Yifan knows what Vancouver looks like at 4 am.

She doesn’t like waking up at 4 am.

But today she’ll make an exception.

Yifan was rarely in town because of his busy schedule so it’s a miracle that he was here now playing basketball

Yifan picks up his phone and dials a number

“wake up” Yifan smiles “basketball court now” then he hangs up

She arrives within 10 minutes

“you’re lucky that I love you” she says as Yifan throws her the ball

After a few rounds Yifan intentionally throws the ball farther than necessary

“you did that on purpose!” she yells as she goes after the ball

As she comes near Yifan, who was busy tying his shoe

“can’t you tie your shoes any faster?” she asks as she stands in front of him

Yifan looks up and suddenly brings out a small jewellery box and opens it

“I know it’s 4 am and we’re tired but would you make me the happiest man alive by marrying me?”
