Let it go...?

Unpredictable

Pacey's POV:

Once I heard the words "Blind Date" come out of Andres's mouth, I KNEW I was gonna dread his offer. He, along with my other friends, knew about my "Things that I ABSOLUTLY do not trust!" list, which 'blind dating' ranked number two on; right underneath Dogs. It's not that I was against dating guys, I would TOTALLY love to finally have a boyfriend! It's just that, to me, dating is like finding your soulmate that God made for you, and I like to think that he kind of puts us in his own verson of a Kdrama where we've already met the person at least ONCE before we actually fall in love. Plus, I don't want my heart getting cracked by a guy that I don't even know that well. I take relationships seriously, and my friends know that.

So why the H-E-double-hockey-sticks was this nut-job trying to hook me up on a BLIND DATE?!

I narrowed my eyes at him. "Really...? Tell me, just- WHY would you think I, Pacey Monroe, would have the patience and interest to go on a BLIND DATE...?"

He ignored the hint of venom in my voice. "BECAUSE! Just about every single day I hear you at least ONCE say something on the lines of 'Man, I need to get a boyfriend. That seem like fun...' BUT whenever people ask you out you reject them and insist that they become your friends first!"

I tried fighting back. "That's because all of them were strangers to me at the time and after we got to know each other, I- just... didn't feel any sparks! That's all! At least we were able to became good friends because of it!"

"Yeah, I'm one of them. remember?" I saw a quick hint of pain flash in his eyes and felt a little guilty. Andres did confess to me when we first met, but, like I said earlier, I didn't know him that well. So I asked if we could be friends instead. Since then he's been the best guy friend i've ever had and I was so happy that he found a really sweet girl to date. "But that's all over because I'm your best friend. And as your best friend, it's my JOB to try and hook you up with a guy at least ONCE."

"Since when was that a 'best friends' job?" Ben asked.

"Since I became her best friend! So PLEASE, Pacey! You're the one that helped me confess to Jenny! At least let me do this for you. Hm?" Great, he started giving me Bambi eyes. And if THAT wasn't bad enough, look what happened next.

"Oh My Gosh, Pacey! You should totally give this a try!" Maya gave me one of her big toothy grins. "You've always said that you don't know what to do on a date, so this can give you practice!"

"I agree!" Gwen gave me a small smile. No! not you too! "It could be fun, Pacey! Plus, it's only a blind date. So, if you don't like the guy, you don't have to see him ever again."

I knitted my eyebrows at them. I could tell they really wanted to help me out. It was true that I really, badly wanted to have a boyfriend but the right guy just hasn't shown up yet. Maybe Maya might be right about it being good practice. And, it is only ONE date...

I looked at Ben, who hasn't said anything yet. "Ben? W-what do you think?"

"I think you should do what you want to do." He said with out any hesitation. "Noona, If you want to go ahead and give it a try, then do it. If you don't, then don't. I'm on YOUR side, Noona." I gave him a small smile and laughed when he added. "Plus, if ANY guy hurts you, I'll beat him up!"

"Thanks, kid." I knew he would do it, too. Being a year younger than me, he was like a second little brother despite the fact that his mature face made him look a couple years older.

Third Person POV:

Pacey looked around the table and met with all of their eyes while thinking.

  "Ok"

Andres, who was playing Candy Crush on his phone out of boredom while she was thinking, looked up suprised. "What?"

"I said 'Ok'." Pacey's face redend with embarrassment a bit. "I'll guess it wouldn't hurt to try it out..."

Maya and Andres screamed 'woohoos' while Andres's arm almost hit two guys from the other table who were on their way to the restroom. He quickly muttered an appology to them and then grinned at Pacey. "So, you're really willing to try?"

"Yes..." She groaned. "BUT! If I don't want to see him agian, then I don't have to. right?"

Andres nodded his head like a bobble-head. "Yep! You got it! Holy cow! This is gonna be great!" He punched the air in excitment.

"So..." Gwen had half her attention on her fries and the other half on Andres. "Who's the guy you're hooking her up with?"

"Oh My Gosh, Gwen! Don't you even KNOW that the whole point of a 'Blind Date' is that we DON'T know who the guy is?" Maya scoffed at her friend in disbelief.

"Hey, if you guys wanna know, i'll spill the beans for you right now." Andres leaned back, putting his arms behind his head and relaxed it on them.

