“okay. We’re going to have an exam before your college preparatory exam in winter. Have you decided which university you want to go?” their homeroom, Mr Choi teacher asked them

“nae~” the whole class lazily answered

“exam? When will it happen?” yoseob raised his hand and asked

“two weeks from now, including the whole grade. So study hard.” Mr Choi said before starting the lesson receiving much noise of disapprove from the class

“so we have another 2 weeks to study? I’m screwed.” Yoseob and mir lay their head on the table ignoring their food

“come on. What could be bad about exam?” hana ruffles yoseob’s hair

“let me think. I got D in chemistry, I fail maths and I have no A.” yoseob turn his head and rest his chin on the table

“don’t worry baby, I got A+ in chemistry.” Hana smiles

“we’ll help you. What’s the function of having a nerd as your friend?” Hyosung said

“urm…can you help me too?” dongwoon shyly said

“sure. What subject?” Hyosung looks at him

“physic. I at it.” Dongwoon sighs

“are you good at language?” hyunseung asked

“Korean language?” hana asked

“y-yeah. I still can’t remember those proverbs and all.” Hyunseung slams his spoon

“don’t worry. We’re on the same team.” Kikwang raised his eyebrows while smiling assuredly.

“okay! Let’s start after school.” Hyosung clasp her hands and focus back on her lunch

Later, when the school finishes, everyone gather at the school library. Kikwang, Hyosung, yoseob, hana, hyunseung, mir, dongwoon and cheondung are ready to learn.

“okay, let’s go.” Hyosung excitedly said

“yes! Miss Jeon Hyosung.” Everyone said at the same time making Hyosung blush.

Hyosung take the whiteboard that they use for notice for her teaching. They had to combine 2 discussion tables to fit all of them.

“so the first subject would be math.” Hyosung smiles and wears her glasses

“yes, miss Jeon.” Kikwang playfully said making Hyosung to smile

“the first thing we need to know is the formula. What is the formula for a circle?” Hyosung asked to them and their face look clueless, staring at her in full of question except hana

“guys…seriously? It’s pi r ².” Hyosung scribbles on the whiteboard and all of them are making the same sounds

“ohhhh~”

“oh boy. This is harder than I thought.” Hyosung sighs looking at those guys

Later at night, Hyosung stayed over at Hyorin’s house which making kikwang smiles from ear to ear.

“noona, can you teach us too?” sungjong batters his eyelashes at Hyosung

“sure. What is it about?” Hyosung answered sweetly even though she’s tired.

“it’s Korean language.” Taemin scoot nearer to Hyosung

“what are you guys? Go back to America.” Hyosung speaks in disbelieve that Korean people actually had troubles in korean language

“that’s the problem. We lived in US for 9 years and our friends do not speak Korean.” Kikwang in

“great! You can teach English tomorrow.” Hyosung smiles at him

“noona, ignore him. Help us please.” Taemin bigger his eyes to plea

“okay… what is ‘Even you know the way, ask one more time’?” Hyosung asked to the twins

“urm…we should ask again to make sure?” taemin scratch his head

“we should act like we know something?” sungjong makes a try

“nope. It means ‘Do not be overconfident and assume that you know anything perfectly well. There are always unknown or unexpected details’.” Hyosung explained at the twins and both of them write down the meaning

So the session with the twins went on for an hour.

“hyo gum ah, go to sleep. It’s late.” Hyorin ruffles hyosung’s head and head to her bedroom with aeri in her arms

“nae…” Hyosung tiredly replied

“thanks noona.” Sungjong said smiling at her

“and sorry for taking your time…with kikwang hyung.” Taemin grins and keeps all of their books

“here.” Kikwang gave her a cup of hot chocolate

“thanks.” Hyosung grabs the mug and take a sip

“it’s been hard on you. Thanks for everything.” Kikwang smiles sweetly showing his eye smile

“we still have 2 weeks to study, and today is just the first day.” Hyosung mutters

“hyung. Help me for a while.” Taemin called kikwang and kikwang stand up to help him

After a while, kikwang return to Hyosung but only to see her sleeping soundly while holding the mug tightly.

For the next few days, they have been studying inside the library.

“okay. We cannot study at the library anymore.” Hana sighs disappointedly

“why?” everyone else shouted

“because we’re too loud. That’s why.” Hyosung sighs too

“so…can we use that room?” dongwoon looked at hyunseung

“do you think we can?” mir looked at hyunseung too

“aish…fine, I’ll ask.” Hyunseung hissed and take out his phone

So, all of them walk to the third floor.

“wait. MBLEAST’s room?” Hyosung shrieks

“why? Let’s go.” Kikwang pushes the door and all of them gasp with their sight

“seungho ah.” Joon chuckles seeing seungho is kissing with his girlfriend, gyuri. They quickly broke the kiss at look at them. Seungho’s face turns really red.

