Tragic Regrets

Hidden In Plane Sight

The entire elevator was packed and there was barely any room left to breathe. They thought fitting eleven people would’ve been easier since not many of them survived, but they were wrong. The awfully slow pace and their attempt to stay away from the wall filled with random hooks and screws made everyone gather tighter towards the center of the elevator.   When the elevator came to the ground floor, everyone walked out with great relief and exhaled deeply to snatch a breath.   “Everyone, check your own bag and see if anything is missing. Especially you, Mira,” Woo Hyun said.   The girl gave him a nasty glare of irritation and walked to her own luggage. “Just because my equipment were used, doesn’t mean I am the killer,” she kept mumbling to herself.   Sohee remained in her stance with a finger brushing against her lips. She watched as everyone was now rummaging through their own bags; carefully scanning and recalling whether anything was missing or not. Out of everyone, Mira’s movements were rather sluggish as if she wasn’t even putting half the effort she should’ve when checking her belongings.   “What’s wrong?” Sohee decided to question the girl.   “I’m just so sick and tired of this! I hate how the killer is obviously framing me by using my equipment! I just wanna go home!” Mira whined with a deep sigh, smacking her own hand against the top of her suitcase before slamming it shut.   “Was anything missing?” Sohee asked, unable to scan the inside of the suitcase before it was closed just like that. Was Mira perhaps trying to hide something from them?   “They might as well take my entire suitcase and keep pointing all murder to my direction.” Mira let out a desperate chuckle as she was slowly losing her mind. “I wanna go home.”   “We all do!” Chan Yeol told her. “You’re not the only one tired of this murdering. You think we’re having fun with it?”   “That’s not even what I said,” Mira commented lowly under her breath. This was useless, she had no time for this. There was barely anyone she could trust. “I need to see Kris.”   “Wait!” Hyun Mi suddenly recalled out loud, shocking the others who were checking their suitcases in uttermost silence and secrecy.   “Did you find something?” Min Seok asked.   “I just remember Sohee’s theory about some of the dead bodies being fake decoys! Should we go check on them?” Hyun Mi suggested, sounding a bit excited at the idea that they could be closer to solving the mystery.   “You want us to go inside that freezing room?” Yerin asked her skeptically, already reluctant at the idea.   “The likes of you wouldn’t even survive in there for 10 seconds. You can’t handle the cold temperature,” Kyung Soo told her, spoken as the pro who has gone in and out of the room multiple times to dispose the dead bodies.   “Hey, that’s my cousin,” Hee-Jin quietly nudged her friend, not liking the way he referred to her as some kind of rare meek species. It was all good when Kyung Soo muttered a small apology afterwards.   “Okay, since you’re so skilled, why don’t you go in there?” Baek Hyun crossed his arms after he provoked the only male flight attendant.   “And do what exactly?” Kyung Soo bounced the question back.   “I don’t know. Do whatever you need to do to confirm whether those bodies are fake or not… I guess?” Baek Hyun shrugged.   “I do not possess such skills to identify the corpses as fake or real,” Kyung Soo said with a hardened stare. The entire theory suddenly seemed so stupid now since none among them could truly confirm it.   “Besides, if they are faking their death, how can they stop breathing to the point their heart beat stops?” Min Seok suddenly asked another inaccuracy with this theory.   “There is a trick,” Hyerim told them. “I read there is a specific area next to the heart that can be stabbed to cause the heart to temporarily stop beating. But it will return back to normal after several minutes.   The others were petrified at this revelation and Hyerim’s knowledge about it. If that was true, they should’ve checked who had a stab against the chest and who didn’t.   “This is useless. I’m gonna go find Kris,” Mira spoke and was about to pass through to head back to the elevator when Hyerim appeared in front of her with no expression.   “You are not allowed to,” Hyerim spoke, flashing what was supposed to be a friendly smile.   “And why’s that?” Mira asked with raised brows.   “They are busy. No one is allowed to go inside under any circumstances unless they allow us to. Their last order was to leave them alone so they could concentrate on the flight,” Hyerim explained.   