“Gate G4 for flight SM 4959 heading to Barcelona is now ready for boarding.”

The female removed her lips from the microphone and leaned back on her chair with slight anxiety after the announcement. Her long slender fingers kept fiddling against her newly washed and dry-cleaned flight attendant uniform. It was a beautiful darker shade of maroon that contrasted flawlessly against her pale skin. The skirt for all female crew members was quite short compared to the normal standards, and she wondered how it even passed the ethical check-up procedure; not that she minded though, it was cuter this way. It even came with a silky golden kerchief that was neatly tied around her neck. Everything had to be perfect today.   “Nervous?” A deep voice appeared from behind her.   The girl looked up to see the two pilots of today’s trip and flashed them a friendly smile. “I am not worried about Kris oppa, but I’m more nervous because you’re the pilot. You are pretty known to wreck things, Kim Nam Joon,” she spoke with a teasing tone and giggled to herself.   Nam Joon gave her a surprised stare but decided to laugh along. “Hee-Jin, I may wreck things, but I don’t wreck airplanes. People’s lives are at stake.” He stressed the last sentence to show how serious he was with his career.   Kris remained silent as he kept nodding in agreement.   “I know.” Hee-Jin’s giggling session came to a halt as she continued to look at him. “I’m just pressured since this is a new flight, and out of everyone we were picked as the crew.”   “Think positive, unnie. That means we’re special,” another female voice appeared from her side, giving her a small pat. Mimi was always known to be touchy with people she loved, and with strangers, it did not matter to her. “We just need to do our jobs well and serve people in a way they won’t ever forget.”   Nam Joon squinted his eyes, watching her wink. “The last time you tried that to that feminine looking man who carried an Anna pillow, you almost got fired,” he reminded her.   “Can’t help it,” Mimi shrugged oh-so-innocently before she smirked. “When the urge is there, you gotta satisfy it.”   “The lavatory has become people’s favorite spot lately,” another female voice joined in. The youngest among their crew appeared with an equally suggestive smirk as she looked at Mimi.   “Wait, what? How do you know?” Hee-Jin asked.   “Just because the doors can be locked doesn’t mean it’s soundproof,” Hyerim shrugged, having heard way too much while she was on duty. “Apparently this new plane has special designed restrooms that are soundproof.”   “Ah… Seems I might test it out then,” Mimi winked at them, making Hee-Jin flustered and red at her words alone. “You might want to try it too, unnie.”   “W-what? No…” Hee-Jin placed her hand against her cheeks to cover her blush. This should be the least of her concern right now.   “Can we stop talking about this please? As the only male crew member, I feel uncomfortable,” Kyung Soo spoke up.   “Sorry, I got scheduled to replace Sung Jong at the last minute,” Hyesun, a fellow female flight attendant, answered with a small laugh.   “It’s okay, Kyung Soo oppa, you’d be the eye candy for the female passengers,” Mimi said and winked, ignoring the evil stare coming from the squishy boy.   “Let’s get ready,” Hee-Jin reminded them to stay on track as she motioned towards the exit door. She watched them leave one by one, letting out a small sigh as she waited for her turn to go.   Since this was a new type of flight company, the way she and the fellow crewmembers performed would determine the fate of Siren Moros, which was a very peculiar name choice for a company. It was supposedly a luxurious type of vehicle that was smaller in quantity, but higher in quality. Every seat was up to par as those of a regular business or first class seats. To be able to serve in this high-class airplane itself was a great honor.   “Don’t worry, you’ll do well,” Kris spoke kindly to encourage her before they left to get ready for their post.     After the announcement was made in the late afternoon, the boarding room was filled with several people who were either in a suit, hidden behind their sunglasses, or too casual to actually care. Though they were mere strangers, they had one thing in common: their incredible luck to obtain a ticket to go to Barcelona for free. For marketing purposes, Siren Moros decided to give free tickets to get the word-of-mouth starting in order to gain free publicity through its passengers.   Aside from that fact, Hwang Yerin had noticed something else. As a renowned journalist who was usually sent on the field for the most dangerous, contradicting, and unwanted cases, she was now sent to write an article about the new plane. She was not a travelling blogger nor a flight reviewer, if that was even an occupation, thus found it weird her boss had given her the tickets to go on his behalf.   