These titles won't actually make sense, I guess. XD
Anyway, prepare yourself. I'm gonna cheese it up this chapter.. Hehehehehe   =====     When the next day arrived, Woo Hyun found himself ready early in the morning. He was standing in front of the mirror, fixing his hair and tidying his outfit for the nth time. There was something about that day that excited him—it was not an every day occurrence to have someone offer to find his cheesiness back.   The excitement slowly began to dismiss itself when he had waited for almost three hours with no news from the girl next door. True, they never exactly agreed on a time to meet up, but it was almost 11 AM at the moment. An eerie feeling began to bother him, so he set out to check up on her.   “Hyun Mi?”   He knocked lightly against her door, waiting for any response as he continued to call her name. A gush of relief washed over him when he heard some rustling sounds from inside. At least she was alive.   However, once the door opened, his eyes jolted up in surprise and his lips couldn’t help but tug upwards into a grin. The girl had just presented herself in the most un-presentable way possible; she was still wearing her blue pajamas with a picture of cows on it, her just-woke-up hairstyle was imminent with her hair sticking out to all directions, and her eyes were a little swollen and dark. But the worst part of it was…   “Do you always ‘cry’ in your sleep?” Woo Hyun asked as he lightly pressed his thumb against the corner of , helping her wipe the drool off.   Hyun Mi gave him a faint nod, still in her half-sleepy state and not conscious enough to give a proper reply to his teasing question. After a few seconds passed by, she finally realized what was really going on and jumped away from him with a loud gasp.   “The tears trail down to my mouth since I’m facing the pillow, you know,” she made up yet another unsuccessful excuse. She used her sleeves to quickly rub away whatever was left there, not believing this stranger she had known for less than 24 hours had actually helped her do so.   Woo Hyun gave her a small nod just to satisfy her. “I believe someone said she would help me out today,” he said, watching her leave the door open as she lazily slouched back to her bed. So he unsurely closed the door behind him and trailed after her.   “Can’t I sleep some more?” she asked, letting herself fall against the warm and cozy bed, hugging her blankets lovingly.   “It’s 11,” Woo Hyun argued, watching her from the side.   “But I couldn’t sleep at all last night,” Hyun Mi answered as she closed her eyes, enjoying the comfort her pillows provided her.   “Why?” Woo Hyun crouched down so he’d be at the same level with her. He watched as she opened her eyes to look back at him, her brown eyes glowing like sunlight with some mischief in them.   “I was thinking of you."   Woo Hyun was taken aback at the sudden line, seeing her carefully observing his reaction. Honestly, her sudden shamelessness and cheesy lines were quite amusing.   “I was thinking of you and your weird condition all night long,” Hyun Mi added afterwards after misleading him on purpose. She then pointed towards the night drawer besides the bed. “I made up a plan of possible things we could try out to find your cheesiness.”   Woo Hyun scoffed a little as he turned to her appointed direction. He noticed the hotel’s notepad filled with some scribbles and assumed that was the master plan she was talking about it. But the moment he read them, he started to doubt her credibility.   1. Eat cheese 2. Go to a cheese factory 3. Visit a cheese plantation? 4. Milk some… cows?   “You couldn’t sleep because you came up with these ideas?” he asked her, holding the paper in his hand with disbelief. Maybe he had expected too much from her.   “Brilliant, right?”   Woo Hyun was at a loss for words as he watched her beaming proudly. “You do know that cheesiness doesn’t actually have anything to do with the actual cheese, right? How is milking some cows going to help anyway?”   “Cause cows produce milk, which can be churned into cheese,” Hyun Mi explained her nonsense logic.   “Milk can be churned into butter, not cheese,” Woo Hyun corrected her.   “Butter! We should try something with that too!”   Woo Hyun could only flatten his eyes before he let out a small scoff. “Please get ready first so we can try out all of your weird ideas,” he said as he grabbed her hands to pull her away from the bed.

