Jisoo calls you in to dinner. You smile, jumping up. "Jisoo's cooking!"

Seungcheol laughs. "He's good, isn't he?"

You nod furiously as you rush out to the dining table.

Ahh, Jisoo really is a good cook.

"Thank you, Jisoo!" you say as you finish off the rest of your dinner.

Jisoo smiles, and Seungcheol laughs.

"I think you just converted her from a slow eater to a fast one, Jisoo."

You grin.

Jisoo chuckles. "Perhaps I have."

You lie awake, and how could you sleep? You saw Seungcheol properly again for the first time all week. You got new glasses, saw his groups performance, even nearly kissed him…. Stop. No, you think. You only met him last week! Surely he was just being sweet. Surely.

"(y/n)? Wake up..."

You open your eyes and reach for your glasses instinctively. Seungcheol's face comes into focus. "S-Seungcheol?"

"Hey…" he says, keeping his voice down so as not to disturb you too much, "Do you still wanna come watch us at dance practice? We're leaving soon."

You blink a couple of times and take in your surroundings. You're buried under the covers of the bed you've been sleeping in, with Seungcheol leaning over you, gazing down at you. You gaze back, taking in every aspect of his face. His beautiful deep brown eyes, pale skin, messy hair, and perfect red lips. And the vague scent of green tea.

"You okay?" he asks you.

You take a deep breath in, and out, looking straight into his eyes.

"Yeah…"

"So you wanna come?"

You smile. "Yep!"

You sit up in bed and he stands up. You rub your eyes a little and yawn. He chuckles. "Cutie…"

"Hey! I heard that!"

He laughs, walking to the door. "You've got ten minutes, okay?"

He shuts the door and leaves you alone. You jump out of bed and hurry to get dressed before rushing out to see everyone waiting for you. "(y/n)! Slept in, eh?" says Hansol.

You laugh. "Uh huh!" Your eyes flick to Seungcheol. He smiles.
"Come on, (y/n)! Are we going or not?"

You smile. "Sure."

It's not very far to the studio, so you walk there. You have a little trouble keeping up with the group, but they always wait for you. You smile as they talk and point out different things to you. Seungcheol doesn't say much, but slides his hand into yours. You look down at your hand, and he smiles, looking down at you. "What?"

You laugh, flicking your eyes up to meet his. "Nothing! I'm just really happy today."

He smiles. "You look happy."

You smile back.

You walk together the rest of the way to the studio, making pleasant small talk. As you arrive, you see the other boys waiting for you. "You two done?" asks Chan, laughing a little.  You look to the other boys. They're all outside the studio already, waiting for you and watching you. Some of them are laughing a little. You must have slowed down while you were… distracted.

You laugh, taking off to catch up with them. You ruffle Chan's hair as you reach them. He laughs. Seungcheol calmly walks to catch up. The smallest boy approaches you as you enter the studio.

"Soooooo, am I the third wheel, or the twelfth?" he jokes.

"Jihoon, you little jerk!" says Seungcheol, grabbing him around the waist and tickling him.

"Ahhh hey I was joking I was joking!" he screams, laughing. You smile.

"Looks like I'm the one who's third wheeling!" you reply.

The boy, whose name you now know is Jihoon, laughs. "Suuuure…"

It doesn't take them long to start dance practice. They begin with warmups, which you jokingly join in with. Then they do the dance that Seungcheol showed you. Wow… they're even better in real life than in the video. They do a couple of other dances too, but mainly they stick with that one. 'Adore U'. You smile as you watch them. It's getting a little repetitive, but they switch it up occasionally. They're just getting to the of the bridge, when Hansol and a boy you recognize as Seokmin pull you into the dance. "Baby you are my angel!" sings Seokmin as he and Hansol push Seungcheol out of the way, lifting you into the air. You spread your arms out like Seokmin does in the video, nearly laughing too much to keep them up properly. They let you drop a little, catching you so that you're sitting on their arms, the way Dino does in one of the part swaps. They carry you to the front, let you down, and then continue the dance.

Seungcheol smiles. "If you're gonna crash our dance then we should at least teach you the moves!"

"Ohmygod really?!" you exclaim.

The boys just laugh. "Of course!"

They start by showing you the chorus. It's not too hard, and it doesn't take you long to get down. Then they show you the last chorus and the second verse. You have a go at Hansol's part, trying to rap as you go. He laughs. "Nice! Now let yourself fall to the side."

