Hyomin was feeling pain all over her body, she opened her eyes to find herself inside a warehouse, her legs and hands were tied. She looked around, there was nobody there, she called for Eunjung and Jiyeon’s name, fear was creeping up inside her heart. Then she heard the footstep coming her way, the sound of heel clicking on cement floor, she looked at the direction of the sound, Qri was approaching her.

“Qri ssi” Hyomin gasped, Qri didn’t say anything but smiled devilishly standing in front of her.

“Why did you have to do this Qri ssi?” Hyomin asked

“Because of you, Hyomin ssi, without you Eunjung would look at me as a woman” Qri coldly said.

“Without you, she would accept my love” she continued.

“We just can’t force people to love or not to love, Qri ssi, it’s their hearts that tell them” Hyomin said

“Who are you to tell me huh?” Qri angrily slapped Hyomin’s face.

Hyomin’s turned her head to face Qri with bleeding lips. “Now I doubt if Eunjung unnie would ever fall in love with a cruel woman like you”, Hyomin said, and it made Qri screamed like a crazy, she slapped Hyomin harder and gave another cut on her lips

“You can do whatever you want with me, but please leave Eunjung unnie alone” Hyomin asked her.

“I guess it won’t be that easy Hyomin ssi” Qri said “Torturing you alone is not fun, how about torturing the person who loves you as well” Qri laughted.

Jiyeon and Eunjung left the pub together as soon as they got information from Jang Woo and Jung-kook who witnessed the scene, they were searching for Hyomin all night, they went every places where Eunjung thought Qri could possibly take Hyomin there, she tried calling Qri’s phone number over and over but their search was all in vain, there was no track of them at all .

They couldn’t sleep, they were waiting until morning in the hope to hear any news at Eunjung’s apartment, the longer they waited, the more frustrated and worried they were. Suddenly Jiyeon got up and took her jacket and key

“Where are you going Jiyeon?” Eunjung asked

“I just can’t wait anymore, I’m going crazy now, I need to find her” Jiyeon said and was about to leave

Just then Eunjung’s phone rang, they turned their attention to her phone, and it showed unknown number “Video Calling”, Eunjung quickly answered, when answer button was pressed, Eunjung’s phone screen showed a video of Hyomin was tied with her lips bleeding and messy hair, Eunjung and Jiyeon gasped in shock.

“Hyomin!” Eunjung shouted in front of the phone, Jiyeon quickly took the phone from Eunjung

“Where are you Hyomin?” Jiyeon asked quickly, her hand was trembling seeing how awful Hyomin looked

Instead of screaming or crying, Hyomin chose to stay silent, she didn’t want them to come and rescue her for she doubted of their safety.

“Just tell her” Qri said, and kicked Hyomin on her stomach, it sent Hyomin on the floor crouching with pain

“NO” Eunjung and Jiyeon shouted , then the phone was switching off to a front camera showing Qri’s smiling face.

“You are sick!” Eunjung shouted at Qri.

“Come and save your girlfriend, Eunjung” Qri said laughing then the phone before it was hang up.

Eunjung tried to call back but it was redirected to voice message service, she quickly picked up her car key

“ Jiyeon call the police, I’ll go to there to save Hyomin” Eunjung said

“I’ll go with you, you know where it is?” Jiyeon asked

“ Yes, it’s Hyori’s old warehouse” Eunjung before rushing out of the apartment followed by Jiyeon.

Eunjung got out of the car as soon as she arrived in front of the warehouse, Jiyeon followed her closely. Once they were inside, they found Hyomin laid on the floor her hands and legs were tired.

“ Hyomin!” Jiyeon rushed to Hyomin first lifting her up while Eunjung helped to untie Hyomin.

“Jiyeon , Eunjung unnie” Hyomin tried to speak

“Are you hurt?” Jiyeon kissed Hyomin’s forehead

“ Hyomin ah, you are safe now, let’s get going now” Eunjung suggested as she helped Jiyeon to stand up.

“Wow, this is interesting!” Qri said, coming out of hiding, with a gun in her hand.

They all widened their eyes. Eunjung came to the front of Jiyeon that was holding Hyomin.

“It seems like not only me that hurt from this love story” Qri laughed

“ Just let them go Qri” Eunjung said.

“ Unnie / Eunjung unnie” Hyomin and Jiyeon said

“Wow, we have a hero here” Qri said walking closer to them.

“Qri, please stop here, don’t hurt yourself even more” Eunjung pleaded.

“ Oh, now you know I got hurt” Qri sarcastically said

“ Qri, Hyomin had nothing to do with this, it was my fault that I couldn’t love you” Eunjung said , the words from Eunjung just triggered the pain in Qri’s heart.

“ If I can’t have you, then no one should, I won’t lose you to someone else” Qri lifted up her gun aiming at Eunjung

“BANG”

“STOP”

“BANG”

“NO!”   

Hyomin turned Eunjung who was standing in front of her around and used herself to block Eunjung from a bullet that Qri aiming at her, Hyomin was shot on her back, her face was scrunched with pain , and on the other side, Qri was shot by police that entered the warehouse to see she was firing at Hyomin.

“ Hyomin !” Jiyeon caught Hyomin before her head hit the floor

“ No!” Eunjung screamed.

 “Oh, my god, Hyomin ” Jiyeon frantically cried, holding Hyomin in her arms, blood flowing on her hands

“Pabo yah! Why did you to this to me, Hyomin !? Eunjung screamed, reaching for Hyomin’s hand

“Because I love you unnie, you are my best sister, and the best sister in the world” Hyomin said smiling at Eunjung, Eunjung couldn’t breathe properly crying her eyes out, the person who was supposed to be lying there should have been her, not Hyomin.

