Seok all staring at them from behind the front seats, before oh-so-casually turning around and taking a proper seat like the fine gentlemen they were. She turned to Myung Soo and placed the magazine away. “What’s going on?”   “Aish, this isn’t working. Woo Hyun hyung is stupid,” Myung Soo complained as he scratched the back of his head in frustration.   “You just realized that guy is stupid?” Seul Yi questioned. It was a pretty known fact by now that the politician was a little on the foolish side at times. Smart and wise, but still foolish.   “I asked him what I should do to ask you out, and he said to just keep smiling,” Myung Soo confessed with a defeated sigh. He was more foolish to believe it would even work.   Seul Yi began to laugh at the stupid incident, finding it hilarious and adorable how Myung Soo managed to fall for that ridiculous idea that was bound to fail. Suddenly, her laughter stopped and her brain slowly processed the first part of his sentence. “Wait.. To ask you out.. You’re… Asking me out? Me… Being asked by you?” She stuttered.   “That’s the idea. Uuhm…” Myung Soo hastily looked around him in a daze. After a short lightbulb moment, he walked to his seat and returned to her side again shortly afterwards. This time he presented the paper crane he had made from his black handkerchief a long time ago in his hand.   “Kang Seul Yi, I like you… For quite some time now. This isn’t the ideal way for me to ask you to be my girlfriend, but since I don’t know how much time we have left, I thought that…”   Seeing the struggle Myung Soo was in as he tried to confess to her was simply adorable. Seul Yi managed to keep it cool on the outside even though she was screaming and jumping in joy on the inside. She calmly accepted the paper crane from his hand and held it to her chest.   “I like you too, but you probably already knew that,” she said with a smile that grew wider gradually.   Myung Soo smiled along, seeing that radiating glow on her face as she grinned at him so beautifully. He was already at a loss for words at this surrealism and opted to wrap his arm around her body, pulling her close for their first hug as a couple. Despite all the horror, something beautiful was able to blossom from it anyway.   “Congrats!” Yerin cheered excitedly, and others soon followed.   Mira was less than pleased, eyeing them judgingly for the happiness they did not deserve. Had they all forgotten about Aemi and decided to date after she was gone? Rude.   Aside from her, Chi Yeon was another person who could not genuinely congratulate them.  She looked a little spazzed out, staring emptily at the new couple who were a little shy with everyone teasing them. She wanted to be happy for them, but all she felt was just fear. Lately, that was all she felt.   “Are you okay?”   Chi Yeon jumped up from the sudden voice interrupting her thoughts. She was even more surprised to see Hyun Mi staring at her, standing at the pathway before she took the empty seat besides her.   “I am. Why would you think I’m not?” Chi Yeon asked with a nervous chuckle that sounded overly fake.   “Are you wondering when Ho Seok is going to confess to you?” Hyun Mi asked curiously, her eyes widening in delight at the topic.   “No! No! Not at all!” Chi Yeon panicked, blushing furiously as she bit her lips together. She pulled unto her cardigan and began fiddling with it out of embarrassment.   Hyun Mi couldn’t help but laugh at the other’s reaction. “If you’re bothered by anything, you can come talk to me anytime,” she said, giving a soft pat against Chi Yeon’s shoulder and got up.   “Actually… I’m scared…”   Hyun Mi did not expect the younger one to open up this fast, and she quickly got back on the seat to face Chi Yeon. “What happened? Did you find something?”   “No… I’m just scared of everything. I am scared of the fact that there is a killer loose on the plane, and has been killing people. I don’t know how long I can survive before the plane lands. And I’m just scared to become the next victim.”   Hyun Mi was at a loss when Chi Yeon began to cry quietly, quickly drawing Ho Seok’s attention who looked worried at once. But after a short exchange with Hyun Mi, he decided to wait before approaching.   “I don’t have the answer for this either, because all of us are feeling the same way. We’re scared because we don’t know what will happen. But it doesn’t mean we should live in fear. We can continue

Chapter 14: I finally finished this today! This might be my top favorite mystery story here.
I also read the blog posts about the random facts of the story and I love how much research is put into the story. I like the foreshadowing used in scenes that I never paid close attention to like how the killers did their thing without no one suspecting them.
Of course, I will be reading the prequel, "The Target".

Chapter 12: I guess I was right about who Sheep is but I didn't expect who Wolfie is. Remember how in one of my earlier comments I mentioned how I suspected one person of being a killer.
Mira and Sohee are like the examples of friends for life but when it comes to death, one wants to survive and won't hesitate to get rid of the other to make sure they live longer.

Chapter 11: I started this story with Hee-Jin being a character whose storyline I'm interested in but now it's Hyun Mi who caught my interest. I nearly thought she did die in this chapter but luckily she's still alive. I like how Hee-Jin is taking her relationship with Minseok slow, it might also be because she doesn't want to get together with him after Eun Kyung died.
Mira and Hyerim found one killer, which means one of the other survivors is the 2nd one.

Chapter 10: Is it bad that I hate Hyerim because of how she manipulates Seong Yeon? Also, poor Hyun Mi, she lost the love of her life.
Reading about Seong Yeon's death scene made me think of that one scene in "Halloween 2" where Michael Myers uses boiling water to kill a nurse at the hospital. I turn away from the screen when that scene pops up. I can handle reading gore but seeing it in movies. dramas or video games just disgust me.

Chapter 9: Not going to lie but I like how everyone is suspecting one another to be the killer. They don't realize that they're slowly making it easier for the killer to get rid of them.
I think I, maybe, kind of got an idea who one of the killers might be. Something that happens in this chapter made me realize that the person is doing it as revenge for what the others did to them.

Chapter 8: No offense to Sung Yeol, Seong Yeon, and Mira but that is no way to prove someone is a killer, it's more of falsely accusing an innocent. I like how Hyun Mi points out how she trust Woo Hyun and knows he isn't the killer.
I still wonder how can Sung Yeol tell that it's Suho based on the killer's height, some of the other guys might be a similar height. Then I suddenly have a thought that maybe the killer could be one of the girls.

Chapter 7: I'm getting the idea that everyone on the plane must have or may have once committed a crime and the killer is delivering their form of justice against them. Also, something tells me that plan to fake a death might backfire and the person who pretends might die from it.
Since I watch a lot of horror/thriller films, I feel like there might be more than one killer. Like one does the killing and the other one kind of tells the killer where the victims are.

Chapter 6: I feel like elevators are the most dangerous unexpected weapon to kill a person because you never know when something bad will happen when you're in one.
I also began noticing that all the characters say something that makes me suspicious of them. It's like very common of each of them to begin accusing one another because the person they suspect does something suspicious, that might end up backfiring on them especially if they're wrong about the culprit.

Chapter 5: I still find it weird for people to be doing "things" in an airplane bathroom.
The part where Eun Kyung hit Hee-Jin made me nearly think Hee-Jin might be the next to die. I like how she talked back to Eun Kyung who cheated on Min Seok first but have the nerve to get angry at Hee-Jin when it's her actions that lead to Min Seok getting to know Hee-Jin.

Chapter 4: I feel like the body count is increasing since it looks like 3 people died in this chapter.
No offense to Eun Kyung but if you're trying to rekindle the love you and Min Seok had then you shouldn't be thinking of starting something with another guy.
