Come, Come ‘round the fire my children
Lean your ear to the song I tell;
Of the love of moon, its face gilden,
And the girl who learned to love him so well.
Poor Leta longed for him so from the ground,
That her beating heart broke cleanly in two.
And when the moon looked upon her wound,
He sat in the night sky and laughed.
