SooTaeNy’s POV

 

Soo is in the emergency room when TaeNy arrive.

 

‘ Soo....... ’ Fany

 

Soo is still unconscious

 

‘ Are you Choi Sooyoung’s family? ’ the doctor asks

 

‘ I’m her friend. How is she? ’ Fany asks worriedly

 

‘ Let’s talk outside ’

 

TaeNy follow

 

‘ I’m doctor Park Hyomin, I’m Sooyoung’s doctor ’

 

‘ Doctor Park, how is Soo? Why she suddenly faint? ’

 

‘ Fany-ah, calm down. Let doctor Park talks ’

 

‘ From her CT scan, she haves brain cancer ’

 

‘ No, it must be a mistake ’ Fany said while crying

 

‘ I’m sorry ’

 

‘ Can you do an operation? You need to save her ’ Tae said

 

Hyomin shakes her head ‘ Is too late ’

 

‘ H-h-how long....... ’

 

‘ One month maximum ’

 

Fany cries on Tae’s shoulder

 

‘ We’ll send her to a room. I’ll check on her tomorrow  ’

 

‘ Thank you ’ Tae said

 

In the room

 

‘ Where’s Sica? ’ Fany asks

 

‘ I didn’t see her. I’ll call her now ’ Tae walks out the room

 

Fany is holding Soo’s hand. Soo slowly opens her eyes

 

‘ F-Fany? What are you doing here? Where am I? ’

 

‘ Soo, you fainted. You are in the hospital now ’

 

Soo nods weakly ‘ Fany, are you crying? ’

 

Soo cupped Fany’s face

 

Fany quickly wipes her tears ‘ I’m not ’

 

‘ Don’t lie to me. What did the doctor said? ’

 

‘ Nothing ’

 

‘ Fany..... ’

 

Fany shakes her head

 

‘ If you don’t tell me then I’ll go see the doctor ’ Soo wants to get off the bed

 

‘ Soo......... ’ Fany hugs Soo while crying

 

‘ Fany, why are you crying. I’m fine. I was dizzy because of the work ’

 

Fany shakes her head

 

‘ Fany, what did the doctor said to you? ’ Soo asks while patting Fany’s back

 

‘ S-s-she said ’

 

‘ She said what? ’

 

‘ You have brain cancer ’

 

‘ .........................Fany, is not funny ’

 

Fany cry harder. Soo slowly pulls off the hug. Looking at Fany, she knows that everything that Fany said is true.

 

‘ I need to see the doctor ’ Soo gets off the bed

 

‘ Soo, please you need to rest ’ Fany stops her

‘ No, I need to see her. It must be a mistake I can’t have brain cancer ’ Soo falls on the floor and start crying

 

Tae comes in ‘ Sica’s phone is off ’

 

Tae saw the crying Soo on the floor, she quickly went toward her and help her back to the bed

 

‘ Tae, tell me is not true ’ Soo holds Tae’s arms tightly while crying

 

‘ ........................ ’

 

‘ Where’s the doctor? ’ Soo asks

 

‘ Soo, please calm down. Doctor Park will come tomorrow morning. I’ll try to call Sica later ’ Tae said while hugging the crying Soo

 

‘ D-Don’t call Sica. Please don’t tell her anything ’ Soo said

 

‘ Ok, we won’t call Sica. Promise us that you will rest from now. We’ll stay here with you ’ Tae said

 

The next morning

 

Yoona’s POV

 

I was at the airport, my flight will be in an hour. I received a call from oppa earlier saying he wants to meet me. I’m not in the coffee shop waiting for him. After a while, I saw him coming

 

‘ I’m sorry for calling so early ’ He said while sitting down

 

‘ Is ok, oppa, why you wanna see me? ’

 

Did he know about last night?