What was even stranger was the fact that she could recognize almost everyone in the room as they waited to board the luxurious plane itself. As a journalist, she occasionally dealt with people from various fields and had several profiles memorized in her head. She wasn’t too sure about the faces though, but she knew some were a match. Take for example the noisy couple who were sitting at the very front row of the room; probably the first ones to get there.   “Let’s play a game!” the female had suggested out of the blue as she shot her hand up in the air with excitement.   “Hyun Mi, how old are you to still be doing this?” the guy next to her asked with a chuckle as he quickly pulled her hand down, looking around him to see some people staring at them. Some of those people even send them hateful and deadly glares, and it made him unwilling to let go of her in case if something were to happen.   “That doesn’t matter, Woo Hyun, just play with me,” Hyun Mi whined as she slightly began to hit his arm, but stopped immediately. A teasing grin appeared on her face. “Unless, you’re scared of losing? Don’t worry, for you, I will lose on purpose.”   “Ya!” Woo Hyun began to protest as he grabbed hold of both her hands to stop her, his grin never leaving his face. “I’ll play depending on what I get as prize.”   “Hooo… Are you so confident you’d win?” Hyun Mi teased and looked around her to look for something worthy enough to become a prize. “What kind of prize would be good enough-”   “Wait, I don’t think this will work out. I already got the biggest prize of all; you,” Woo Hyun spoke as he stared lovingly at Hyun Mi who was momentarily stunned at his words before she started to giggle bashfully and continued to hit him out of happiness.   Yerin cringed and made a face at the sight. Based on what she remembered, those two were pretty well-known as a power couple. Nam Woo Hyun was one of the leading politicians having a high position for the democratic bureau, and always earned people’s vote for being a favorite. He was one of those who was known to have a clean record. Despite his girlfriend’s child-like love for games, Jang Hyun Mi was one of the most sought-after motivational speakers who was often invited to top university graduations, political business events, and even to hospitals to speak some encouragement to dying patients. They worked together very well and helped build each others’ good reputation.   “Excuse me,” a guy who was sitting in front of the cheesy couple suddenly spoke. The only correct adjective to describe him was: handsome. He looked like one of those Renaissance statues in a real human form, but much cuter. He had a stoic expression the entire time, but there was some revulsion written on it now. “When we’re doing the photoshoot, we won’t have to deal with all of this, right?”   “Please answer no, or I will have to step down from my job,” the girl next to him muttered as she flipped her long brown dyed hair backwards.   The other girl to his other side with medium length red hair just kept quiet, but it was clear she longed for it to stop as well.   It was easy to recognize the three of them since they were rising stars in the start-up industries. It hadn’t even been a year since Kim Myung Soo opened L’Studio, a photography studio that offered all type of creative services for a high price. But due to his excellent output, clients trusted him and kept returning. Next to him was Kang Seul Yi, the girl who was known to have worked as a fashion stylist with popular artists such as SNSD and Beast. She decided to quit her job and started working with Myung Soo instead since they got acquainted during a fashion show. The red haired girl was Lim Ae Mi, dubbed as the Rembrandt of the digital design world. Not only did she have an amazing feel as a creative director, but her usage of lighting was as admirable as Rembrandt himself. Yerin wondered why they were here.   “We’re gonna be stuck with you until the end of your pre-wedding photoshoots, so please let us live,” Seul Yi said, referring to the way she had to hold herself from vomiting whenever the two spoke a cheesy line. Perhaps that was what happened when a charismatic politician and a motivational speaker came together.   “We’ll tone it down,” Hyun Mi grinned sheepishly at them, a little bit apologetical. “Do you guys wanna join the game?”   Seul Yi had a moment of hesitation as she watched Myung Soo, ready to follow his lead.   “I’ll pass,” the guy spoke calmly.   “Me too,” Ae Mi added.   “I’ll just watch,” Seul Yi also declined as she sat back against her chair.   “I’ll join! I’ll join!” A girl walked up to them in her red checkered blouse. Everyone noticed her short dark hair and the way she had dyed the tips of it as red as her own blouse as it bounced while she ran.   “Me too!” another guy, resembling a cute puppy,  immediately took a seat on the empty chair next to Hyun Mi, making her gasp in surprise at his sight.   “Omo! Aren’t you…. Byun Baek Hyun?” she asked, clasping her hands in front of to stop herself from yelling.   “Oh, you recognize me? Am I that famous now?” The guy named Baek Hyun scratched the back of his head bashfully.   “I was just clicking through random YouTube videos and saw one where you jumped over 7 men. Then I found out you were actually a Hapkido champion! Black belt and all. You even have your own academy, right?” Hyun Mi proved she had read a little too much about him.   “It still means you were interested enough to look it up. Are you a fan?” Baek Hyun squinted his eyes playfully at her before his vision got blocked when Woo Hyun came in sight.   “Dude, don’t hit on my fiancée,” Woo Hyun spoke as Baek Hyun’s eyes widened in shock at the newfound fact.   “Whoaaaa… I did not think this was the kind of game I signed up for,” the short haired girl commented as she watched them with curiosity. When she noticed the others looking at her, she returned with an equally confused gaze. “P-please carry on. I’d like to see where this is going.”   “Wait, you look familiar too,” Seul Yi suddenly commented as she began to hum to herself to dig in the deepest depth of her memories to remember. “Choi Sohee! I saw you on TV once!”   “That isn’t something I would want to be remembered by,” Sohee answered with desperation.   “You were told to diagnose and hypnotize someone on national television, but you got it wrong and failed,” Seul Yi remembered it clearly and began to laugh. “My brains are usually not very good, but that was one thing I couldn’t forget.”   “Being a psychiatrist is hard, you know! And that was one year after I became a certified psychiatrist,” Sohee spoke in her own defense, flailing her arms to the point it almost hit a random passerby whom she immediately recognized. “Ho Seok, I’m so sorry!”   “That’s alright,” the guy answered with a goofy grin. Apparently the two were already acquainted as he squatted next to Sohee, placing his face close to hers to stare at the others. “What’s going on here?”   “We’re about to kill boredom, wanna join?” Baek Hyun asked.   “Kill is a strong word,” Ho Seok muttered as he sat down properly next to his friend. “What are we playing? Monopoly?”   “No!” Sohee immediately protested, giving him a look. “I know what you are, what you do, and where you’re from. We’re not playing it.”   “Why?” Ae Mi spoke up in curiosity.   “He is a financial advisor, one of the best,” Sohee said as she used her jazz hands skill to present her friend. “Even when a business is failing, he is able to save it. He knows all the tricks and methods to monopolize the industry for the better.”   With every compliment Sohee spoke, Ho Seok kept posing in different ways to acknowledge it. After the others laughed and applauded, he went back to normal. “So where did you guys leave off?” he asked.   “With me defending myself,” Sohee answered as she turned to the others again, mainly Seul Yi. “I was nervous that day, okay? In real life, I could correctly identify you all. If you tell me a lie, I might probably be able to figure it out.”   “Shouldn’t you be a detective then?” Woo Hyun asked.   “No, no, I only had enough money to pay for one major, so psychology it was,” Sohee answered, making the others laugh.   Yerin let a small scoff escape her lips as she was ready to avert her attention from them. At that rightful moment, she heard the boisterous laughter of the people beside her. There were four men in suits as a neatly dressed woman was stuck sitting between them. The one sitting beside her did not realize his foot had kicked over his expensive looking black leather briefcase as it fell against Yerin’s foot.   Yerin sighed at the the carelessness as she reached out to remove the item away from her.   “Don’t touch that!”   The deep voice that led the laughter previously, suddenly shouted at her. It was so loud and so sudden it made Yerin freeze her hand midair, giving him a surprised look. When she noticed the guy staring back at her with his round eyes, the color of dark hazelnut, she realized how good-looking he was.   “Sorry, I just don’t like it when people touch my stuff,” he said as he quickly took his briefcase and guarded it on his lap. It covered the name tag he had around his neck, but before it did, she vaguely read ‘Happy Pill’ on it. She instantly remembered them for being the biggest pharmaceutical company that was funded by the government to invent and research new medicine.   “Understandable, but you didn’t have to yell like that,” Yerin said, giving him a look. As the guy smiled apologetically, she had to hold the urge to smile along with him. Something about his smile was just so bright and infectious.   “Sorry,” he said again. “Should I make it up to you? I can get you some coffee.”   “Oohh, our Ch

