SM Entertainment revealed the fifth competitor of its survival series "grandeur" with a teaser video!

Video Transcript:

Interviewer: Why did you join grandeur?
Skye: I've been training for 5 years now and this is a great opportunity to display my talents and make my mark on the stage! *giggles slightly before continuing* and also, I'm actually really excited for this, although a survival show may be daunting, I'm ready to take on the challenge!

I: What makes you stand out from the rest of the contestants?
S: My hair of course! *flips back the ends of my hair to display the dark brown to red ombre* just kidding! Um... *hums slightly as I think* I can speak Japanese fluently? *demonstrates quickly by introducing herself in Japanese* oh and lastly, I’ll be your favorite one! *clicks her tongue while pointing at the camera with her index fingers* haha I'm kidding!

I: Do you think you can stay until the end?
S: That is, I hope so! If I can't make the final line-up then it may be my last shot of fulfilling my dreams as an idol... *for a moment the unique spark in her eyes is replaced with a sullen look but quickly returning back to her 25/8 smile* but that'll mean I have to work harder to make it! Hwaiting! *holds up an encouraging fist*

I: Do you have a message to the viewers?
S: Ah, please look forward to our talented girls and encourage us to improve and grow as artists! I look forward to your feedback and advice! *beams* also to my parents in busan, saranghae! *makes a big heart*

I: A message to you fellow competitors?
S: I hope for the best for my fellow members though this survival show, so here's the best of luck! *pretends to be passing out luck* it's been a great 4 years so far, and I'm excited to see how far we can go together! *drops voice to a low whisper and brings hand up as if to tell a secret* and psst-- Lexie and Joo unnie, don't fret; you'll do amazing! *thumbs up*
