It's the middle of the 21st century and people born with unnatural biological abilities are being discovered. These people, also dubbed as 'Mutants' not only have been spotted in the Americas and Europe, but Asia as well. South Korea is actually home to the world's second Mutant school, "Shinhwa Institute for Specially Gifted Students." Which is inspired by "Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters" that was founded by Professor Charles Xavier in the U.S. 

   "Shinhwa Institute for specially Gifted Students" is created and owned by Lee Minwoo, a friend and former student of Professor X himself. Headmaster Lee's job is to find and save the mutants of Asia and teach them how to control their powers so that they can finally live peaceful lives. But he's not just any school Headmaster; he's also in charge of the Asian X-Men unit, AX, which consists of mutents that wish for peace amoung all people and chose to live protecting both mutant and non-mutant lives over their own. This is their story. 

Lee Yujin's POV:

          The sky was grey and light snow was dancing in the air. I raised my hand up to the sky but it was useless. I could't feel anything. Not the snow, not the cold, not even the supposedly freezing wind.

  "...And~ here you go!" The shop lady behind the counter exclaimed happily. "Two boxes of Tteokbokki to go~!"

  I smiled and bowed politely. "Thank you very much, Ma'am."

  "No problem, sweetheart. But..." She eyed me up and down. "If you don't mind me asking, aren't you cold? You're barely wearing anything!"

  I knew she was going to ask that. All I had on was a t-shirt, skinny jeans and Converses. I had pulled on a light sweater so people wouldn't notice that I lacked cloths for the appropriate weather, but this woman's seen me grow up, so she's not all that fooled.

  "Oh, it's ok." I replied. "I'm not actually all that cold. if I wear anything heavier than this I feel like I'd probably die of heat ."

  "Oh dear..." She furrowed her brows. "I'll never be able to understand you, I guess. Well, just be carefull out there, ok? I hear there's going to be an awful snow storm soon."

  I took the bag full of Tteokbokki and waved at her. "Yes, Ma'am. Thank you!"

  "Oh! And tell your mother that I said 'Hi'!"

  "Will do!"

    As I walked I could feel the snow crunch benieth my shoes. Sometimes, they would step into a huge pile of it and something that felt like water would seep through the thin material. But, like always, it wasn't cold. It's never cold. 

  I walked for about ten minutes before seeing the figure on my mother waiting for me in front of her work place. 

  "Mom!" I called out to get her attention. She heard me, turned towards my way, then smiled and waved.

  I waved back and quickened my pace to get to her.

  "I brought Foo-!" I yelled excitedly but stopped when I saw my mother start to fall. At first, it was just her hand that was waving, then her knees buckled and she landed on the snowy ground like a house of cards.

  "Mom?" I barley whispered. My semi-fast pace turned into a sprint. "Mom!!!" 

  The bag of Tteokbokki was thrown and the spicy sauce dyed the white snow, red. When I finally got to my Mother's side she was panting hard and completely out of strength.

  "Mom!" I cried as I gathered her up in my arms. I was so confused and scared. Just what is happening? Is she hurt? Is she sick? 

  "Y-Yujin..." She muttered. 

 "Mom, What's wrong? J-just tell me what's wrong and I'll go call a hospital." I tried clear my head by forcing the shock down. My mother needed help, and freaking out wasn't going to do anything. I used my free hand to search through my pockets, but then it dawned on my that I left my cell phone at home. Sh***! 

    I looked around. "Hello?!" I called out. "Is anybody there?! Help us!! Please!! Can someone call an Ambulance?!" 

   "Yujin..." My mother's voice was softer now, and hoarse. I looked down at her.

   "Mom, don't worry. It'll be ok. I'll find a way to get us to a hospital so-..."

  "Find him." She cut me off. "You need to find him."

  "F-find him?" 

   My mother nodded. "Yes, you must find him. He'll take care of you."

  "Who are you talking about, Mom?" My voice was shaking now. I didn't know if it was from fright or shock.

  "Your Bro-brothe-" her already half-lidded eyes slamed shut and her body went limp.

    Those were the last words that I ever heard her say.
