Astigmatism

Jackson was someone that suffered from astigmatism.

That is the reason why you could find him frequently squinting his eyes. Basically, his vision tends to be blurry and squinting helps. Luckily, the degree of his astigmatism wasn't too severe. He just suffered from occasional blurriness.

When his fellow Roommate members got to know of his condition, they were extremely cautious not to let him strain his eyes in any way possible. They didn't want him to suffer from more severe astigmatism.

Although one particular roommate member sympathizes with him, it didn't stop her mischievous nature from showing up.
