DuplicityA week later, she found herself sitting with Nichkhun at a nearby restaurant. Their team was leaving for a debate tournament in a neighboring school and had decided to leave school early to grab lunch. The rest of their team had gone to place their orders and it left Sohee and Nichkhun alone. The two were just chatting comfortably when someone with National High's uniform walked in. Sohee turned and her eyes met Kiko's. She wanted to hide under the table but there was no use. Kiko had seen her and she waved at them, a happy look on her face. Sohee returned the wave weakly before it dawned on her that if Kiko was happy, it means trouble for her.

'Oh geez. This guy and his temper...' she sighed to herself as she followed suit quietly. The weather had gotten cold and she was starting to not be able to feel her slipper-covered feet. They kept walking in complete silence for a few blocks. All the while, Sohee contemplated when would be the right time to call out to Jiyong and ask him to stop, but she could practically feel the anger seeping through his every pore as he walked ahead of her and she wasn’t ready to face his wrath. They finally walked into a coffee shop and she gratefully sat down across from him, rubbing her arms to quicken the warm up process. He glanced at her for a second before scoffing. "What?" she finally blurted. She was getting a little miffed at his silence. He turned to face her. "Why are you always so cold?" he asked instead, his tone accusing and annoyed. "Because it's winter?" she answered, gesturing towards outside, "It's ridiculously cold today..." she added quietly before warming up her freezing nose. "No, you're just always cold," he retorted back, referring to his casual sweatshirt and sweatpants a
