Chapter 23

 

Sooyoung’s POV

 

I was in my car outside the office building then I receive a text from Fany telling me that Sica is here.

 

‘ Soo, are you sure about this? ’ Hyomin asks

 

‘ Yes, is the best for her ’ I said

 

‘ Soo, there’s no return if you do this ’ Tae said

 

‘ I don’t have time Tae, I don’t want her to cry after I left. This is the only thing I can do for her before I left this world ’

 

Tae just nods

 

‘ They will be out soon, I’ll go first ’ Tae went out of the car

 

I look at Hyomin, she nods and we went out of the car. We are waiting at an alley until I saw them come out. After TaeNy left when Sica is about to get inside her car, Hyomin and I walk out the alley. I know Sica saw us so I hug Hyomin and we went inside my car. I drive to the hotel where I already made a reservation this morning. I paid the girl asking her to tell us the hotel room in a loud voice for Sica to heard it.

 

Inside the hotel room

 

Hyomin lays on the bed with a blanket cover herself, I put a bathrobe

 

* Knock Knock *

 

I know is Sica, I wait for a while when I open the door I act like very surprise

 

‘ S-S-S-Sica, what are you doing here? ’

 

She pushes me away and stomp inside the room.

 

‘ Who are you? ’

 

I went inside and saw Sica almost drag Hyomin out I quickly stop her

 

‘ Sica stop ’

 

‘ Who is she? What are you doing here with her? ’

 

‘ Why ask if you already know the answer? ’ I said while holding my tears

 

Slaps

 

Then she went out of the room. I touch my face. Hyomin get off the bed well she is dress.

 

‘ Soo, are you alright? ’

 

I can’t help and start crying. The door open, TaeNy and YoonYul comes in.

 

‘ Soo ’ Yoong hugs me

 

‘ Yoong, she hates me ’

 

‘ Shh...........we are here ’ Yoong hugs me

 

SooSica’s POV

 

Sica throws Soo’s stuffs outside. When she heard the door open, she saw Soo comes in.

 

‘ Get all of your stuff out of my place ’

 

Soo takes her suitcases ‘ I’m sorry ’

Before she walks out

 

‘ Why? ’ Sica starts to cry

 

‘ I didn’t mean to hurt you but we are not suit for each other. I really can’t stand you behavior ’ Soo said while clenching her fist

 

‘ Since when? ’

 

‘ .................. ’

 

‘ SINCE WHEN??? ’

 

‘ Hyomin is my childhood friend. I met her again the night when you throw me out at the hotel’s room. We went to a bar, I get drunk and........... ’

 

‘ So during all those time, you cheated on me with her. That’s why you didn’t touch me since that night ’

 

‘ .................. ’

 

‘ I won’t forgive you, I hate you Choi Sooyoung ’

 

‘ Don’t forgive me, just hate me your whole life ’

 

‘ GO TO HELL ’

 

I will - Soo thought

 

Soo puts the couple bracelet on the table then walk out of the apartment.

 

After the door close, Sica falls on the floor hoping that Soo will come back but after a few minutes, nothing happen.

 

Sooyoung’s POV

 

The girls are waiting for me inside the car. They drive back to Yoong’s place, since Yoong insist that I’ll stay with her.

 

Three weeks later

 

My body feel weaker everyday. Is been a week that I stay at the hospital. I can’t eat, everytime I eat I start to throw. My head hurt more frequently. I heard from Fany that Sica will leave the country tomorrow. She accepted a job offer at the States.

 

The door opens and I saw Hyomin comes in

‘ Soo, how are you feeling today? ’

 

‘ My head hurt ’

 

‘ I can’t give you any painkiller now ’

 

I just nod

 

‘ Hyomin, I want to go outside ’

 

‘ You can’t. You are to weak ’

 

‘ I want to see her one last time. Please... ’

 

Hyomin wipes her tears then nods

 

Hyomin drives me at place. I saw her comes out of the building. Hyomin helps me out the car.

 

‘ Is ok, I’ll go by myself ’

 

‘ I’ll stay near ’

 

‘ Thank you Hyo ’

 

Jessica’s POV

 

I finish packing my stuff, I went to have a walk then I heard

 

‘ Sica.... ’

 

That voice..............

 

I turn around and saw Soo standing there.

 

She lost a lot of weight and she looks pale............

 

‘ What are you doing here? I already told you that I don’t want to see you anymore ’ I said coldly but inside of me I’m dying to see her.

 

I told Fany that I will leave the Seoul tomorrow hoping that Soo will beg me to stay.