"Then SPILL, who is it?" Maya didn't hesitate to ask, completley ignoring what she said before.

Andres looked everyone's eyes, one by one. Then slowly said a name that Pacey didn't recognize, but Ben did.

  "Park Seungjo."

After hearing that name, Ben glared at Andres. Who met his eyes with a knowing look.

"Hyung, we need to talk. NOW..." Ben got up and waited for Andres to stand before heading towards the restroom. Leaving the three girls chatting to each other on who the mistery guy could be.

 Bobby's POV:

While I ate my two hamburgers and large thing of fries, I couldn't help but notice Hanbin being quiet. Which was weird because when we all play around, he immediately wants in. Instead, he was as quiet as he is when he's concentrating on something, and every now and then his eyes would look to the right, like he was trying to hear a faint sound. I guess sitting across from him has it's benefits, 'cause when I looked over his head, I saw the group of foreigners that were here before us. I couldn't hear what they were talking about, but from how they were looking at each other and how their bodies were moving, I could tell it was some sort of game.

Omo, was Hanbin eavesdropping on them? "hehehe". I chuckled a bit, which caught the other member's, except Hanbin's, attention. They looked at me curiously as I pointed at him and then at my own ears, mouthing 'eavesdropping'. They all gave a look that said 'Is that so...'. So, instead of going back to our chatting and playing around, we just stared at Hanbin. Waiting to see if he'll notice us catching him in the act. It wasn't until what felt like five minutes later that he went to take a sip of his drink and met our eyes.

We all laughed as he gave us his poker face. He knew he got caught, but didn't want to acknowledge it. After the great laugh, we went back to chatting among ourselves and I noticed Hanbin going back to eavesdropping. Was their conversation THAT interesting?

I shrugged my shoulders and went back to eating my second hamburger. When I finished it, I felt Chanwoo poke my arm.

"Hyung, I need to use the restroom." He gave me a sheepish grin as we both knew that I was the one preventing him of climbing out of the booth we sat in.

I nodded at him. "Ok, I'll go with you. Put you mask back on, though too." Even though there's not a lot of people in the building, it wouldn't hurt to be exctra causious of sasaeng fans. Ever since a sasaeng fan followed Donghyuk into the bathroom and stole the snapback he was wearing, Hanbin made it a rule that we always went in groups of at least two.

I got up from the booth and waited for Chanwoo to climb out. Then we made our way to the other side of the fast food place, passing the foriegner's table. Which almost got me smacked in the arm by one of the guys as he was screaming with joy about something. He quickly noticed what he did.

"Oh! I'm sorry!" He bowed his head and I gestured with my hands, saying it was alright. Althought I couldn't help but think, What, is today 'Get Bobby hurt day' or something???. Chanwoo and I went back to our bathroom mission and the foriegner went back to his conversation.

In the Boy's restroom, I was happy to see that there were stalls close to the sink. They could come in handy when you need to hide all of a sudden. As Chanwoo did his business, I guarded the door. I actually had to stand there for a pretty long while, man that kid DID have to go. When he went to go wash his hand, I stood next to him and started asking him about what he thought of Hanbin eavesdropping.

"It sure is the first time i've ever seen him do that for total strangers." he chuckled and he dried his hands. "I wonder if our conversation bored him so much that he started focusing on the people behind him."

I smiled and placed my hand on my chin to pretend that I was thinking really hard. "Na~ knowing Hanbin, he probably heard his name or maybe thinks the experience could be put into a so-" Before I could finish, the door to the restroom opened with a bang. My instincts told me to hide, so I quickly and quietly grabbed Chanwoo's arm and pulled the both of us into one of the stalls. I closed the door slightly, leaving a crack and motioned Chanwoo to stand on the toilet seat's rim. Which he had trouble doing because of his hight. Ever since Mix&Match the poor kid never really stopped growing, today Junhoe always complains that he has to tip his head to see Chanwoo looking down at him.

"What the HELL are you planning, hyung?!" I heard a low, male voice say full of anger, bringing me back to the situation on the other side of the stall door.

"Nothing..." A voice higher than the first one said calmly. "I just want to help out Pacey, that's all."

Seconds later, Chanwoo and I winced as we heard a thud and a cry. Causiously, I looked through the crack in the door and saw the blonde-hair guy that I fell down on earlier pin the guy who almost slapped my arm up against the wall, choking him with his arm. The guy pinned against the wall had pain etched in his face as he looked at the younger male.