Mira was about to protest, but didn’t when someone else’s voice interrupted them.   “Do we really have to go this far?” Hee-Jin suddenly spoke up worriedly, breaking the tension between the two girls unknowingly. “I mean they already experienced a gruesome death, can’t we let their body rest in peace at least?”   “I completely agree. They may have passed away, but we should respect whatever is left of them,” Min Seok spoke as he gently rested his hands against Hee-Jin’s shoulder.   It would be a lie if the small contact did not make her heart flutter. He always had that way to make her feel completely lost of her surrounding, feeling like the world belonged to the two of them. Having someone agree with her was always relieving, and it always had to be Kim Min Seok.   Sohee’s loud cough made Hee-Jin return to reality. She looked at the girl slightly shaking her head in disapproval. Hee-Jin was reminded of Min Seok’s possible involvement with Elleaf products, and so she slowly stepped sideways to let his hand glide away from her.   “Well, I was just saying a theory. I did not say the dead bodies were alive or anything,” Sohee said with a small shrug.   “We should go back up,” Ho Seok said impatiently, staring rather blankly in front of him.   “Well, so we came all the way down here for nothing?” Yerin asked, a little annoyed.   “Would you rather we stayed up and finished what we started earlier?” Chan Yeol whispered in her ears with a sensual grin.   Yerin cleared , trying her best to remain unaffected like the cool person she was. She would not allow her heart to keep racing this fast for this idiot just because of that one kiss… Or his firm biceps… Or his cute smile…   “We didn’t even start on anything,” she quickly responded after regaining her sanity back, reminding herself of the reasons why Chan Yeol was a big idiot.   “Do you want to?” Chan Yeol asked her without sounding too eager and hopeful.   “No!” She lied, stepping into the elevator with the others before pulling Chan Yeol inside as the very last person.   The way the space was all tightly packed once more and forced Chan Yeol to practically hug Yerin made her heart continue to race at a faster pace. She blamed herself inwardly for secretly not minding the elevator’s awfully slow ride.     Seong Yeon yawned loudly with her chin almost touching the tip of her chest. She stretched her arms and legs, grateful for the large spaces between each chairs to allow enough room for her stretching.   When her wrist touched the side of Sung Yeol’s fluffy hair, she remembered the presence of another person aside from herself. How embarrassing it was to have him hear her loud unlady-like yawn. But he seemed asleep, so she was safe.   Everything seemed so peaceful when it was just the two of them there. There was a serene noise of flowing water cascading gently in a peaceful motion. She momentarily thought she was dreaming.   “Nothing was missing from my bag.”   “Mine too.”   Seong Yeon turned around to see the others emerging from behind the kitchen curtain. Seeing their small number made her realize how only half the plane survived thus far. Based on their talk, it seemed they did not gather any new information downstairs.   “Hey! I’m surprised to see you two here!” Baek Hyun exclaimed, patting Sung Yeol’s shoulder. But the guy did not budge.   “He’s sleeping. Be more gentle!” Seong Yeon hissed at the shorter guy. “Besides, what is so surprising about it? We said we’d stay here.”   “It’s just that when a guy and girl are alone together, they’d use the chance to go to the lavatory and… You know,” Baek Hyun said the suggestive sentence with the most innocent and child-like smile on his face.   “You !” Hyun Mi laughed at him from behind as she gave him a small push. “A guy and a girl alone in a lavatory could be doing other stuff too.”   “Like what? Braiding each others’ hair?” Baek Hyun asked, hearing the girl laugh louder at his remark. It made him smile proudly knowing his joke was well-received.   “That’s definitely not what Seul Yi and Myung Soo were doing?” Hyun Mi commented with a grin and they both knew what she meant.   Seong Yeon wasn’t sure what she was even listening to at the moment and decided to ignore it.   “Hm? But the door’s open though?” Hee-Jin remarked as she turned her head to both lavatories to see one being vacant and the other one with its door slightly opened.   “And they are not at their seats,” Woo Hyun continued the observation, knowing where this was going.   (Play Background Music)   Everyone was on guard at once and their giggly interactions stopped as the sound of rushing water suddenly became more prominent. As an automatic response, they huddled to the person standing the closest to them. Some even tried to grab whatever was in reach to use as a defense weapon.   