 

‘ I heard that you will leave tomorrow so I come to say goodbye ’ she smiles

 

‘ Is none of your business. I hope I won’t see you again in my entire life ’

 

‘ I’m sure your wish will come true ’

 

‘ Do you have anything to say? ’

 

‘ Take care ’

 

‘ I will ’

 

With this words I stomps away. When I turn the alley, I look at Soo and I saw that Soo is hugging that girl.

 

Sooyoung’s POV

 

After Sica left, my head hurt when I was almost faint, Hyomin grabs me just in time.

 

‘ Soo, we need to go back to the hospital now ’

 

I just nod

 

All girl’s POV

 

TaeNy and YoonYul are standing around Soo’s bed. In the room, the only heard the beeping of the heart monitor.

 

‘ Soo will be alright right? ’ Yoong asks Hyomin

 

She shakes her head

 

Yoong cries harder

 

Soo slowly opens her eyes ‘ S-S-Sica......... ’ she said very weakly

 

‘ She’s at the airport now. I’ll call her ’ Fany said while crying

 

‘ Fany? ’

 

Fany holds her sobbing and puts her phone on speaker near Soo.

 

‘ Sica ’

 

‘ Fany, why your voice seem so weird? ’

 

‘ I’m not ’

 

‘ Maybe I heard it wrong ’

 

‘ When are you leaving? ’

 

‘ In ten minutes. Why? ’

 

‘ Sica, Soo............. ’

 

Soo holds her hand while shaking her hand weakly

 

‘ Soo what? ’

 

‘ Do you love still Soo? ’ Fany asks

 

‘ ...................Yes, I still love her ’

 

Soo smiles hearing Sica’s words and slowly close her eyes

 

‘ Sica, I’ll call you later ’ Fany hang up the phone

 

Jessica’s POV

 

‘ Why she is so weird today? ’ I talk to myself

 

I walk toward the gate, before I went in I look back once hoping that Soo will appear in front of me asking me to stay. To my disappointment, she is not here. I wipe my tears and went inside the gate.

 

Two years later

 

I come back in Seoul for a vacation. I didn’t tell anyone because I want to give them a surprise. I take a cab and went to TaeNy’s place.

 

All girl’s POV

 

‘ Baby, give it to me. You are pregnant, this is to heavy ’ Tae takes the glass away from Fany

 

‘ Tae, is just a glass of water. Also, I’m just two months pregnant ’

 

‘ Even so, if you want something just ask me I’ll do it for you ’

 

Fany shakes her head and stand up from the couch

 

‘ Were are you going? ’ Tae quickly follow

 

‘ Bathroom. You can’t help me with this ’

 

When Fany comes out from the bathroom

 

‘ Is everything ready? ’ Fany asks

 

‘ Yes ’

 

‘ I can’t believe it. Is two years since Soo left us ’ Fany said sadly

 

* Ding Dong *

 

‘ Is YoonYul ’ Tae went to open the door

 

‘ Sica.......... ’

 

‘ Tae, how are you? ’ Sica hugs Tae

 

‘ I’m great. ’

 

‘ Sica............. ’ Fany runs toward Sica and hugs her tightly

 

‘ Gosh, why you didn’t call? ’

 

‘ I want to give you guys a surprise ’ Sica smiles

 

‘ Yah.....be careful of our baby ’

 

‘ You are pregnant? ’

 

‘ Yes ’

 

Sica hugs Fany happily. They sit in the living talking about casual thing.

 

‘ How is Soo? ’ Sica asks

 

‘ She......she is great. She just went on vacation with her girlfriend ’ Fany said without looking at Sica

 

Sica nods

 

‘ Sica, you must be tired. Why don’t you have a rest in the guest room. Fany and I have somewhere to go ’ Tae said

 

‘ Ok ’

 

30 minutes later

 

* Ding Dong *

 

Tae opens the door

 

‘ Are you guys ready? Soo is waiting for us ’ Yoong said

 

‘ Sh..........Sica is here ’ Fany said in a low voice

 

‘ Sica is here? ’ Yul asks

 

Tae nods

 

‘ Where is she? ’ Yoong asks

 

‘ Sleeping in the guest room ’ Tae said

 

‘ We should go before she wakes up ’ Yul said

 

Jessica’s POV

 

After TaeNy went out of the room I try to sleep.

 

You seem to be happy, going on a vacation with your girlfriend..........

 

I heard

 

* Ding Dong *

 

Then I heard Yoong’s voice

 

‘ Are you guys ready? Soo is waiting for us ’

 

Soo??? But Fany said that she is on vacation with her girlfriend...Why Fany lied to me?

 

I slowly open the door and listen to their conversation but I can’t hear what their are saying. Then the front door close. I quickly went out and follow them.

 

Outside the building, I saw them holding a bouquet of flower and some foods. They all went into Yul’s car. I call a cab

 

‘ Follow the car in front please ’

 

After 15 minutes, the car stops. I look around

 

Cemetery????

