27 January 2017 (Friday), 7.20 a.m.

As the door slowly opened, we entered quietly into the last room, where our Jihyo, Nayeon, Sana and Mina were sleeping. They looked so peaceful that I almost felt bad for what's about to happen. I had a small megaphone in my hand.

As I flipped a switch on the megaphone, a loud siren sound began playing. There was no way for anyone to continue sleeping now.

 

Jinho : WAKE UP! WAKE UP! How long do you girls plan on sleeping?!!

 

The four girls had woken up from their slumber, as they began shrugging and grunting in annoyance. The siren continued to disturb them from trying to go back to sleep.

 

Jihyo : WHAT'S GOING ON?!!

Sana : WHY IS IT SO LOUD?!!

 

After those two screamed, I smiled as I turned off the siren. It was very funny to see them so annoyed for once.

Nayeon was the first to open her eyes to see me, Guntae, Chaeyoung, and the cameraman in their room.

 

Nayeon : Chaeyoung! What's going on here?

Chaeyoung : Jinho and Guntae oppa will be our managers for today.

Jinho : You girls can go have breakfast or something first. The other girls should be occupying the bathrooms right now.

 

The girls knew I was coming today, but acted surprised to hear my voice anyway. I didn't notice the little excitement in their eyes as they weren't looking in my direction.

Eventually, Jihyo and Sana got up from their beds, but not Mina. She hardly moved at all since I came into the room. Could she still be asleep? Maybe I'll let her rest a bit more. She'll probably be up soon.

As I was about to walk out of the room with Guntae, someone called out for us.

 

Mina : Manager oppa ~

 

I turned around to see Mina, smiling at my direction while still lying in bed. I smiled back as I was glad to see her awake.

 

Guntae : She was obviously talking to hyung, so go!

 

Guntae gently pushed me towards her. I knew Mina was talking to me, but I wasn't sure if I should go towards her like this. I have to keep reminding myself that I'm not single anymore. I shouldn't be flirting with her as much as I did before.

 

Jinho : What is it, Mina?

Mina : Can you stay here and keep me company?

 

Her request nearly made me blush, but I managed to hold it in and kept a straight face. I have the two years of office labor and translation work to thank for that.

I wasn't the only one who heard her. Jihyo smiled and decided to take action. She took Mina's words as a sign to give the two of us some privacy.

 

Jihyo : I'm hungry for some reason. Let's go to the kitchen!

 

She stood up and pulled both Nayeon and Sana off their beds by their wrists.

 

Nayeon : Me too?!!

Sana : Why?!!

 

Regardless of their objections, Jihyo pulled the two girls out of the room. Chaeyoung quickly did the same for Guntae and brought him out of the room. Naturally, the cameraman followed them.

I smiled as their intentions were very obvious to me. They even went to the trouble of clearing their own room for me and Mina.

 

Jinho : You're a really good opportunist, you know that, right?

 

She didn't reply. Instead, she simply smiled back.

As I looked at her, I noticed that she wasn't looking like her normal self.

 

Jinho : Let me touch your forehead for a second...

 

I came closer to her and placed the back of my right hand on her forehead. At the moment of contact, I could already feel the burning warmth emitting from her.

 

Jinho : You're sick. You have a fever.

Mina : I have to go to work though...

 

She tried to get up to prove that she was fine, but even I could tell she was struggling hard to do so.

With little effort, I grabbed her by the shoulders and pushed her back. There was no way I would let her do anything but sleep in her current condition.

 

Jinho : I'm obviously pulling ranks here. Your manager is telling you to stay in bed. If you don't, you'll be in big trouble!

 

Mina was surprised by how serious I was when I told her to stay put. She didn't reply back as she didn't want to argue with me, especially when she secretly liked how forceful I was to take care of her.

Once I could tell that Mina became more obedient with me, I walked away from her and towards the door.

 

Jinho : I'm gonna go ask Chaeyoung for the medicines.

Mina : Thank you...