Baek Hyun volunteered himself to go check the place out, knowing he had his hapkido skills to guard him. In the midst of everyone holding their breath, he kicked the lavatory door wide open and jumped to its entrance.   The sight inside made him gasp loudly in shock, lowering his defense pose as he stared helplessly. Seul Yi’s head was lying inside the sink in an uncomfortable position. The water was still rushing down the sink after consuming Seul Yi’s final breath. Next to her was a semi burnt black colored corpse of Myung Soo. What used to be his handsome face was now an inhumane mess with missing features. There was still some residue of smoke coming from his body. An electric shaver was placed neatly in his hands, soon identified as the murder weapon.   “Wow, he took embracing his favorite color a little too literal,” Baek Hyun commented, knowing how Myung Soo used to idolize whatever was black colored based on what he had seen from the guy.   “Are they...?” Yerin asked in disbelief.   “Dead.” Hyerim nodded, walking to the lavatory to open the door wider.   “But how? We were all downstairs,” Hee-Jin questioned.   “Not all of us,” Sohee uttered, turning her head to the couple at the back seat. Everyone followed her direction and soon all eyes were on Seong Yeon and Sung Yeol.   “You think we did it? I don’t even know what happened. I think I fell asleep.” Seong Yeon’s voice sounded a little panicked.   “The fact is that you two were the only two people up here,” Chan Yeol spoke.   “Along with the two pilots,” Mira pointed out.   “Who wouldn’t come out of the cockpit. They have more important things to do,” Hee-Jin said to clarify some things.   “It has to be them. There is no other way, unless one of the corpses is alive,” Sohee said, crossing her arms.   “No, I was asleep. I have no idea what happened,” Seong Yeon tried defending herself. In a panic, she looked at Sung Yeol who managed to escape all problems by being asleep. “See, even he is asleep.”   “So you both fell asleep at the same time?” Woo Hyun raised his eyebrows skeptically.   “Yes! Tell him, Sung Yeol.” Seong Yeon began rocking his body back and forth to wake him up. In the state of her rushed aggravation and panic to prove her innocence, her movements became more rigid and wild.   The others watched with worry when her movements seemed to have gotten a little out of control, to the point Sung Yeol fell of his chair and landed on the floor in a flat position with a loud thud. Others gasped in shock.   “Oh no! I… I’m sorry!” Seong Yeon quickly apologized, getting up from her seat to carry the guy back to his chair.   “Why is he… Still sleeping?” Baek Hyun commented with a frown.   “I... I don't know,” Seong Yeon answered, using her strength to put Sung Yeol in his seat.   Mira had a bad feeling and couldn’t stand seeing her friend acting so out of her mind like this. It wasn’t like the strong Seong Yeon she had gotten to know. So she walked forward and knelt down on the seat besides Sung Yeol. She took the guy’s slim wrist in her hand and traced her fingers to find a sign of his heart.   “I can't find a pulse,” she commented.   “What?!” Seong Yeon asked, slightly pushing Mira aside so she could try it herself. She placed her hand at the same area and hated to admit the emptiness she felt. She moved her hands below his nostrils, realizing that he was no longer breathing.   “This can’t be…” Her voice was barely audible from the immense shock she felt at losing the person she had learned to love. It came without any warning and left her unprepared.   “We lost another one,” Hyerim sighed.   “Do not call him another one! He wasn’t like the others!” Seong Yeon yelled at the flight attendant. She had unknowingly wrapped both hands around Sung Yeol’s head and pulled his lifeless head to rest against her chest.   This was unfair. His precious life was taken from him while she was asleep. There wasn’t even a chance to tell him how she truly felt or have a proper farewell. It was all her fault. If the killer was there after killing the couple in the lavatory, she should’ve stayed awake to protect him. But now she could only live with regrets.   Min Seok let out a small sigh that sounded very relieved for a tense situation like that.   “You okay?” Sohee asked him, noting his rather joyful like response.   “Very okay,” Min Seok answered her with an ambiguous smile.   An answer that made things even all the more suspicious. He seemed rather happy for someone who had just lost another survivor. They weren’t close, but the proper response would’ve been a mournful one.   