"I'm not doing that bit!" you exclaim, "what if they drop me?"

"ExSCUSE me?" says Seungkwan. "(y/n), we can carry Hansol. There's no way we're going to drop you."

You laugh. "Sure, okay."

You let yourself fall to the side, and sure enough, Jeonghan picks you up by the waist, with Minghao holding up your legs and Seungkwan holding you around the shoulders. It's a strange feeling. You start laughing as they put you down.

"You do that at every show??" you ask Hansol, "it's like a crazy trust exercise!"

"Yep!" he replies, "every show!" You laugh a bit more. Of course he does.

The first verse is the most difficult. After about an 3 hours, though, you can pretty much do the whole song. Even if you can't execute it as well as the group can.

"Um, isn't anyone else hungry? Do you guys realize how far past lunchtime it is??" says Minghao.

"Oh god you're right," agrees Wonwoo. The others nod and you decide to stop for lunch.

You make your lunch stop at a couple of different places. The food is delicious, and you relish it. The boys eat happily. It doesn't take long for you all to finish.

"You guys want ice-cream?" asks Seungcheol.
"Yeah!" they cheer. You smile.

"Sure."

Seungcheol looks at you and grins.

It takes you a little while, but eventually you choose green tea ice cream. Seungcheol has chocolate. You smile. "Hey, you've got a little bit of…" he trails off, pointing towards your mouth.

"Oh?" you ask, "here?" You your lips. "Gone?"

He laughs. "Nope!"

Just as he moves a hand to wipe your face, Minghao pops up.

"I have a napkin?" he says, holding it up.

You laugh. "Thanks Minghao."

Seungcheol lowers his hand.

Hansol follows Minghao and comes to sit with you.

"Hey hyung," Hansol says to Seungcheol, "did (y/n) tell you she can rap?"

Seungcheol pauses. "She what?"

"She can rap."

Seungcheol turns to you, and you begin to turn red. "You can rap?"

"Uh, not really…"

"Yes really!" insists Hansol, "I gave her a bit of a rap lesson, and she's really good!"

You look down. Hansol why….

"Come on. Show him!" Hansol pleads with you.

You make a face at Hansol, but he just shrugs back at you.

"Please?" asks Seungcheol.

You sigh. "Sure…"

Hansol mutters. Damnit Hansol.

You begin, rapping Hansol's part in Ah Yeah because it's the only rap he's given you coaching on. As you continue, some of the other boys start to come over and listen. You finish, and a few of them clap. Seungcheol just sits there, looking at you. You feel your face going a little pink. "That was… great," he tells you. You smile, but say nothing. You don't know what to say.

"Told you she's good," says Hansol.

Seungcheol laughs a little. "Uh huh!"

He pauses. "Do you think we should get going now? I'm sure we've all got things to do and we've finished lunch."

The others agree, and you begin the walk back home.

You sigh. It's a much longer walk than you remember. Perhaps you are just tired from dancing.

"Are you alright?"

You turn to see Seungcheol's concerned face looking back at you. You sigh again.

"Yeah. Just tired."

He pauses for a moment. "Want a piggy-back?"

You stop and look at him. He looks back at you with innocent eyes, turning around and crouching down. You sigh. You really are tired. Giving in, you climb on his back, wrapping your arms around him. He stand up, keeping a secure hold of your legs, and keeps walking. "Thanks…" you whisper.

He chuckles. "No problem."

You lean your head on his shoulder, breathing in the scent of green tea. Your eyes flutter closed as the swaying of his weight shifting from leg to leg nearly rocks you to sleep. "Hey…(y/n)" you hear him say, "We're back."

You look around. You must have actually fallen asleep, because you're already in the main room of the house. You slide off Seungcheol's back and sit down on one of the couches, letting your eyes close again and thinking about what just happened. The scent of green tea lingers in your mind.

"(y/n)?!" You hear Seungcheol calling from the other room. "You'd better come see this." You stand up, making your way to the room you've been sleeping in to find Seungcheol standing next to a cardboard box.

"What?" you ask him, "what's the matter?"

"Look," he says.

You kneel down next to the box and open it. Your clothes. The box is filled with your clothes. You think for a minute. Everything you own is in that box.

"I got a call from my manager," says Seungcheol. You can hear his voice shaking a little. "Pledis wants you to leave."
