By now it was around 5:00 am, and I was drenched in sweat. It was March so the mornings were still decently cold, yet, here I was in a baggy white tank top and running shorts. Out of breath, I jogged over to a nearby vending machine in front of a convenience store and bought a bottle of water. Gulping it down, my eyes took in the same old scene I saw everyday since I was a child. Except now, everything was cloaked in a dark veil to me. Looking at my phone, I decided it was time to go back home to take a shower, eat breakfast, and meet up with my friends in front of the school. (Let's say Bobby's school starts at 6:00 am. LOL)
