Jongin wakes up and finds a purple post-it note on the bedside table.

Kyungsoo. No matter what, remember Kyungsoo.

He gets up, puts on his old grey dressing gown, leaving it open and free to swish around him as he walks downstairs into the small backyard.

Kyungsoo is there, sitting on a chair and reading the newspaper. There's no cup of tea in his hands, Jongin forgot to make it. He didn't make coffee for himself either.

He walks behind him and bends down to brush his lips against Kyungsoo's temple.

"I forgot to tell you I love you."

He can't see it but he feels Kyungsoo's smile.