 

I hide myself and follow them. I saw them standing in front of a grave.

 

Who’s grave is it? They said Soo is waiting for them but why they come here.....I’m sure I didn’t heard it wrong

 

Yoong puts the bouquet of flower in front of the grave.

 

30 minutes later, the girls leave. I went infront of the tomb and I saw the name Choi Sooyoung

 

That’s impossible............

 

I fall on the ground

 

All girl’s POV

 

At TaeNy’s place

 

Fany went to the guest room to look at Sica after they come back from the cemetery. When she opens the door, the room is empty

 

‘ Sica, is not in the room ’ Fany said

 

‘ Maybe she went out from a walk ’

 

One hour later

 

They heard the door open and Sica comes in.

 

‘ Sica, where have you been? ’ Yul asks

 

‘ A walk. Where we you guys? ’

 

They look at each other

 

‘ We have a double date ’ Tae lies

 

Sica sits down ‘ Where’s Soo? ’

 

‘ I-I-I told you, she is on vacation with her girlfriend ’ Fany said

 

‘ When she will be back, I wanna see her ’

 

‘ We don’t know, she didn’t tell us ’ Yoong said

 

‘ Stop lying, Soo won’t come back ’ Sica yells and starts crying

‘ What are you talking about? Of course Soo will come back ’ Yul said

 

‘ I saw her grave. I follow you guys to the cemetery ’

 

‘ ........................ ’

 

Fany hugs the crying Sica

 

‘ Sh...please Sica don’t cry. Soo don’t want to see you like this that’s why she let you go ’ Fany said

 

‘ Tell me everything ’ Sica said

 

Tae sighs ‘ I think we should tell her the truth ’

 

‘ Soo had brain cancer ’ Fany said

 

‘ What? Since when you guys know ’

 

‘ She fainted the night of her birthday. After you kick her out of the hotel, she fainted then the doctor said she have brain cancer ’ Tae said

 

‘ And that girl....... ’

 

‘ She our childhood friend and Soo’s doctor. Soo asks her help to make you leave her ’ Yoong said while wiping her tears

 

‘ When she left? ’

 

‘ ................ ’

 

‘ WHEN???? ’

 

‘ The day you left for the States ’ Yul said

 

Sica cries harder

 

‘ I was not at her side when she needs me. She must be very scare when she left. The last thing I said to her is that I don’t want to see her again in my whole life ’

 

‘ No Sica, Soo knows that you love her ’

 

‘ No....I said I hate her and don’t want to see her ’ Sica shakes her head

 

‘ She heard you said that you still love her before she left that day ’ Yul said

 

‘ You mean........ ’

 

‘ I called you on speaker at the hospital that morning. She heard you said that you still love her before she left. Sica, Soo did all this because she don’t want you to be sad after she left ’

 

‘ I’m so stupid. How can I believe that she really cheated on me? ’

 

‘ Sica, Soo loves you. We are sure that she don’t wanna see you like this ’ Tae said

 

Sica cries the whole night with the girls staying with her

 

A few days later,

 

‘ Where’s Sica? ’ Yul asks

 

‘ She went to the cemetery ’ Tae said

 

‘ Since she knows about Soo, she went there everyday. I’m worry about her ’ Fany said

 

Jessica’s POV

 

‘ Baby, I’m here again ’

 

I touch the grave and sit beside it.

 

‘ I miss you so much. I’m sorry to leaving you alone for two years. Just wait a little while more I’ll come to you very soon ’

 

One year later

 

All girl’s POV

 

‘ Hey you two ’ Fany puts the bouquet in front of the grave with the name Choi Sooyoung and Jessica Jung on it.

 

Flashback

 

One year ago

 

‘ Hello? ’

 

‘ Is miss Hwang here? ’

 

‘ Is me? ’

 

‘ I’m the police officer of Seoul police station ’

 

‘ How can I help you? ’

 

‘ We found Jessica Jung’s body at the cemetery ’

 

Fany drops her phone

 

‘ Fany, what happen? ’ Tae asks

 

Yul takes the phone

 

‘ Miss Jung cuts her wrist, an employee at the cemetery found her body beside of Choi Sooyoung’s grave . When we arrive it was too late ’

 

End flashback

 

‘ SooSica, we have a good news for you two. Yoong and I are get marry next month ’ Yul said while holding Yoong’s hand

 

‘ I’m sure you two will look after us in heaven ’ Yoong said

 

‘ Next time, we’ll come with Luna to visit you two ’ Tae said

 

‘ I’m sure they are happy ’ Fany said

 

‘ Don’t you think is too late ’ Yoong said

 

‘ No because they have each other just like us but in different world ’ Yul said