Sohee was not going to let Hee-Jin stay too close to this guy for sure.     The usual group who would usually discuss things out loud were unusually quiet this time. They were huddled in a circle like usual, but everyone had a similar solemn look.   “Seul Yi was always the one who would throw out a bunch of random theories,” Hyun Mi began, feeling the great absence of her friend. She was much quieter than usual after losing another person she was close with.   “Myung Soo would just sit there reading his comic, giving out absurd theories,” Woo Hyun continued, remembering the very last thing the guy had told them before the confession. “One theory made sense though.”   “What?” Yerin asked curiously.   “He said that in his comic, the people who were killed were the criminals; the bad guys who did not obey the law,” Woo Hyun recalled.   “Are we criminals?” Yerin asked, offended. But after giving it some thought, the description did fit Chan Yeol’s scenario and the shady schemes of his drugs disguised as medicines.   “Do you really want me to answer that?” Woo Hyun flattened his eyes as Hyun Mi quickly placed her hand in front of his mouth to stop him from saying anything else that could trigger hatred.   “So the killers are actually the good guys?” Baek Hyun asked.   “No! They could never be,” Ho Seok hissed, clenching his fist and gritting his teeth. “They took away the life of so many people. There is no way they can be good.”   Everyone thought he was saying this based on Chi Yeon’s recent death, but Sohee knew it was because of his father. That one wretched night triggered more unstable emotions whenever they talked about death and murder.   “So in a sense, they are hurting the bad people to benefit the good people?” Hyun Mi questioned based on the theory.   “No! They aren’t good! No killer is or will ever be good! They should be killed!” Ho Seok yelled as he raised his voice at the girl.   Hyun Mi was taken aback, but due to her own fluctuating emotions after the loss of her friend, it converted into anger instead.   “No need to raise your voice to her like that,” Woo Hyun quickly said, grabbing Hyun Mi’s hand before she could lash out on the other guy who was also coping with a loss. He knew how bad her temper could get if she lost her self-control.   “Are you perhaps on the side of the killer? Don’t try to defend them, ‘cause what they did was wrong! They killed innocent life! If you can’t understand that then just shut up!” Ho Seok began yelling hysterically.   Sohee quickly got up from her seat, patting his back lightly to remind him about their reality. He was starting to get triggers and flashbacks from the night when he had lost both his parents - one being murdered, and the other one on the run after the murder.   Hyun Mi scoffed a loud laugh as she got up from her chair to face him. “Clearly I don’t understand your pain. Because losing my brother and closest friend isn’t the same as losing someone I barely know for less than 24 hours,” she spoke with great sarcasm and glared at the guy.   The others were feeling so tense just by being there, but having no place to escape to. This entire murder fiasco was getting on everyone’s nerves and toying with their emotions. Even the coolest, most collected, or friendliest people would snap.   “Okay, that’s enough.” Woo Hyun quickly got up to her side and wrapped his arms around her in the hope it would calm her down.   “Don’t say I don‘t understand your loss. By losing all people of L’Studio, I have also lost a wedding.” Hyun Mi’s voice faded into a soft whisper at the end of her sentence, and Woo Hyun had to pull himself away to give her a bewildered look.   “A wedding? Honestly, at this rate, I think our entire wedding will be delayed,” he said with a nervous chuckle.   “What?”   Woo Hyun knew he was in trouble the moment Hyun Mi slapped his arms away from herself and glared at him so frighteningly he felt she was ripping his soul apart by her piercing stare.   “I don’t think we can proceed with the original date after everything that has happened. We need to arrange a new schedule for a photoshoot which will delay the entire event,” he began to explain himself. But he should’ve known that trying to communicate with an enraged female was useless.   “If you don’t wanna marry me, you can just say it,” Hyun Mi blurted out. Her eyes were still fixed on her fiancé, trapping him in her wrath.   “That’s not what I meant-”   “For how long do you wanna delay the wedding? A month? A year? Forever?” Hyun Mi began spewing out whatever was on her mind during her aggravated moment to release her anger. She knew she would regret these words later on, but for now she had to release her own anger.   “Hyun Mi, I don’t think he meant it that way…” Hee-Jin tried to help out but stopped when her cousin held a hand up to stop her from getting involved or becoming a victim of her fury.   “If you truly know me well, know how hard I’ve been working to plan everything out for us, and you understand how important it is for me to stick to the schedule… Then your suggestion to delay everything was just a great insult for not appreciating my effort or respect the things I thought we both valued.” Hyun Mi’s words was filled with so much disappointment even the bystanders could understand her point of view.   “That’s not even what I meant. I know how important it is for you. But we never accounted this to happen in the schedule, so you need to let go of your uptightness a little and be more flexible,” Woo Hyun tried defending himself, indirectly saying things to offend her.   Hyun Mi looked momentarily lost for words, letting his words simmer down her brain and sink into her heart. In the end, she was only left with a forced smile etching the edges of her lips.   “Sometimes a girl needs you to agree with her and stand on her side even when the entire world tells her she was wrong,” She spoke softly; her anger subdued but the calamity ascending.   “In this case, the one who means the world to me is the one who has turned against me.”     Seong Yeon was staring in front of her with an empty gaze. She had never realized how painful it felt when someone important was missing from her life, until she lost hers. It burdened her not knowing what had caused this sudden loss. He seemed fine just a few minutes ago.   “Don’t blame yourself.” Mira appeared on the empty seat that once belonged to Sung Yeol. She placed her hand against her friend’s thigh for support, knowing the girl was about to inflict more mental damage to herself.   “How did you know I was going to?” She asked with a hiss, clenching her hand tightly with the urge to start beating herself up.   “Cause you always seem to make yourself the center of all problems even if it isn’t so. You were a victim as much as Sung Yeol was, but you’re luckier to remain alive,” Mira said with a reassuring smile that things will be fine.   “Lucky?” Seong Yeon scoffed pathetically at the thought. “At this point, I think that being dead is luckier than staying alive. We need to cope with the loss of the people we love and also fear the moment when we may become the next victim.”   “You are right. But I will keep surviving because I know someone is waiting for me back at home,” Mira spoke, referring to her boyfriend who had no clue whatsoever about what was going up in there.   Seong Yeon forced herself to smile along. “At least you have someone to wait for you. I have no one left,” she spoke the agonizing words with that pained smile.   “Quit your whining. This all happened because you two were too weak.” Hyerim appeared and took the empty chair in front of them. She faced them with her arms resting lazily over the headrest.   “What? Sung Yeol died because we followed your stupid plan!” Seong Yeon felt her anger boiling towards the petite flight attendant.   “I never forced you guys to join me. It was your voluntary act,” Hyerim spoke. “Besides, it wasn’t my fault you stabbed him at the wrong place.”   Seong Yeon frowned in annoyance and sheer curiosity. She was too baffled to even give a proper response and could only feel her lips trembling.   “When the blood started spewing out like that, he probably also knew he didn’t have much time left. You hit the wrong arteries,” Hyerim explained while shaking her head.   The words were like a devilish nightmare brought to reality. Her biggest fear was to hurt Sung Yeol. She thought she could protect them all by doing this. They were trying to protect everyone from Nam Woo Hyun, the number one suspect. Instead, she lost someone far greater than the cost of her own life.   “That explains why the bleeding never stopped,” Mira recalled, remembering how the wound kept opening up with flowing blood even after the countless treatments. It made sense now.   “This is unforgivable,” Seong Yeon was soon consumed with anger. This was an incident that could’ve been easily avoided if only it wasn’t because of this person rising up as a threat to them all. Sung Yeol could’ve stayed alive if they decided to leave this person alone.   “If you truly wanna blame someone, you know who,” Hyerim said, cocking her head to the guy who was sitting alone in his seat.   