The feeling was too overwhelming to the point it became unbearable. With slight hesitation, Hyun Mi pulled her hand away from Woo Hyun’s grip and unsurely stood frozen on one spot. She blinked rapidly, wondering why she was feeling this way towards this stranger.   “Are you okay?” Woo Hyun asked, eyeing her quizzically.   “Y-yes! I’ll just go look around the store,” she answered and twirled her finger to motion to the gift shop interior.   “And you don’t want me to come?” he continued asking her suspiciously. A part of him was amused by the fact her face was obviously blushing at his very innocent and casual statement.   “It’s not that I don’t want you to come along, but it would be faster and more efficient when we split up to look for your cheese… Yeah, that’s a good reason,” she made up yet another excuse and nodded at her own brilliant reasoning skills. She gave him a sheepish smile and turned around to escape him.   Her feet wandered off to different aisles of the gift shop as her eyes blankly stared at the merchandises. Though they were all very cute with a considerable affordable price, she couldn’t focus on any of it.   “Ah, I haven’t even known him for 24 hours, I can’t possibly like him in such a short time, right?” she questioned herself with a dramatic monologue.   “Even if I haven’t known you for 24 hours, it took me less than 60 seconds to fall for you,” a guy suddenly spoke.   Hyun Mi turned around in shock to see a familiar looking guy standing behind her. Though she was bad at recalling people’s faces, she recognized those small eyes and remembered he was one of the guys who hit on her at the airport. If she remembered correctly, his name was Sung Gyu.   “60 seconds,” Sung Gyu repeated again with a confirmative nod.   “Really?” Hyun Mi asked him, not even wondering why the airport employee was at Jeju Island at the moment. “Do you think it’s really possible to like someone in that short amount of time?”   “Not just someone, but you,” Sung Gyu said as he reached his hand out to her.   “Oh my gosh,” Hyun Mi gasped, feeling her face heating up again. She turned around, indirectly rejecting Sung Gyu who was left hanging with his hand in mid-air.   In the midst of her great dilemma, she moved away from Sung Gyu while still in deep thoughts. Was she perhaps attracted to him because he was actually unaffected by her powers? Whenever he said something sweet, she assumed it must’ve been genuine.   “Argh,” she sighed hysterically and squatted down on the ground with her arms covering the side of her face. This very much resembled a mental breakdown moment in her own mind, not believing she’d ever meet a guy like this.   “Should I just… Open up my heart?” she asked dramatically to no one in particular.   As she opened her eyes, she suddenly saw something dangling right in front of her. It was a necklace with a beautiful jewelry piece of a silver key, shining so dazzlingly in the light.   “You can use this to open up my heart.”   Hyun Mi tilted her head to see a guy wearing an extremely eccentric fashion standing in front of her, holding the item in his hand. With a frown on her face, she got up from her position and faced the stranger. “What?” she asked him, unable to comprehend the cheesy line in her current state.   “I am giving you the key to my heart,” he explained, showing off the necklace in front of her again. “Therefore, you may call me Key.”   She chuckled at the line and was about to reply, if her mind didn't suddenly remember the way Woo Hyun told her to stop giving people false hope. Again, he just had to appear in her thoughts.   “You should keep this,” Key spoke as he placed the necklace in the palm of her hand. “Likewise, let me be the one to keep your heart.”   Hyun Mi was honestly a little surprised at his frank remark and had a hard time to suppress her laughter. Before she could answer him, the necklace was swiftly snatched away from her hand.   “Sorry, but it’s already occupied,” Woo Hyun spoke as he appeared besides her, glaring at Key to stop him from making another move.   The statement made Hyun Mi panic even more. Was he aware he was the one occupying it? Was she being too obvious? Wait, why would he be the one occupying it anyway? She did not like him, right?   “Well, I am oh so curious if she will accept me,” Key said as he pointed at the girl to make a declaration. “You are my Juliet!”   “But I am her last Romeo,” Woo Hyun said, standing in front of Hyun Mi to protect her from this creepy guy. Sometimes, drastic situations called for drastic measures.   