Chapter 13
Blessed AgonySehun's words rang in my ears the entire night. The more I thought about it, the less I understood. I would never be able to comprehend the true meaning on my own so I gave up. And that was the last thing I remembered before i fell into a deep slumber.
"Look it's the thief!"
I ignored the ferocious yell echoing through the hallway. Given what happened yesterday, I should have seen it coming. Yet I was lying if I said I was completely ready for this. The moment my eyes shot open this morning, I knew the peaceful night was over, replaced by the start of yet another hellish school day. Faking sick just never really worked with my parents, especially my mom. Well, it's either she was born with psychic abilities or I at lying. I doubted the former was the case but if it was, okay that scared the hell out of me.
Anyway, back to reality.
"Be careful with your purse guys! Ain't nobody want to be her next target" An exaggerated mocking laughter concluded her spiteful remark. See? That was the kind of I had to put up every single day.
If there was anything to be grateful for that morning, it was the fact that I made it safely to the classroom without having any form of physical abuse happened to me and of course to see homegirl back at school observing her surrounding, confused as hell. The moment she realised my presence, she shot up from her seat and I knew I had a lot of explanation to do.
"What's going on?"
Letting out long sigh of despair, I reluctantly began to share my sorrow. "The witch... she tricked everyone into believing that I stole her damn purse."
