A few months later

At the States

Yoona’s POV

My alarm didn’t work this morning, I take a quick shower and eat a few cookies. I look at my wristwatch

 

‘ Gosh, I’m late ’

 

I run out my apartment, I rush into the elevator without knowing that there’s someone inside. So yeah....I bump onto him.

 

‘ I’m so sorry ’ I said

 

When I look up I saw a guy giving me a smile

 

‘ No problem. Are you living at the 1206? ’ He asks

 

‘ Yes ’

 

‘ I’m Kwon Keun-Suk. I just came back from a business trip that’s why we didn’t meet. I’m living at the 1205 ’ he held his hand out

 

‘ I’m Im Yoona. I’m so sorry for earlier ’

‘ No problem. Are you Korean? ’ he asks

‘ Yes. You too ’

He nods ‘ I live in Seoul but I came here for a few years for my business. How about you? ’

 

‘ I came here for study ’

‘ Which university? ’

‘ Harvard ’

‘ Is not easy to enter in Harvard. You must be really smart. ’ He smiles

‘ So, your family is in Korea? ’

‘ Yes, well I only have a sister. Our parent died when we were 10. Now I live with my sister ’

 

‘ I’m sorry ’

‘ Is ok ’

* Ding *

The elevator opens

‘ Is very nice to meet you Keun-Suk ’

‘ Is very nice to meet you too Yoona. By the way, you can call me oppa ’

‘ I’ll see you Keun-Suk oppa. Have a good day ’

‘ You too ’

After I left the elevator, I run to the bus station

‘ Argh....the bus just left two minutes ago ’

Then I saw a Porsche stops in front of me, when I look up I saw Keun-Suk oppa pulls down the window

 

‘ Yoona, I’ll drive you to the university ’

‘ I don’t wanna bother you ’

‘ I have a meeting near Harvard, come in or you will be late ’ he said

I nod and climb into his car

‘ Thank you and sorry for the trouble ’

‘ We should help each other since we are neighbors ’ he smiles

He is such a gentleman. I’m glad that he is my neighbor....

Sooyoung’s POV

 

I look at my wristwatch, is almost 11PM. I take my phone out and call my girlfriend.

 

‘ Hello? ’ She answers

 

‘ Hey Sica ’ I said happily

 

‘ What do you want? ’ she asked coldly but I don’t mind because I love her so much.

 

All my friends asks me to break up with her because she don’t love me as much as I love her. She is always acting cold toward me and my friends hate her for that.

 

‘ I-I-I just call to check on you ’ I said

 

‘ I’m busy, if you have nothing to say then I’ll hang up ’

 

‘ Wait…. ’

 

‘ What again? ’

 

‘ When are you coming home? ’

 

‘ I’m not coming back tonight ’

 

‘ Why? ’

 

‘ Do I have to explain to you? ’

 

‘I’m your girlfriend and I’m worry about you ’

 

‘ I have a project to finish, happy now ’

 

‘ Oh….then I’ll call you to……… ’ I didn’t even finish my word and she already hang up.

 

Why are you like this? I tried to give you everything you want. What do you want me to do?

 

Tears falls downs

 

* Knock *

 

Tiffany’s POV

 

I pass by Soo’s office and I heard her conversation with Sica on the phone. After she hangs up I saw her crying.

 

Soo, Sica don’t deserve your love…………I love you but why you don’t see me?

 

I knock on her door and she quickly wiped her tears

 

I act like I didn’t see anything

 

‘ Hey Soo, wanna go eat something with me? ’

 

She shakes her head ‘ No, I’m going home ’

 

I sigh ‘ What did Sica do this time? ’

 

‘ Nothing ’ she smiles but I know she just force a smile in front of me

 

‘ She is not coming home right? ’

 

‘ How do you know? ’

 

‘ I…….I’m just guessing ’ I smile

 

‘ Oh……. ’

 

‘ Is late, go home. I’ll finish the contract for you ’ I said

 

‘ I can finish it ’

 

‘ No Soo. I want you to go home. We are partner I don’t want you to get sick because of over work. Look all the architecture plan are done so just let me finalise the contract ’

 

Soo stands up and smiles ‘ Fany, I don’t know what to do without you ’ she hugs me and I hug her back

 

Don’t worry, I will be here for you Soo because I really love you….

 

She slowly pulls off the hug ‘ I’ll see you tomorrow ’

 

‘ Sure ’ I smile

 

Before she left, Soo gives me a kiss on my cheek ‘ Don’t stay too late Fany-ah ’

 

‘ Don’t worry. Go home now ’ I push her out of the office

 

After Soo left, I went toward her desk to take the contract then I saw the picture of her and Sica. I take the picture

Flashback

 

Two days ago, I went to buy something at the supermarket. When I walk toward my car, I saw Sica kissing a guy.