Key looked offended at first before he snapped his fingers and stood face to face with Woo Hyun to directly challenge him. “Well then get in line last Romeo, first Romeo coming through,” he declared confidently.   Hyun Mi was about to laugh, but remembered to stop being so friendly. “Sorry,” she told Key and turned serious at once. “It won’t ever work out, cause both Romeo and Juliet died. I’m too young to die.”   Key scrunched his eyebrows, seeing the girl leave. The other guy smirked at him once before following her. “Aw, no fun,” Key muttered and walked away.   Woo Hyun let out a sigh as he watched Hyun Mi nonchalantly avoiding his gaze. “I guess I can’t leave your side,” he muttered while shaking his head. “Guys will hit on you.”   “No, they weren’t hitting on me,” Hyun Mi spoke quietly as she squatted on the floor again to distract herself by looking at the necklaces displayed. She couldn’t look at Woo Hyun now, so she had to find an excuse not to. “They were just affected by my powers.”   “Seriously?” he flattened his eyes.   “It’s okay, I’m used to it,” she managed to let out a small laugh.   “But I’m not.”   Hyun Mi felt her heart skip a beat as her movements paused. She wondered whether he was even aware of his actions by making her feel so confused, especially as he kept claiming he had not found his cheese back. At this rate, it wouldn’t take long before he regained it.   “I found it!” she suddenly exclaimed, completely forgetting her previous dilemma.   “What?” Woo Hyun bend down besides her to see her carefully taking out a necklace from the display rack. And when she held a necklace with a silver cheese pendant in front of him, he couldn’t help but laugh.   “I found your cheese,” she said back to her cheeky self and held it in front of his neck to see if he’d look good wearing it. But with that visual, he’d look good in anything.   When she realized she had been staring at him longer than she should’ve, she quickly cleared and got up on her feet. “Maybe I should buy this for you, so you’ll always carry some cheese with you,” she said randomly.   “Shouldn’t it be the other way around? I should be the one buying it for you,” Woo Hyun said.   “It’s okay, you paid for lunch, I’ll pay for this,” Hyun Mi replied and walked up to the cashier to pay off the item before Woo Hyun could protest.   “Is that all?” the store clerk asked as he scanned the item’s barcode.   “Add this one as well,” Woo Hyun said as he quickly added another item to the stack.   Hyun Mi’s eyes widened in shock when she realized the item he handed them was an exact replica of the cheese necklace. Was this going to be a couple item of some sort? Her heart could not handle her delusional thoughts.   “Woo Hyun, you really don’t have to—”   “I didn’t say it was for you,” Woo Hyun told her.   “Oh.”   Hyun Mi couldn’t deny she was a liiiiittle, tiny bit, not extravagantly disappointed—not at all. She shouldn’t have made such assumptions anyway. Just because she was kinda slightly attracted to him didn't mean he would feel the same way.   “There is a member discount available if you sign up for our online newsletter. Would you like to do so?” the guy behind the cashier said.   “It’s very easy to do,” the other one said.   “Yes!” Hyun Mi answered with no hesitation. She took a quick peek at their nametags. “Thank you, Henry and Dae Hyun.”   The two guys behind the cashier looked surprised as their names were being called.   “What is your name, miss?” Henry asked with a sweet smile.   “Jang Hyun Mi,” she answered.   Woo Hyun watched silently, ready to jump in if she were to say something misleading, or if they would be too agressive.   “Alright, I will need your phone number now,” Henry said.   “Wait, hold on, I think I know her number,” Dae Hyun suddenly muttered as he held a finger in the air.   “You do?” Hyun Mi asked surprised.   “It must be 1-0-0-4, cause you’re an angel from heaven,” Dae Hyun spoke with a grin.   “Followed by 1-4-3-4-8-6, because I love you every day,” Henry chimed in.   “Whoa, amazing!” Hyun Mi laughed in approval of their cheesy lines.   “Isn’t this for an online newsletter, why do you need her number?” Woo Hyun asked, crossing his arms. The girl's marvelled reaction made him more annoyed.   “Oh, that’s really just for us,” Henry answered honestly as Dae Hyun nodded in agreement.   “Yeah, not gonna happen,” Woo Hyun spoke as he handed them his card, just to get the process over with as quick as possible.