Chapter 14: I finally finished this today! This might be my top favorite mystery story here.
I also read the blog posts about the random facts of the story and I love how much research is put into the story. I like the foreshadowing used in scenes that I never paid close attention to like how the killers did their thing without no one suspecting them.
Of course, I will be reading the prequel, "The Target".

Chapter 12: I guess I was right about who Sheep is but I didn't expect who Wolfie is. Remember how in one of my earlier comments I mentioned how I suspected one person of being a killer.
Mira and Sohee are like the examples of friends for life but when it comes to death, one wants to survive and won't hesitate to get rid of the other to make sure they live longer.

Chapter 11: I started this story with Hee-Jin being a character whose storyline I'm interested in but now it's Hyun Mi who caught my interest. I nearly thought she did die in this chapter but luckily she's still alive. I like how Hee-Jin is taking her relationship with Minseok slow, it might also be because she doesn't want to get together with him after Eun Kyung died.
Mira and Hyerim found one killer, which means one of the other survivors is the 2nd one.

Chapter 10: Is it bad that I hate Hyerim because of how she manipulates Seong Yeon? Also, poor Hyun Mi, she lost the love of her life.
Reading about Seong Yeon's death scene made me think of that one scene in "Halloween 2" where Michael Myers uses boiling water to kill a nurse at the hospital. I turn away from the screen when that scene pops up. I can handle reading gore but seeing it in movies. dramas or video games just disgust me.

Chapter 9: Not going to lie but I like how everyone is suspecting one another to be the killer. They don't realize that they're slowly making it easier for the killer to get rid of them.
I think I, maybe, kind of got an idea who one of the killers might be. Something that happens in this chapter made me realize that the person is doing it as revenge for what the others did to them.

Chapter 8: No offense to Sung Yeol, Seong Yeon, and Mira but that is no way to prove someone is a killer, it's more of falsely accusing an innocent. I like how Hyun Mi points out how she trust Woo Hyun and knows he isn't the killer.
I still wonder how can Sung Yeol tell that it's Suho based on the killer's height, some of the other guys might be a similar height. Then I suddenly have a thought that maybe the killer could be one of the girls.

Chapter 7: I'm getting the idea that everyone on the plane must have or may have once committed a crime and the killer is delivering their form of justice against them. Also, something tells me that plan to fake a death might backfire and the person who pretends might die from it.
Since I watch a lot of horror/thriller films, I feel like there might be more than one killer. Like one does the killing and the other one kind of tells the killer where the victims are.

Chapter 6: I feel like elevators are the most dangerous unexpected weapon to kill a person because you never know when something bad will happen when you're in one.
I also began noticing that all the characters say something that makes me suspicious of them. It's like very common of each of them to begin accusing one another because the person they suspect does something suspicious, that might end up backfiring on them especially if they're wrong about the culprit.

Chapter 5: I still find it weird for people to be doing "things" in an airplane bathroom.
The part where Eun Kyung hit Hee-Jin made me nearly think Hee-Jin might be the next to die. I like how she talked back to Eun Kyung who cheated on Min Seok first but have the nerve to get angry at Hee-Jin when it's her actions that lead to Min Seok getting to know Hee-Jin.

Chapter 4: I feel like the body count is increasing since it looks like 3 people died in this chapter.
No offense to Eun Kyung but if you're trying to rekindle the love you and Min Seok had then you shouldn't be thinking of starting something with another guy.