 

I stomp toward them

 

‘ Jessica Jung, what are you doing? ’

 

‘ Fany, what are you doing here? ’

 

‘ You come with me ’ I drag her away

 

‘ Fany~~~let me go ’ She struggles

 

I stop and face her ‘ Who is he? ’

 

‘ My boyfriend ’

 

‘ Boyfriend??? ’

 

‘ Yes ’

 

‘ What about Soo? ’

 

‘ I don’t love her, she knew it at the beginning but she still asks me to be her girlfriend. ’

 

‘ If you don’t love her then why you accept to be her girlfriend? ’ I try to control myself

 

‘ I just want her to realize that I’m not the one for her. I want her to walk away from me by herself ’

 

‘ That’s the reason you always act cold toward her ’

 

‘ Yes, even so she don’t let me go ’

 

I shake my head ‘ How can you do this to her? Soo is a very good girl ’

 

‘ I know she is a good girl but I don’t love her. I met Donghae few months ago and I’m in love with him ’

 

Sica then looks at the guy

 

‘ Is he the guy who help you into T&T ’

 

Sica nods ‘ Fany, I really need to go now ’ then she walks away

 

End of flashback

 

How can I tell you what I saw that day? I can’t see you hurt…..

 

Jessica’s POV

 

After I hang up the phone with Soo I feel a pair of arms around my waist.

 

‘ Who is it? ’ Donghae asks while kissing my neck

 

‘ No body ’ I put the phone on the table and face oppa

 

‘ Is her, am I right? ’

 

‘ ……………… ’

 

He sighs ‘ Can you just break up with her? ’

 

‘ I tried but I failed ’

 

‘ You won’t fail if you really want to break up with her. Are you falling in love with her? ’

 

‘ What? Of course not, you know I just love you ’ I peck his lips

 

‘ Then can you just break up with her and be mine officially ’

 

‘ I’m already yours ’

 

‘ I want you to move in with me, I want to tell everyone that you are my girlfriend ’

 

‘ Oppa, just give me some times. Everytime I said I break up with her, she begs and apologize. ’

 

‘ Fine but I really want you to break up with her ’

 

‘ I will just give me sometimes ’

 

A few days later

 

Sooyoung’s POV

 

I just come back from the office because I forgot something at home. When I open the door, I was shock. I saw Sica making out with a guy on the couch.

 

‘ What are you doing? ’ I push them away

 

Sica covers herself with her shirt ‘ Oppa, can you go home first ’

 

The guy nods and walk out of the house

 

‘ Who’s that guy? ’ I ask

 

‘ He’s my boyfriend ’

 

‘ Boyfriend? ’

 

‘ Yes ’

 

‘ How can you cheat on me? ’

 

‘ You know since the beginning that I don’t love you. ’

 

‘ You don’t love me then why you accept me ’

 

‘ I just want you to realize that we are not for each other ’

 

‘ Is this the reason you are always acting cold toward me? ’

 

‘ ……….. ’

 

Jessica’s POV

 

‘ Answer me ’ Soo raises her voice

 

‘ …………… ’

 

‘ If this is want you want then you win ’

 

Soo stomps out of the house without waiting for my answer

 

Hmph…..I’m sure she will come back and beg me again.

 

SooFany’s POV

 

Soo drives to Fany’s place while crying.

 

‘ Soo, what happen? ’ Fany asks worriedly

 

‘ F-F-Fany, S-S-S-Sica is cheating on me. She said she never loves me ’ Soo hugs Fany

 

‘ Shhh…..Soo, please don’t cry. Sica don’t deserve you ’

 

‘ Fany, is hurt ’ Soo said

 

After a few hours, Soo slowly falls asleep into Fany’s embrace. While Fany went to prepare dinner, Soo slowly wake up. Fany walks back into the living room.

 

‘ Just in time, dinner ready ’

 

‘ Fany……. ’

 

Fany cupped Soo’s face ‘ I will be always her for you if you need me ’

 

Soo nods and hugs Fany ‘ Thank you ’

 

Sooyoung’s POV

 

After dinner, I went back to the house. I saw Sica sitting on the couch watching TV. When I walk into the living room she looks at me

 

‘ Don’t worry, I won’t ask you to be my girlfriend anymore. I will move out when I found a place. I’m sorry for bothering you all this time. I’ll let you go ’ I said then walk into my room

 

Inside the room, I cry….