 

‘ I know during these month, Yul went to see you secretly and you two met last night ’

 

‘ I didn’t meet with her after we break up. I just met her last night at Soo’s birthday party. I kept my promise ’

 

‘ This is not what I wanna talk....... ’

 

‘ Oppa, I don’t know why you suddenly wanna meet me. If you scare that I’ll be back with Yuri then don’t worry I won’t. I’m leaving the country and I won’t come back so you don’t need to worry about anything ’

 

 ‘ Did Yul know? ’

 

‘ She don’t have to know. I’m sorry I have a flight to catch. Take care ’ I stand up and walk away

 

‘ Yoona, wait........ ’

 

I didn’t turn back I just walk toward the gate.

 

Yuri’s POV

 

‘ Yoong.......... ’ I slowly open my eyes and saw the bed side empty

 

I look around and myself.

 

I’m dressed. So last night is just a dream but everything seems so real..........Why am I so stupid, she already have a girlfriend, do you think she will made love with you Kwon Yuri

 

I get off the bed and went into the bathroom to take a shower. After I fresh up, I went out of the room. At the alley, I saw Seo

 

Yoong must be with her.......

 

Then my eyes went widened when I saw a blond girl comes out from the elevator back hugging her.

 

How dare she cheated on Yoong.........

 

I clenched my fist and stomp toward them

 

‘ What are you doing? ’

 

They both look at me

 

‘ Yuri unnie......... ’

 

‘ Baby, who is she? ’ the blond girl asks

 

‘ Baby??? How can you cheat on Yoong? ’ I ask angrily

 

‘ Cheat on Yoong? Are you cheating on me? ’

 

‘ What? No ’ Seo looks at the girl

 

‘ Then what is she talking about ’

 

‘ She is talking about Yoona unnie ’ Seo said

 

‘ So, you are that girl? ’ she looks at me

 

‘ What girl? ’ I ask

 

‘ I’m Seo’s fiancée, Kim Hyoyeon ’

 

‘ You have a fiancée and you are with Yoong ’

 

‘ No ’ Seo said

 

‘ Baby, maybe we need to tell her the truth ’

 

‘ What truth? ’

 

‘ Yoona and me are not dating. We are just acting in front of you ’

 

‘ Impossible I saw you two that night. You kissed her ’

 

‘ Unnie already know you are hiding behind the tree so she asked for my help. We didn’t kiss I swear ’

 

‘ Then last night....... ’

 

‘ I help unnie to take you here then she stayed with you ’

 

That’s mean last night we were really together. Is not a dream, we really made love and she said she loves me......

 

My phone starts ringing I look at the id and saw oppa’s number

 

‘ Oppa? ’

 

‘ Yul, where are you? ’

 

‘ At the hotel, I’m coming home ’

 

‘ Don’t ’

 

‘ What? ’

 

‘ Yoona is leaving ’

 

‘ What do you mean leaving? ’

 

‘ I’m at the airport now. She said that she is leaving Seoul and won’t come back ’

 

‘ Where is she now? ’

 

‘ I don’t know. I chase after her but then I lost her. Come here hurry ’

 

‘ I’m coming. If you see her don’t let her go ’

 

I look at Seo

 

‘ You already know that Yoong is leaving ’

 

‘ I’m sorry, I promise unnie that I won’t tell ’

 

‘ Do Soo knows? ’

 

Seo nods

 

I clenched my fist and run toward the elevator. After 30 minutes, I arrive at the airport. I run inside and saw oppa looking around

 

‘ Oppa ’ I run toward him

 

‘ Where’s Yoong? ’

 

‘ I can’t find her. I think she already left ’

 

‘ Do you know where she is going? ’

 

‘ No ’

 

I fall on the floor with tears falling down

 

‘ I’m sorry Yul, it was my fault if she decides to leave the country. I want to tell her that I already forgive you two and accept your relationship but she didn’t give me a chance to talk and she walked away ’

 

I start crying then I remember

Sooyoung’s POV

 

TaeNy went to the cafeteria to buy some foods. I was in my room then the door opens. The doctor comes in

 

‘ Morning Sooyoung, I’m doctor Park Hyomin.  How are you feeling today? ’

 

‘ My head still hurt and sometimes I feel dizzy ’

 

‘ I’ll prescribe you some medication. You need to come back to see me in two days ’

 

‘ Is it true about what they said ’

 

‘ I’m sorry ’

 

‘ How many time do I have? ’

 

‘ One month ’

 

I nod and she left

 

One month? That’s mean, a month later I’ll leave this world.......How about Sica? I don’t want her to see me leaving this world...............I  want her to be happy, she can’t know about this........