"That's a bunch load of Bull." The blonde guy finally said. "Of all the people you know, why the HELL did you choose that womanizer from your dance class!" The venom in his voice was hard to ignore. Man, he sure was mad. "Did Pacey-noona not tell you WHY she didn't like playboys?!"

  "She did."

"Then WHY are you setting her up on a blind date with one?! I thought even YOU didn't like him!!!"

The older male looked down. Not meeting the other's eyes. Even though I have no idea WHO these people are, the next thing that was said shocked both Me and Chanwoo as we looked at each other. Eyes as wide as plates.

"He threaghtened you, didn't he...?" It came out more of like a statement than a question. The older male didn't respond for a while.

"He said that if I didn't hook him up with her, then he'd fined Jenny and make sure that I regreted my decistion..."

The younger guy gasped a bit, then let go of the older male and growled with anger. "He's even going so far as to use you're Girlfriend?! Why don't you just contact the police?!"

"Because you don't know him like I do!" The older one glared at the younger. "Even IF he goes to Jail, he'll find a way to get one of his connections to do his revenge FOR him! Pacey is my best friend and I love her just as much as you do, but I also love my girlfriend. I just can't take that chance...!" Sorrow and guilt was shown in his face, and I felt sorry for the guy.

"Are you going to tell Pacey?"

The older guy gave a snarky laugh. "No, wasn't planning on it. Knowing Pacey, she'd just try and confront the guy which will difinatly get her into trouble. Which is worse."

The younger guy sighed sadly. "I agree. Let's try to plan this through so that no one gets hurt, although I wouldn't put it pass Seungjo to cheat on her if they DO end up going out. So, in the end, Pacey's the only on who gonna get hurt..."

"If that happens, I'm gonna beat him up." The older guy stated. "I don't care if his goons come after me later on. I told him if he hurts her in anyway, I was gonna come find him."

"Trust me, Hyung. You won't be alone when that day comes..."  The younger one said seriously, with a hint of smile in his voice. The older guy smiled as they slapped each other a high-five. "Thanks dude. Now let's go back, they've GOT to be thinking strange things about us since we're taking so long."

"grrrhhnnn. Yeah probably, huh..." I heard the younger one complain as they walked back out the door. I turned to Chanwoo to give him a 'What the heck did we just hear?' look but stopped when I saw the pain in his face from trying to keep his ballance on the toilet seat. I quickly opened the door to step out so he could get down. Then I went to the bathroom door and peaked my head out a bit. Good, they were both finally back in their seats. I motioned to Chanwoo to come as we exited the restroom, and we walked as far around the foreigner's table as we could. I still can't believe they didn't know we were also in the bathroom, did they seriously forget about almost hitting me in the arm earlier?

"What took you guys so long? Did one of the stalls open up and lead to Narnia or something?" Junhoe in a low toned voice as we sat back down. He then looked at the others. "I told you we should've just left without them, that would've been a great prank!"

It seem that, while we were gone, everyone had finished their food and were just waiting for us to comeback so we could all leave. I was still a bit shooken up about what I heard ealier, but still managed to plaster a smile on my face. "Hehe, sorry! Seems that Chanwoo's bladder was acting up."

"Hyung~!"

Sorry, Chanwoo I thought as I saw His face get bright red. Then I caught Hanbin's eye. I could tell that he knew I was lying, so I gave him a face that said 'I'll tell you later.'. He got the hint and nodded while standing up, motioning us to follow him. One by one the six of us climbed out of the booth and followed him towards the glass door.

When we passed the foreigner's table I saw Hanbin stop and glance at them. I looked at him confusingly and tried to follow his line of sight. Which, to me, was on the the girl sitting in the middle of their group. She had pretty blue eyes, a baby-ish face and pretty wavy, dirty-blonde hair that curved around her face. I couldn't help but notice she died some of it a dark purple, Hmmmm... When I looked back at Hanbin, he just kept staring at her. His eyes looked like he was trying to figure her out. She noticed this and looked at him in question. Their eyes met for a few seconds before Hanbin turned away and headed out the door. She then looked at me as if to say 'what was that about?'. I shrugged because I didn't know and followed him out the door. One thing I DID know, was that when we got back to the dorms, both of us had some explaining to do. I wonder where Manager-hyung hid the popcorn, this was gonna be a long night.
