Sitting by the edge of a cliff, we stare at the starry sky. It was such a beautiful quiet night.

I sigh.

He looks at me.

“What?” I ask

“Nothing” he smiles

“I love it when you smile” I say “especially when your gums show”

He covers his face and chuckles

“I also love that sound” I say as I hold Kris’ hand, he then looks me in the eyes

There was a silent moment

“do you believe in forever?” Kris asks

“no” I smile “but I do believe in a lifetime with you” and I caress his cheek

“I love you” Kris says and kisses my forehead

And a shooting star passes by