By the time she was done preparing herself, it was already lunchtime. Following the first item of the grate plan, they looked for a place that served something cheesy as part of their menu. In the end, a small vintage looking Italian restaurant became their choice.   “Good afternoon. Welcome to 24 Hours Café. My name is Joon and I will be serving you today,” the waiter said after the two sat down. He first handed a menu to Woo Hyun with a friendly, though idiotic smile. When he turned to Hyun Mi to do the same, his eyes widened in shock.   “Oh my… You’re… You’re.. Wow…” the guy trailed off, frozen in his place. He quickly placed his hand in front of his mouth to prevent himself from blurting out weird pick up lines. And with that, he escaped the table.   “What was that?” Woo Hyun asked, raising his eyebrows in confusion.   “Sometimes, they can’t say the cheesy line and end up running away,” Hyun Mi answered, watching the guy run off to the kitchen in a hurry. “My powers have different effects on people.”   No matter how many times he had heard her talk about this power of hers, he still found it completely shameless and could only chuckle at her. His laughter died down as soon as another guy appeared to their table, perhaps to replace the other one.   “My name is Xiu Min and I will be serving you today. Are you ready to order?” he asked, looking at the two calmly.   “What is the cheesiest dish available?” Hyun Mi looked up from the menu to stare at the waiter.   “If I was a wolf, I will put you in my mouth like cheese. Then you’d be the cheesiest dish,” Xiu Min answered her with a small wink.   Hyun Mi made a disgusted face, slightly horrified by this line. “Wolf don’t eat cheese,” she muttered under her breath.   “Even as someone who lost his cheesiness, this has got to be one of the most horrible pick up lines I’ve ever heard,” Woo Hyun commented, leaning his head against his hand with boredom.   “Why don’t you give it a try then?” Xiu Min challenged him.   Woo Hyun was taken aback by the sudden challenge. He looked at Xiu Min who was not taking no for an answer. Then his eyes met Hyun Mi who tried to keep her cool about it, but was obviously curious to watch him try. So he might as well…   “The cheesiest dish available… Would be… Me?” he answered unsurely. This time, Xiu Min rolled his eyes as Hyun Mi simply laughed at his attempt.   “We’ll just get a pizza with extra cheese, a spaghetti bolognaise, and some cheesecake for dessert, please,” she told Xiu Min kindly before she returned her focus to the guy in front of her.   “Was it that bad? I honestly thought it was good,” Woo Hyun told her earnestly.   “It was good!” she told him encouragingly. “But you should add your overdose of self-confidence when saying those cheesy lines. Boldness is the key for it to be cheesy.”   “Really?”   “Don’t show any uncertainties and just be completely shameless when saying them. It needs to make people cringe to the point you’d be embarrassed,” she continued teaching him a valuable life lesson. “But of course, when you’ve fully mastered the art of cheesiness, you won’t even know what embarrassment is anymore.”   “So basically, I follow what you’re doing,” Woo Hyun concluded, laughing as she just flattened her eyes.   “Woo Hyun, I need to ask you a very important question,” she quickly changed the topic, turning serious all of the sudden.   “What?”   “Do you have a girlfriend?”   Woo Hyun was surprised by her sudden question which she claimed was so important. He leaned in closer towards her over the table and smirked. “Isn’t that a little too bold to ask?”   “N-n-no…” Hyun Mi stuttered, just realizing how misleading her question could be.   “Is this your way of asking if I’m available for you?” he continued teasing.   Hyun Mi’s eyes widened in shock as she vigorously shook her head to the side. She could feel her heart rate speeding up from his accusations, or perhaps from the way he gazed back at her so mischievously it became attractive at some point. She had to fling the idea away from her head for it would become a dangerous obstruction to the mission to find his cheese back.   “So do you have a girlfriend?” she asked him the initial question.   “I used to,” Woo Hyun finally answered her.   “You did?” Hyun Mi’s jaw dropped open in utter shock. She wasn’t even sure why she was so surprised by it.   “I mean, I am pretty good-looking and attractive. It would be weird if I never dated anyone before,” Woo Hyun exaggerated his cockiness to earn a stare from her instead. “But she broke up with me because I wasn’t cheesy enough.”   At that, Hyun Mi couldn’t help but to snigger. It was supposed to be sad on his part, but it was just so comical for some reason. “If she had my powers, she would perhaps end up dating everyone.”   “What about you? Ever dated anyone?” Woo Hyun shifted the question back to her. His hands started fiddling with the saltshaker in front of him as his eyes stole a quick glance to see her hesitating a little.   “Is this your way of asking to be my first?” she mimicked his previous teasing.   “Your first? So you never dated anyone?”   “Well, it’s hard to tell who is being genuine when literally all guys are being cheesy to me. And it is ironic since I actually do like cheesy guys, but I know they don’t actually mean it most of the time,” she sighed as she told the dilemma of a single 23 year old.   “So you basically need someone who is unaffected by your powers?” Woo Hyun asked.   “Exactly!” she agreed instantly with a nod. Being the occasional slow person she could be, she squinted her eyes at Woo Hyun suspiciously, watching him casually grin back at her. Could he perhaps be referring to himself? Couldn’t be.   Xiu Min had reappeared at that time to bring them their dishes and a glass of water. The spaghetti honestly looked very delicious with its mouthwatering appearance, and the smoke that appeared whenever they flipped the pasta over made everything better. The pizza was covered with cheese all over and had a smell that made them want to devour the dish in one go. The cheesecake itself looked heavenly with its smooth exterior and the crispy crusts.   “Please enjoy your meal. It’s served with love,” Xiu Min told them with another wink directed towards Hyun Mi before

Chapter 4: Okay so first off, the title puns are just BRILLIANT. This story was absolutely cheesy and I loved it, and it was WOOHYUN <3 Like yes, Infinite Kings!!!! I could tell it was an older piece of yours though just from the way the writing was broken up and not as advanced as you are now. Thank you so much for bringing this absolutely fun story to my attention!

Chapter 4: I finished it in one go hahaha ;D
It's super cringe worthy. I like how each guy came up with the perfect pick-up lines base on their song and fandom.

Chapter 4: Woooooooooooooow!! That was really hilarious. I enjoyed the story so much and their cheesy lines were funny haha XD.. I love being cheesy as well, I don't know why some people hate it :3
The plot reminded me when I fell in love with my tour guide and of course nothing went well between us, and I ended up writing a story about this experience :(
Just like this story, but their end was really beautiful and sweet.

Your stories make me fall for Woohyun even more, I'm waiting for a new story for him after you finish 'Cupid at heart' <33333

By the way it wasn't a short story, your chapters were longer than usual *I believe* cuz I used to read 1 chapter in two days or more.

Much love as always <33