“hey guys. Long time no see.” Gyuri said acting like nothing happen

“why didn’t you guys knock?!” seungho said furiously

“haha. That’s cute. You’re supposed to be studying, not kissing.” Hyunseung scoffed and started to set their study place with the help of mir and yoseob

“we are studying. I’m just giving reward.” Gyuri confidently speaks making all of them quiet by her talks

“reward? Hyo, what abo-“ kikwang turn his head grinning sheepishly at hyosung

“not a chance!” Hyosung cut off his sentence and walks straight to the whiteboard.

“okay, let’s review yesterday lesson before jumping into chemistry.” Hyosung said opening a workbook

“I didn’t get the answer for num 12.” Mir rose up his hand and so is dongwoon. Hyosung writes down the answer and how to get it. She explained details to them.

“okay!” dongwoon shouted delightfully and writes the answer

“what about num 48?” yoseob asked and Hyosung do the same thing as before

“anymore question, before hana takes over for chemistry?” Hyosung asked

“I have a question.” Kikwang stands up and writes ‘Gx-7i>3(3x-7u)’ on the whiteboard

“can you solve it for me please?” kikwang smiles playfully making Hyosung to frown at his smiles

“we solve the bracket first so it becomes like this ‘Gx-7i>gx-21u’, then solve the ‘g’ and it’ll become like this ‘-7i>-21u’, then the negative symbol…it’ll become like this ‘7i<21u’ finally, the answer is…” Hyosung blush at the question

“the answer is?” everyone else asked while gyuri and seungho join in the study group

“the answer is, i<3u.” kikwang writes at the whiteboard looking into her blush face, smiling shyly

“eeyyy~ kikwang ah…that’s cheesy.” Yoseob throws an eraser at him and everyone else started to make some noise of disapprove and throw some papers and stuff at him

“ack. Yeah yeah…I know.” Kikwang rubs his head that was hit by an eraser before and sit down at his place leaving Hyosung to smiles happily.

It’s Sunday and all of them are studying at kikwang’s house where taemin and sungjong are joining too. it’s a full house as everyone in MBLEAST are there plus hana and hyuna.

“we can’t study in large group, it creates chaos.” Doojun said trying to push yoseob and mir away when they started to play around

“let’s divide into 3 groups.” Seungho said tapping his chin

“Hyosung. Arrange them according to their weakness.” Doojun hand her a piece of paper and Hyosung started to scribbles. The 3 of them discuss about their weakness while the others are doing math.

“okay. The math group would be yoseob, mir, hyuna and dongwoon. English group would be doojun, junhyung, seungho and g.o. the Korean language group would be hyunseung, cheondung, taemin, sungjong and joon.” Hyosung said while reading the paper

“me, Hyosung and hana will be the teacher.” Kikwang said happily

“what are you teaching?” mir asked kikwang

“English! And let’s get going.” Kikwang speaks fluent English to them

From 10 am until 4pm, all of them are studying deligently and aeri started to disturb them. Aeri walks carefully to the Korean language group, where everyone is wrting an essay at the hall. Aeri pokes hyunseung and he gave aeri an eraser without looking. She took the eraser and puts on taemin’s head. Taemin writes down the essay without realise that an eraser is on his head. Then, aeri took cheondung’s pen and started her artwork on sungjong’s book that lay next to him.

“eraser please.” Joon nudge hyunseung

“I gave it to just now.” Hyunseung said looking at his paper

“no you didn’t.” joon nudges him again

“aish. I gave it to you. Find it yourself!” hyunseung started to glare joon

“ah. It’s here.” Sungjong take the eraser from taemin’s head

“how on earth…” hyunseung said

“where’s my pen?” cheondung asked while looking for it

“here.” Taemin points at aeri whose busy doing her artwork

“aigoo. This is all you’re doing?” joon picks her up and kiss her while she giggles over joon’s action. Everyone stop their work and look at aeri and joon.

“I think we need a break.” Yoseob stretches and lie down on the floor

“yeah.” Hyuna sighs and put down her pencil

“let’s play.” Mir dash to joon and take aeri from joon. He flies aeri around the room and everyone else joined in too. They decided to play hide and seek and the doll game with aeri. They had so much fun after the whole brain working. After an hour and a half, all of them lay on the grass at the yard with aeri.

“we sure need some fun after studying.” Seungho blurted out smiling at the sky

“the leaves are all red and brown.” Hana pointed at the tree nearby

“do you think we have a Halloween Party after exam?” mir jumps all so sudden

“don’t know.” Doojun sighs

“I think you guys studied enough. Let’s eat.” Hyorin said while holding 4 boxes of chicken

“YAY!! CHICKEN!” mir and yoseob shouted and all of them attacked hyorin