 

Soo don’t cry, she don’t deserve your tears………

 

I wipe my tear away then I fall asleep

 

Jessica’s POV

 

I thought she will beg and tell me that she did wrong…….I’m sure that she is just acting like this. After a while, she will come back to me begging for my forgiveness…..I won’t fall for her trick. Maybe this time I can really end everything with her and live happily with oppa.

 

Tiffany’s POV

 

Since that day, Soo and I spend more time together. I know I should wait a little more but I’m scare that if I wait, someone will confess to Soo. So tonight I decide to confess my feeling.

 

SooFany’s POV

 

* Ding *

 

Fany opens the door and saw Soo smiling at her

 

‘ Come in ’

 

Soo gives a bouquet of roses to Fany ‘ For you ’

 

‘ Thank you, is beautiful ’

 

‘ I’m happy that you like it ’ Soo said

 

They sit on the couch

 

‘ How are you? ’ Fany asks

 

‘ Good. Maybe you don’t believe me but I feel happier than before. Before I just waste my time with Sica. She made it very clear to me that she don’t love me but I still after her. After that day, I finally realize that I will never win her heart. So now I’m moving on ’

 

‘ I’m happy that you can move on ’

 

‘ I shouldn’t waste my time with someone who don’t return my feeling right? ’

 

‘ You are right ’

 

‘ Fany, why you suddenly invite me for dinner? ’

 

‘ Oh…..I……I…….I……. ’

 

Soo chuckles ‘ Fany-ah, you can tell me everything ’

 

‘ I………I……….. ’

 

‘ Yes, I’m listening ’

 

‘ I love you ’ Fany finally confess

 

‘ …………… ’

 

‘ Soo, I love you ’

 

‘ Fany, I……….. ’

 

‘ I know you just break up with Sica. I don’t need you to give me an answer now, I just want you to know my feeling ’ Fany said

 

Soo takes Fany’s hand ‘ Can you give me sometimes? ’

 

‘ You mean……. ’

 

‘ Give me more time to move on from Sica. I want to be fair with you. I don’t wanna start a new relationship with you because I want to forget my feeling for Sica. Can you wait for me? ’

 

Fany nods and hugs Soo ‘ Yes Soo, I will wait for you ’

 

Soo smiles ‘ Can we eat now, I’m hungry and I miss your lobster ’

 

Fany chuckles ‘ Then let’s eat ’

 

One month later

 

SooFany’s POV

 

After their dinner with Yuri

 

‘ Fany, let’s go walk in the park ’

 

‘ Ok ’

 

They walk silently then Fany feels Soo taking her hand

 

Soo stops and made Fany faces her

 

‘ Fany do you wanna be my girlfriend? ’

 

‘ Soo…… ’

 

‘ I’m ready to start a new relationship with you. So Tiffany Hwang, please be my girlfriend ’

 

Fany nods

 

Soo smiles and hugs Fany

 

Jessica’s POV

 

I walk in the house but no one home. Is been a month since Soo caught me with Donghae. Since that day, she avoids me. She didn’t wait for me at night and everytime I sit next to her, she gets away.

 

Is almost midnight and she is not home yet

 

Aish….where’s that girl????

 

I heard the door opens I quickly turn on the TV.

 

‘ Oh….you are home ’ she said

 

‘  Yes, why are you so late ? ’

 

‘ I was with Fany ’

 

‘ I’m going back to my room. Good night ’ with this words she left me alone in the living room

 

This is the first time after our fight that she didn’t beg for my forgiveness and pleased me to forgive her……..Is she really let me go this time?????

 

Next day

 

SooSica’s POV

 

Sica is in the living room reading newspaper. Soo sits next to her

 

‘ Jessica, can we talk? ’

 

Sica looks at her ‘ Did you just call me Jessica? ’

 

‘ I know you don’t like me calling you Sica. ’

 

‘ Whatever. What do you wanna talk? ’

 

‘ I’m moving out today ’

 

‘ Moving out ’ this time Sica looks at Soo

 

‘ Yes, since we are not together anymore I think is better that I move out. I don’t want you to feel uncomfortable with me around. If I moving out, your boyfriend can come here ’ Soo said

 

‘ Good then ’

 

‘ I’m going to get my things now ’ Soo walks away

 

After an hour, Soo comes out with two suitcases. Sica is still sitting on the couch. Soo went next to Sica and put the key on the table.

 

‘ Here’s the key, I’m going now ’ Soo said

 

Sica didn’t answer

 

Jessica’s POV

 

After the door close, I look back and she is really gone. I walk into her room and I saw in the garbage can all the pictures we took together.

 

Did she really meant it when she said she will let me go this time????