The two exited the store and to try out the other items mentioned in the grate masterplan list, which was to either visit a cheese factory, a cheese plantation, or milk some cows. After some extensive research, it turned out that a cheese factory actually does exist in Jeju Island. They just had to find the right ride to get there.   “Woo Hyun, let’s play a game,” Hyun Mi suddenly suggested. “A game to test how cheesy you actually are.”   “There are games like that?” he asked in surprise.   “I just made it up,” she confessed with a grin. “But basically, I will say a part of a cheesy line, and you will have to complete it. This will test how cheesy your mind is.”   “Okay,” Woo Hyun nodded along just to make her happy.   Hyun Mi cheered as she thought of a good pick up line to start off with. “Do you have a map? Cause I think I’m lost…” she trailed off.   “I have a navigation system on my phone,” Woo Hyun answered, ready to take his phone.   “Nooo!” Hyun Mi slightly hit his arms. “You were supposed to say I’m lost in your eyes, or something along those lines.”   “Ah, I see,” Woo Hyun nodded, trying to absorb her lesson.   “Let’s try another one,” Hyun Mi regained her composure before giving him the next line. “I should watch my back, cause I think I dropped something.”   “What?” Woo Hyun asked curiously.   “My heart, for you,” she answered herself, and soon realized how misleading those words could sound. Especially as he had that playful grin on his face, she knew he was going to start teasing her.   “So you gave your heart to me?” he asked.   “I was giving an example and not expressing my own feelings in any way,” Hyun Mi said, surprisingly without stuttering throughout her excuse.   “Sure, sure.” He was not convinced at all.   “Seriously Woo Hyun, how can you be born with intensive cheese if you’re this bad at pick up lines?” she asked as she tried to walk away from him. She stopped the moment he reached out to her arm and pulled her back towards himself. Her heart began to thud louder as she stood in front of him at a close distance.   “You’re right, I don’t think I could compete with your cheesiness,” he said with a small laugh. He then took out the necklace they had purchased earlier from the gift bag and held it out in front of her. “Hold up your hair.”   “W-why?” she asked, feeling her heart flutter just at the sound of his chuckling.   “So it will be easier for me to put it on for you,” he answered bluntly.   Hyun Mi averted her eyes from the way he gazed at her so playfully and aff

Chapter 4: Okay so first off, the title puns are just BRILLIANT. This story was absolutely cheesy and I loved it, and it was WOOHYUN <3 Like yes, Infinite Kings!!!! I could tell it was an older piece of yours though just from the way the writing was broken up and not as advanced as you are now. Thank you so much for bringing this absolutely fun story to my attention!

Chapter 4: I finished it in one go hahaha ;D
It's super cringe worthy. I like how each guy came up with the perfect pick-up lines base on their song and fandom.

Chapter 4: Woooooooooooooow!! That was really hilarious. I enjoyed the story so much and their cheesy lines were funny haha XD.. I love being cheesy as well, I don't know why some people hate it :3
The plot reminded me when I fell in love with my tour guide and of course nothing went well between us, and I ended up writing a story about this experience :(
Just like this story, but their end was really beautiful and sweet.

Your stories make me fall for Woohyun even more, I'm waiting for a new story for him after you finish 'Cupid at heart' <33333

By the way it wasn't a short story, your chapters were longer than usual *I believe* cuz I used to read 1 chapter in two days or more.

Much love as always <33