Seong Yeon’s knuckles turned white as she squeezed her own fists too hard. She was sure her nails would leave a mark in her skin. But she no longer cared. Justice had to be served. Whether their theories were right or not, they had to get rid of their target so that Sung Yeol’s death was not in vain. This was going to be her vendetta for taking away her most prized possession.   “Nam Woo Hyun,” Seong Yeon muttered the name with an excruciatingly amount of hatred, “You will pay.”     Despite the cold war taking place that filled the entire front section with icy tension, Ho Seok was fully focused and determined to find the killer. He did not care that the normally cheesy couple were having a fight and sat separately from each other while giving each other the silent treatment. He only cared about justice for Chi Yeon. No matter how long he thought about it, Chi Yeon’s behavior before her death was strange.   “What are you doing?” Sohee turned from her seat to see Ho Seok walking over to Chi Yeon’s empty seat. He did nothing but sit there in her place. “I know you are coping with a loss, but sitting there won’t bring her back.”   “I know,” Ho Seok replied shortly as his eyes kept scanning his surrounding from Chi Yeon’s seat.   “Then what are you doing?” Sohee got interested and joined him as she took the empty seat besides him. It belonged to Chan Yeol, but of course he was with Yerin.   “Trying to find out what happened to Chi Yeon,” He answered and turned to his friend with a sharp look. “Even you would’ve noticed that Chi Yeon was a very timid person. And you said she liked me, right?”   “Yeah… I guess?” Sohee wasn’t sure where this was going.   “Whenever I go to talk to her, she would normally be shy and receptive of it. But this time, she looked at me as if I was the killer. I have done nothing that could possibly lead up to that conclusion, meaning that someone else was probably framing me.”   Sohee’s eyes widened in shock as his theory suddenly began to make sense.   “And she is the type of person who was scared of going to the lavatory all by herself or stay inside for a long time. The fact she chose to lock herself in the place she was so fearful of proves that something must have triggered her to do so,” Ho Seok continued his theories and the monitor in front of him.   “That actually makes a lot of sense. I did notice she was acting more scared. Even the way she looked at me and avoided me was as if she had lost all trust in everyone,” Sohee remembered. The girl was just focused on running to the lavatory as fast as possible.   “Is there a way to check the windows she had seen before? We could gather some clues.” Ho Seok was wildly pressing some buttons in the hope that his desired screen would pop up with the info.   “If you’re talking about Chi Yeon, I think she was looking at some map or something,” Baek Hyun suddenly chimed in from the seat behind them.   The two friends looked at him with twisted eyebrows. Was he eavesdropping on them?   “I thought you guys wanted help?” Baek Hyun questioned with a nonchalant look, looking up from the game he was playing with a bright grin.   “Thanks, we’ll take it,” Sohee nodded and nudged Ho Seok to focus back on the screen. She suddenly let out a huge gasp and started slapping his arms at her discovery. “The map must be the screen with all the flight details!”   “Oh yeah!” Ho Seok yelled along and quickly pressed the buttons to lead them towards the page. Soon enough, the world map appeared in sight, along with the flight details, the small icon indicating the plane, and its destination. Immediately, they noticed something wrong.   “Is it me or are we going off course?” Ho Seok asked blankly.   Sohee was momentarily quiet as she studied the map. “As far as I remember my topography lessons, we may have already passed Spain?” She said unsurely.   “Is this what Chi Yeon saw? Is this why she got so paranoid?” Ho Seok wondered to himself.   “We should tell the others!” Sohee took the matter in her own hands and got up from her seat. She clapped her hand loudly to get everyone’s attention once more.   “What?” Chan Yeol asked, looking at her with confusion.   “Me and Ho Seok just looked at the flight detail information through the monitor, and we realized that the plane is flying off course.”   Everyone’s voices soon turned into murmurs as they decided to check it out for themselves, seeing that it was true.   “Where are we heading?” Min Seok asked.   “We have no idea. There is no new destination being pinpointed,” Ho Seok said.   “This is getting out of hand. Let me meet Kris!” Mira demanded and got up from her seat

Chapter 14: I finally finished this today! This might be my top favorite mystery story here.
