“Chanyeol how come Yumi isn’t with you?” Mrs. Park asked her son as he entered the house.

She felt something was off as Chanyeol quickly went up the stairs without greeting her.

“Great dinner should be interesting.” She sighed as she turned to the dining room to help set up for the family dinner.

“Mrs. Park the Kim’s are here.” the maid said as she left the kitchen to go get the guest settled down in the living room

Mrs. Park looked up the stairs as she knew it was going to be hard to get all of her family down for dinner. She sighed as she headed up the stairs. The first room on her left was where her daughter’s room was. She quietly knocked on the door

“Yura. Its omma, the Kim’s are here for dinner.” She said as she waited for her daughter to open the door.

“Omma, lets do it another night.” Yura said as she opened the door to her mom

“You know I can’t if they are already here. Come on lets go now. We can’t keep our guest waiting.” Mrs. Park said before she headed down to Chanyeol’s room

“Chanyeol, they’re here. Let’s hurry up and come down.” She said knowing that her son would not be coming down for dinner like always. But she as always hoped that he would.

Chanyeol opened the door as he stared at his mother, he saw the pain in her eyes as he sighed.

“I’ll be down in a few seconds.” He said as he closed the door back on her.

She smiled as she headed towards her husband’s office

“Yeobo, the Kim’s are here.” She said as she entered the room

“Oh.” He answered while still looking at the paperwork in front of him.

“Can’t you just leave your work at work?” She asked her husband as he looked up at her.

“Maybe if my son was taking over my business I wouldn’t have to work so hard.” He said as he turned back to his paper work.

She knew her husband was not wrong as she sighed and walked out of the office. When was her family even an actual family, she thought as she prepared herself and walked down the stairs to greet the Kim’s.
