It's 6 am on a Sunday and I’m wide awake. The first person I remembered was Reya. So I called her.

“Lay, good morning” She answered in the first two rings

“You awake?”

“No, totally asleep. I’m a computer program talking instead” I smiled. She’s really something else.

“Sorry for asking the obvious ma’am”

“Why did you call this early?”

“Can’t I call you?”

“Well, I’m a really busy person”

“Yeah, I see how busy you are. Waking in the morning and going to work. Coming back home and filling your stomach. Real busy” Did I just tell all that?

“Darn, are you really the innocent lamb everyone calls you?”

“Well, one doesn’t need to show their true self on-screen… So where are you?”

“Convenient store near the park.”

“What are you doing there?” I got up from the bed and headed to the balcony

“Had a run. Thirsty so convenient store”

“Well, well, well, look what we found here. This heartless girl of New York.” My brows creased listening to a distant unfamiliar voice.

“You again?” I heard Ray groan in disgust. What’s happening there?

“So, Nathan isn’t enough and now you have some other guy around you ha?”
