“Wait what?” You froze in place. Hanbin smiled, “You didn’t know? I thought you overheard us talking yesterday?” You were right. Hanbin doesn’t like you. Bobby does. “S-So I heard correctly…then…” Your face fell. Hanbin chuckled, “Yeah I was going to tell you the rest of the story. Bobby and me promised each other that we would help each other to find a girl. We both have bad luck with girls. They either don’t like us or they end up liking the wrong guy. So that’s when we decided to get each other girls…”

“I-I-I didn’t know t-that…” The words were barely able to come out of your mouth. You looked as if you were trembling. As you neared class you didn’t want to go in. “You go to class…I-I gotta go.” You ran away as far as your legs could take you. You didn’t want to see him. You didn’t want to see anyone. The tears fell from your eyes one by one. As you ran up the stairs you bumped into someone, “I’m so sorry…” You quickly started to pick up the books that had fell. “Hani-ah?” You looked up. “Jinhwan oppa?”

You two made your way to the rooftop. “What happened Hani? You looked as if you were crying?” Jinhwan’s voice made up for everything bad that was happening. He sounded like an angel. “I-I don’t know why I’m crying actually…something happened and I just ran away and as I was running away I began crying.”

Jinhwan chuckled, “Let me take a guess? Boy trouble?” Your eyes widened as he had guessed it on point, “H-how did you know? You’re a psychic oppa!” He laughed at your wide eyes, “If you opened them any further I think your eyes balls would fall out. Who’s the boy? Does he go here? You want me to beat him up for you?” You chuckled at his words, “Are you my older brother?” He shook his head, “No but I could be!” He grinned which made it seem a little mysterious coming from him.

“Well I don’t know if you know him but he does go here. His name is Kim Hanbin.” You spoke quieter and quieter when you noticed the shock coming from Jinhwan’s face, “Is there something wrong? Is he a bad kid or something? You know him?” Jinhwan blinked a couple times before he answered, “Yeah I know him…he’s my brother.”

“WHAT? Oppa he’s your brother? HOW? You guys don’t even look that alike.” You froze again waiting for his answer, “He’s my younger brother…but he’s taller than me…and looks older.” You laughed, “That’s so weird…I never would’ve guessed.” He smiled, “No one does, but he did tell me something about this girl…I guess it was you? He likes you huh?” You awkwardly smiled, “No…he likes my friend…” As you looked down to the ground Jinhwan couldn’t help but evilly smile, “That’s so sad…why not you? You’re perfect!” You looked up to see him smile gently, “Oppa you’re the best!”

He chuckled, “Let’s get going shall we? I’m sure you’ll find a way to steal his heart back! Plus Bobby likes you right?” You nodded, “That’s true…but Bobby is just like a friend…” Jinhwan winked, “Then use him to get Hanbin!” You lightly hit Jinhwan, “Oppa how can you say that! That sounds so rude!” He laughed at your politeness. As you walked around campus with Jinhwan by your side you noticed a bunch of girls looking at you, “Oppa…is it just me or am I getting glared at?”

“Sorry about that…I think you are…the girls here really love seeing me being a complete loner. I can’t even seem to have a friend. This would happen to Hanbin too so him and I don’t talk at school. He doesn’t like this attention.” You nodded, “I can tell…I wouldn’t either.”

He dropped you off at your next class and took off. You walked in noticing the girls whispering things before you made your way to your seat next to Minyoung. “Where were you? I was worried…Hanbin told me at lunch that you ran off before class started.” You stopped her worrying, “I’m here now…I’m sorry. I should’ve told you. I met up with a friend so we just talked and I lost track of time that’s all.”

Class had started and you couldn’t help but overhear the girls that started talking about Jinhwan, “Did you hear that he was walking with that girl…she’s not even that pretty.” You chuckled to yourself as they were jealously talking about you. Class ended and you and Minyoung quickly made your way to the front.

“I know you probably don’t want to…but want to go hang out with Bobby and Hanbin today?” Minyoung asked carefully making sure you didn’t burst into tears or anything. You looked at her eyes that were pleading you to say yes. You couldn’t help it. She was your best friend. Were you really going to let a guy destroy your friendship with her? You thought no but your heart still hurt, “Yeah let’s go…”

Surprisingly Minyoung smiled wide, “LET’S GO!” She linked arms with you as she dragged you to the front. When you reached the front you noticed Hanbin was in the back seat. You decided to pull yourself to the front seat so Minyoung could sit next to Hanbin. As you sat down Bobby looked at your short skirt and covered it with his hoodie, “You aren’t cold?” You smiled at him while shaking your head, “I’m fine.”

As the two in the back were talking freely with each other all you could think of was Jinhwan’s advice, “Just use him. Make him jealous.” You laughed at yourself, in your mind, for thinking of such things. Instead you decided to start a conversation with Bobby, “Where are we going?” Bobby looked over at you with a cute smile on his face, “Our favorite place to study…you got any homework or a test coming up?”

As you sat there thinking it finally hit you, “Actually I have a project that’s due in a couple days with Hanbin…” You didn’t look back at him because you could feel him stare. Bobby smiled, “Aww…so he gets to steal you?” Hinting that he was normally a flirty boy you shyly flirted back, “I’m sorry~ I wanted to spend time with you too!”

Bobby who was taken back was grinning from ear to ear, “Your cute Hani~”
