It's Like Looking in a Mirror. Only...NotSwish!
Standing by the free throw line, Mingyu felt his eyes widen and jaw drop in delight. The shock of the sudden three-pointer being scored by a member of his own team caused the entire court to pause momentarily before cheers erupted from all over. Alongside his teammates, the Seventeen member felt himself hurdling towards the Kangin, who lively celebrated with a loud, boisterous chuckle as he high fived the other players from their team. With his right hand outstretched as far as possible, Mingyu internally braced himself for what seemed to be a powerful (and perhaps even painful- if judging by the immediate winces from some of his fellow teammates) high five.
Yet, just as he cracked one eye open, expecting to catch a glimpse of the Super Junior member’s delighted expression followed by their hands connecting in a high five full of camaraderie, his eyes were met with a head of sweaty and messy black hair, while his right hand continued to plow through the nothingness of air. Once again, the stadium erupted into cheers and even the announcers of the basketball game sounded ecstatic, especially Leeteuk, who was most definitely not utterly biased towards for his fellow Super Junior member and friend, as indicated by the excessively loud (and definitely not biased) cheers he had been making whenever Kangin scored a basket or appeared on the jumbotron for even a slight second.
Right hand outstretched once more, Mingyu found himself racing towards the veteran idol along with the other players. Though he mentally expected a sense of déjà vu once more, he (or more particularly his outstretched hand) was met with a sudden, as well as painful, slap as the blue haired teen celebrated with Kangin via high five. Just as he ran past the older man, Mingyu himself gradually slowing down before coming to a halt in the middle of the cou