I also read the blog posts about the random facts of the story and I love how much research is put into the story. I like the foreshadowing used in scenes that I never paid close attention to like how the killers did their thing without no one suspecting them.
Of course, I will be reading the prequel, "The Target".

Chapter 12: I guess I was right about who Sheep is but I didn't expect who Wolfie is. Remember how in one of my earlier comments I mentioned how I suspected one person of being a killer.
Mira and Sohee are like the examples of friends for life but when it comes to death, one wants to survive and won't hesitate to get rid of the other to make sure they live longer.

Chapter 11: I started this story with Hee-Jin being a character whose storyline I'm interested in but now it's Hyun Mi who caught my interest. I nearly thought she did die in this chapter but luckily she's still alive. I like how Hee-Jin is taking her relationship with Minseok slow, it might also be because she doesn't want to get together with him after Eun Kyung died.
Mira and Hyerim found one killer, which means one of the other survivors is the 2nd one.

Chapter 10: Is it bad that I hate Hyerim because of how she manipulates Seong Yeon? Also, poor Hyun Mi, she lost the love of her life.
Reading about Seong Yeon's death scene made me think of that one scene in "Halloween 2" where Michael Myers uses boiling water to kill a nurse at the hospital. I turn away from the screen when that scene pops up. I can handle reading gore but seeing it in movies. dramas or video games just disgust me.

Chapter 9: Not going to lie but I like how everyone is suspecting one another to be the killer. They don't realize that they're slowly making it easier for the killer to get rid of them.
I think I, maybe, kind of got an idea who one of the killers might be. Something that happens in this chapter made me realize that the person is doing it as revenge for what the others did to them.

Chapter 8: No offense to Sung Yeol, Seong Yeon, and Mira but that is no way to prove someone is a killer, it's more of falsely accusing an innocent. I like how Hyun Mi points out how she trust Woo Hyun and knows he isn't the killer.
I still wonder how can Sung Yeol tell that it's Suho based on the killer's height, some of the other guys might be a similar height. Then I suddenly have a thought that maybe the killer could be one of the girls.

Chapter 7: I'm getting the idea that everyone on the plane must have or may have once committed a crime and the killer is delivering their form of justice against them. Also, something tells me that plan to fake a death might backfire and the person who pretends might die from it.
Since I watch a lot of horror/thriller films, I feel like there might be more than one killer. Like one does the killing and the other one kind of tells the killer where the victims are.

Chapter 6: I feel like elevators are the most dangerous unexpected weapon to kill a person because you never know when something bad will happen when you're in one.
I also began noticing that all the characters say something that makes me suspicious of them. It's like very common of each of them to begin accusing one another because the person they suspect does something suspicious, that might end up backfiring on them especially if they're wrong about the culprit.

Chapter 5: I still find it weird for people to be doing "things" in an airplane bathroom.
The part where Eun Kyung hit Hee-Jin made me nearly think Hee-Jin might be the next to die. I like how she talked back to Eun Kyung who cheated on Min Seok first but have the nerve to get angry at Hee-Jin when it's her actions that lead to Min Seok getting to know Hee-Jin.

Chapter 4: I feel like the body count is increasing since it looks like 3 people died in this chapter.
No offense to Eun Kyung but if you're trying to rekindle the love you and Min Seok had then you shouldn't be thinking of starting something with another guy.
