Tiffany can’t help but kept staring at the empty seat in front of her. It was out of her norm to be clouded in her own thoughts instead of paying attention to lectures. She was having hearing malfunction. Her ears had automatically shut any sound out. Everything was in slow motion as her mind revolved around a particular girl.

Where is she. Why isn’t she here today. Is she sick?

It was already the third day of the week the latter’s been absent from school, and it worried Tiffany sick. She opted to pay Jessica a visit after school, maybe she could also help the latter to catch up with the tutorials. She must have been cognizant of the fact that it would be hard for her to keep up with the fast-paced syllabus in such state if she didn’t settle her anxiousness as soon as possible. When the last school bell chimed, Tiffany hurriedly shove every items on her desk into her bag opening. She made one last scan in case she forgot anything, before rushing off to the staff room where her form teacher was located at.