 

‘ Soo..... ’ Fany comes in

 

When I look up I saw Yul standing next to them. Seeing her face, I know she already know what happen. Yul hugs me while crying

 

‘ Hey, I’m not dead yet. I still have a month ’ I joke but inside I’m feel so scare

 

‘ Don’t say those words. Did Yoong knows about this? ’

 

‘ No ’

 

‘ Where is she? ’ Yul asks

 

‘ I don’t know ’

 

‘ Don’t lie to me. Seo told me that you know ’

 

‘ Soo, Yoong needs to know about your situation. You are her only family ’ Fany said

 

‘ Soo, oppa already accept us. I promise I will take care of her in the future. Please tell me where she is and I’ll bring her back. You want to see her too right ’ Yul said

 

‘ Paris ’

 

‘ What? ’

 

‘ Yoong went to Paris ’

 

‘ I’ll bring her back ’

 

I nod

 

‘ Can you all promise me one thing? ’

 

‘ What it is? ’ Tae asks

 

‘ Don’t tell Sica that I’m sick ’

 

I look at Fany knowing that she know exactly what I wanna do

 

‘ No Soo. Sica have the right to know your situation ’

 

‘ No she don’t have the right ’

 

‘ What do you mean? ’ Yul asks

 

‘ I’ll break up with her ’

 

‘ Soo, don’t do this. I know what you want but this is not the solution ’ Fany said

 

‘ I’m leaving this world in a month. I don’t want her to cry all days because of me. She is still young, she can find someone else and fall in love again. So don’t tell her anything, even after I left ’

 

‘ She will search for you ’ Yul said

 

‘ I’ll make sure she won’t. You guys will help me right? ’

 

They nods

 

I went toward my car

 

‘ Soo, let us drive you home ’ Fany said

 

‘ I’m fine now. I can’t left my car here. Don’t worry about me ’

 

‘ Call us if you don’t feel well ’ Tae said

 

I nod

 

TaeNy and Yul drive away

 

I was about to went inside my car

 

‘ You can’t drive at this condition ’

 

I turn back and saw doctor Park walking toward me

 

‘ Doctor Park? ’

 

‘ Just call me Hyomin ’

 

‘ Hyomin? ’

 

This name seem so familiar.........

 

‘ You are..... ’

 

‘ You remember me ’

 

‘ You are the little girl that live in the same dorm with me and Yoong back to the orphanage center ’

 

Hyomin hugs me ‘ I’m sorry that I can’t help you ’

 

‘ No can’t do anything. I’m glad to see you again ’ I hug her back

 

‘ Let me drive you home ’ Hyomin said

 

‘ You don’t have work ’

 

‘ My shift end ’ she takes the key from my hand

 

Inside the car

 

‘ Hyomin-ah, do you wanna have a walk with me? ’

 

‘ Sure ’

 

Hyomin drive to the park near my place. We walk silently

 

‘ Hyomin, can you help me? ’

 

‘ How can I help? ’

 

‘ Be my girlfriend ’

 

Hyomin’s POV

 

‘ I’m dating someone but I don’t want her to know my situation. Can you help me? ’ She said

 

‘ Soo, if I’m her. I want to be at your side until the end ’

 

She shakes her head ‘ I don’t want her seeing me dying. I need to let her go ’

 

‘ ............... ’

 

‘ If you don’t wanna help then..... ’

 

‘ I’ll help you ’

 

‘ Really? ’

 

‘ Yes ’

 

‘ Thank you. You are really a great friend ’

 

Sooyoung, I love you.........I’m sorry that I can’t save you but I promise I will do anything for you want before you leave this world. You are my first love but I never thought that we will seeing each other again in this situation......