 “Jiyeon ah” Hyomin said, reaching for Jiyeon’s face, Jiyeon took Hyomin’s hand to touch her face, her tear was dropping on Hyomin and her heart was wrenching hard

“I know I’ve never told you this, but I want you to know that I love you” Hyomin said

“I knew it Hyomin, I knew it, I love you too” Jiyeon said, tear flowing down.

 “Thank you for filling up the hold in my heart” Hyomin said coughing blood.

 “I love you Hyomin ah, I love you, please stay with me” Jiyeon cried, pleading.

“I wished I could” Hyomin said brought up her little finger, Jiyeon did the same. They wrapped their little fingers around each other and then Hyomin’s finger dropped from Jiyeon’s, she closed her eyes.

 “Hyomin, don’t you dare closing your eyes on me, no, Hyomin ! ” Jiyeon shouted hugging Hyomin closed to her heart

“Hyomin!” Eunjung called out, holding Hyomin’s hand,

Two years later

Two women were standing in front of a gravestone; One kneeled down to place flowers on a cold marble stone. They stood silently, let the birds chirping on the tress serenading the person lied in peace the unearth

“Let’s go” Jiyeon said, before taking an older woman’s hand and left the cemetery.

All the way to the town, Jiyeon kept stealing glances at the woman beside her, she kept quiet since the visit

“Are you alright?” Jiyeon decided to ask

“Yeah” a woman answered before looking out of the widow. Jiyeon just sighed and continued to drive the car.

Jiyeon stopped in front of a café called “For The Heart” bakery and coffee shop, but it seemed that the woman beside her didn’t even realize that the car stopped moving.

“You’re scaring me, Hyomin ah” Jiyeon said, reaching for her hand and rubbing it lovingly. Hyomin just realized that she made Jiyeon worried so she smiled to erase her lover’s worry.

“Let’s go inside before I get scolded” Jiyeon said.

As they entered the café, aroma smell greeted their nose, followed by few waiters and waitresses, Hyomin didn’t stop at any table but proceeding to the back counter leading to a kitchen, she saw a woman busily preparing bakery , her back was facing her, Hyomin walked closer and gave her a back hug

 “I miss you, Eunjung unnie” Hyomin said cutely like a kid.

Eunjung inhaled a familiar perfume scent; She smiled and continued what she was doing. Hyomin rubbed her face on the older woman’s back to get her attention.

“Did you eat yet?” Eunjung asked

“Not yet” Hyomin answered

“Aish, it’s already late afternoon now, why don’t you eat? Where is that kid, didn’t I tell her to look after you?” Eunjung complained before turning to face Hyomin.

“I want to have lunch with my Eunjung unnie” Hyomin smiled cheerfully, Eunjung smiled and ruffled Hyomin’s hair.

It has been two years since the incident that changed their lives. That day, after Hyomin passed out, two ambulance cars that arrived at the scene brought Hyomin and Qri to hospital, both of them were sent to emergency room, Hyomin was suffering from blood loss and her heart was getting weaker, while Qri who got a shot on her head, though she was still breathing by the support of oxygen mask but her brain was already dead.

Hyori was devastated to find out about her sister’s fetal condition and know all the truth from Eunjung, as the way to release her sister from all pain, guilt and fault, she decided to authorize a heart donation for her sister to help Hyomin, and fortunately it was matched with Hyomin’s, the surgery was successful but it took Hyomin more than one month in coma and one and a half year for physical therapy and all medical treatment until Hyomin was back to normal.

During those tough times, Jiyeon and Eunjung helped to take care of Hyomin flawlessly; Eunjung saw how tirelessly Jiyeon did for Hyomin, from smallest thing to greater thing; After the first few months Hyomin woke up from coma , Jiyeon fed her food, clothed for her or even bathed for her, and Jiyeon was always there when Hyomin learned how to walk again. If there was someone Eunjung could trust enough to leave Hyomin in their hands, it wouldn’t be none other than Jiyeon. Eunjung learned that though she couldn’t have Hyomin’s heart as a lover but she would forever have her as a little sister and family, the younger woman loved her as much as she could die for her, it was an unconditional love that Eunjung could ever wish for from her only family member she had, she wanted nothing for Hyomin but her happiness and good health.

Eunjung decided to quit her job at the pub and opened her own bakery and coffee shop called “For The Heart”, so she could live her life normally, and spend normal hour time with her sister, Hyomin when Jiyeon has to be away for overseas photo shooting job.

Hyomin stood in front a photo of a sleeping woman, her hair was messy, without make-up, lying in bed in a hospital, it seemed the woman had been sleeping for long time, under the photo, it was a photo name called “Waiting for you to come back” , her tear ran down her cheeks.

“You like it” Jiyeon walked from behind and gave Hyomin a hug.

“It was amazing” Hyomin said wiping away her tear.

 “Don’t cry my love, I only want to make you smile and happy” Jiyeon said looking at the photos.

Jiyeon and Hyomin were inside a photo exhibition “From my heart through my eyes” held by Jiyeon. She exhibited the photos she has taken all these years and several of Hyomin’s photos were featured. The exhibition was quite successful, it gained numerous of visitors.

 “Please don’t cry, Hyomin ah, if Eunjung unnie sees this, she will take you away from me” Jiyeon girlfriend who was touched by Jiyeon’s words earlier and it made her cry even more.

“Now nothing can take me away from you, cause I belong to you ” Hyomin said, smiled through her tearful eyes.

“ With all your heart and soul” Jiyeon cupped Hyomin’s face and kissed her on her lips.

“My heart is beating for the one I love and I’m breathing for the one who loves me”
