While outside the airport I felt useless, I didn't know what to do, all I wanted to do was go back home with my parents, I didn't know who to contact and I didn't know how to use the public transportation here in Korea, which was something that I needed to learn since I would not be living on campus. Why must this happen to me, do I really have that much bad luck? I have always been smart but not really confident. All I can say I was book smart but not street smart, all I could do right now was remember how people teased me and how I hardly had any friends. In reality it didn't matter, I came to Korea to study and forget my loneliness back home they only part I miss was my parents. Hopefully living on my own would boost my confidence also hopefully I make new friends and find a reason to be alive, other than my parents. I wanted to forget about the place and the people that surrounded me back home those places and people only brought back painful memories of being teased and my self-steem shrinking to almost disappearing. The little self-steem I had left was only because I was smart and got good grades but that didn't bring me happiness let alone people only looked to become my "friends" to get help with assignments and after that those people that claimed to be my friends would banish. The little happiness I had besides my parents was my focus on ballet and piano, those two aspects of my life could always bring me up when I was down. Now I just hoped that my time in Korea would make me forget about the teasing and hopefully make me grow into a happier productive person. Now back to reality I didn't know what to do, i dint know how to get to my new apartment the only thing I had with me was the address, and i did not have enough money with me. I only had a bit of money until my parents would send me more. They told me they would send me money once I was settled in and the little money they gave me was just for food. All of the sudden i felt a tap on my shoulder I was startled and once I turned around I see the same man I saw when I went to the restroom. I was scared maybe he was mad at the fact I bump into him and he wants me to apologize once more, but to my surprise I see a bright smile on his face that makes me feel better.
" Annyeonghaseyo! My name is Sehun, I couldn't help but noticed that you might need help".
He had the voice of and angel , I was perplex, how did he know I needed help. Omg his voice made me melt on the inside. I stared at him and words could not come out of my mouth.
" hey, are you mute? why are you looking at me like that? don't stare people could recognize me!"
I didn't know what he meant by people could recognize him, but while looking at him , in a way he looked familiar, but then again how would i know such a handsome guy. It took al of my strength and willpower to talk to him, and at the same time I could feel my face warm up.
" ah annyeonghaseyo!, Im sorry sorry , my name is Aria." I shyly look at the floor " you look familiar, like I've seen you somewhere, and how do you know I need help." I look back at him and look at him , his warm stare make me get butterflies.
" oh, I couldn't help but to over hear your conversation over the phone" he replied.
" That's a bit creepy" I said jokingly.
I hear a gentle laugh and that made laugh on the inside.
" you're not from here are you?" he asked.
" No, I came to Korea to attend a semester at Ewha Womans University." He looked at me with admiration and gave me big bright smile.
" That is really exciting I bet, also a bit scary."
" Yes, it is. I don't know anyone here and the person that the school was supposed to send to get me cant make it."
" I can help with that, do you know where you will be staying.?" Once he asked I nodded and gave him the slip of paper where I had written the address. I was not scared of getting abducted, with his bright smile all my worries melted away.
" Thats near where I will be saying with my hyungs, mind if we give you a ride.?"
